For extra guests in your group (after 2) the loft may be rented for $30/night per guest. (Taxes and cleaning are included in the pricing.). There are four single beds in the Loft. Neighborhood Overview
My husband and I live up the hill from The Little Red Cottage. Pets live on the property. A Bassett hound (Rita) who is friendly and curious, but will not bother you. If you prefer, she can be contained. A yellow cat (Frank) that may hang around. It seems they both like the front porch when we have guests! You may hear an occasional LOUD train whistle! The tracks are very close to the Cottage and the hum of train going by can be soothing.

The garage is normally not for guest use and the Cottage is not equipped with a dishwasher, washer, or dryer.

We ask that guests clean up after themselves, emptying the trash in the trash barrel and washing the dishes before checking out. Leave the linens and towels! We will take care of those. Smoking is allowed OUTSIDE ONLY and please clean up after yourself. Please be respectful of the neighbors and don't engage in any loud or disturbing noises.

GUEST SPACE - 'Ain't She Cute' is a country cozy getaway that provides all the conveniences of home. The kitchen is equipped with a full size refrigerator, a gas cook-top, microwave, double sink, pots, pans, dishes and utensils. With the open floor plan of 200 square feet, the trailer accommodates a vintage, queen size, iron bed, antique daybed for lounging, dining table for two and a full size (absolutely full size, not trailer size) bathroom. Nearly everything in the travel trailer is either vintage or antique.

Just outside the cozy trailer is a patio table and chairs and of course a BBQ grill for grilling your favorite meal. On the grounds, is a fire-pit for you to enjoy with plenty of fire wood. GUEST ACCESS - This charming travel trailer is nestled into the grounds of a three acre homestead on a 180 acre farm. The private drive allows plenty of room for you to park near the travel trailer. The owner's 1920 Red Brick Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast is located 150 feet from the travel trailer. Not too close, but close enough if you need a cup of sugar!

OUR OWN RESTAURANT - Just down the road 5 miles and into Higginsville, is our very own restaurant, Red Shanty BBQ & Roadside Cafe, open Wed and Thurs, 11am to 8pm and Fri and Sat, 11am to 9pm. The restaurant is available for dining in, taking out and catering. If we can help with any suggestions or ideas to make your visit more relaxing, entertaining, comfortable or enjoyable, please do not hesitate to ask.

INTERACTION WITH OUR GUESTS - We love to meet our guests, but we strive to give you as much privacy as possible. Due to the fact we live in the Red Brick Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast, you may see us from time to time, so don’t hesitate to strike up a conversation.

GETTING AROUND - ‘Ain’t She Cute’ is located just 8 minutes off of I-70 at the 13 Highway Exit (Exit 49). The cozy travel trailer is 1 hour and 15 minutes from Kansas City International Airport, 60 minutes from the Country Club Plaza, 55 minutes from downtown Kansas City, and 45 minutes from the Kansas City Royals and Kansas City Chiefs Stadium.

SIGHTSEEING - In for a little sightseeing, just a short drive from 'Ain't She Cute' is Confederate State Park and Missouri State Veterans Cemetery. There are also historic sites, Civil War sites, six nearby wineries, Kleinschmidt’s Western Store, antique shops, and a local golf course. Scenic Byways along 24 Hwy and 224 Hwy are located approximately 20 minutes from ‘Ain’t She Cute’ travel trailer. Along the Missouri Scenic Byway, 24 Hwy there are numerous orchards for purchasing your favorite fruits and vegetables, especially peaches in late July and August and apples in September and October.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE - Holiday rates: for the 4 days surrounding Memorial Weekend, 4th of July, Labor Day Weekend, Thanksgiving, and Christmas - there is a minimum 2 nights stay.

This is a brand new lodge that was just finished in the fall of 2018.
It has a beautiful setting with lots of cedar on the walls. The outside has cedar logs to accent the front. It is surrounded with trees and a quiet
space with a long row of Oak trees down the lane that lead to the Lodge.
They look great year around. The concrete patio around the outside has
a table and chairs to enjoy the outdoor experience. A cedar log fence adds to the atmosphere along with a fire pit.

The space
This is a large farmhouse, built in 1890, and fully updated. It has been in our family for generations. We use it often for family gatherings so it's well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Note that there is no Wifi or TV in the house. But there is good cell phone service, so you can stream through your phones if you want.

We loved all the little details! The pool was perfectly clear when we arrived and has a big sun umbrella and plenty of recliner/zero gravity chairs. We spent a lot of time by the pool! The firepit is huge and also had more than enough seating for all of us, plus a grill, outdoor table, and bar area. Brad was great! Came over and lit a fire for us in the pit when we got there. Also made sure we had plenty of firewood for the weekend, extra propane for the grill, and roasting sticks for smores. When I asked before our trip if there was a blender he replied immediately that he would get one for us. I love cows and he also arranged for his daughter to bring treats over so we could feed the mini highlands. She was very sweet! She also took us across the street to their barn and we got to help feed the bottle babies. Highlight of the trip! As was the massage chair! We hope to come back again one day."

We call the home 'Das Gästehaus,' which is German for The Guesthouse as a nod to Concordia's deep German roots. Conveniently located just 2 blocks south of downtown & less than a mile off I-70. Das Gästehaus is a lovely 2-bedroom, 1 bath home that has just been fully remodeled inside and out. Bedroom 1, which is 2 steps down from the main level, features a king bed and 43" TV. Bedroom 2 can be set up as either a king bed and 2 singles, or 4 singles. The living room has a comfortable queen sleeper sofa and a 50" TV. There is a nice covered front porch available for relaxing. The living room, dining area, and kitchen flow together seamlessly. The kitchen features a range, microwave, side by side refrigerator, dishwasher, and Keurig coffee machine. The spacious bathroom has a 48" vanity and a glass-walled 48" shower. The main entry door, bathroom door, and door to bedroom 2 are all 36" wide for those looking for better accessibility. The doors to bedroom 1 and the back door are 32" wide. You'll have private access to the entire home, including the covered front porch. We have a washer & dryer in our home, located next door, that is available by request.

Situated outside of the small town of Bogard, the isolated cabin farmhouse offers a rural feel to guests with endless greens in sight and a chance to spot some wildlife. Popular species found on the farm include deer, turkey, coyotes, racoons, foxes, and squirrels. We also have a huge pond whose population include bass, crappie and catfish.

Savor country living at this farmhouse that comes with 2 bedrooms, living area, fully equipped and stocked kitchen, dining area, washer, dryer, dishwasher and smart TV's with easy access to Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu and more with our high speed internet.

Bedrooms come with linen, and both have closets. Master bedroom has a queen size bed; second bedroom is furnished with a bunk bed whose base bed is a sleeper sofa. Also included is a roll-away single size bed in the closet. Kitchen is spacious with an open plan space that links kitchen, living and dining area. There is a dining area for 4 and living area provides seating and entertainment.

The space
This cozy home is on one level and offers warm comforts for guests. We strive to be family-friendly with offerings such as toys, board games and a small swing set outside. There is a rocking chair in the main bedroom. There are TV's in each room with streaming services in two of the rooms. There is a kitchen nook with four stools and a dining room that seats four as well.
Guest Access
Our home sits on 80 acres with additional outbuildings for farming purposes. These additional buildings are not accessible for guests. No trespassing signs are posted to make guest aware of these areas.
Other Things to Note
We want our guest to enjoy their experience in our country retreat while also respecting the quiet nature of the town. Parties and events are strictly prohibited, along with smoking of ANY kind on the property.

Nearby Attractions:
The town of Tina is home of the Tina Livestock Auction. If your looking to buy or sell livestock, this is the place for you. Even if you just enjoy looking at the animals, you can stop in on a sale day.
Carrollton is a city nearby with restaurants to choose from that range from McDonalds to local establishments.
Carrollton also has many events throughout the year. Check out the City of Carrollton website for more information on dates for these events.
Chillicothe is another nearby city that is well know as the "Home of Sliced Bread." With a beautiful downtown area, you will find shopping and eating with local flare in this area.

This farmhouse has is located on a working farm where you'll see cows, a horse, barn cats and of course our dog Molly who is the only family member that resides on the property. The farm has beautiful views of the rolling hills and sunsets that you can enjoy at our fire pit or on the patio. The farm is 15 away from Bunch Hollow Conservation Area which is a great place to hunt, ride horses and explore.

OUR OWN RESTAURANT - Just down the road 5 miles and into Higginsville, is our very own restaurant, Red Shanty BBQ & Roadside Cafe, open Wed and Thurs, 11am to 9pm and Fri and Sat, 11am to 10pm (closes 1 hour earlier during the winter). The restaurant is available for dining in, taking out and catering.
