The day bed in the Living Room has a pop-up trundle. When opened up it's a King. There's also a TV there, with a few streaming channels pre-programmed- Hulu, Netflix, Peacock, and DISNEY+! Lots of board games and cards on the shelf for the occasional rainy day. I have a little library downstairs if you need a book!

Bedroom One has it's bathroom in the hall, with a shower/tub combo. TONS of towels. We also provide basics like shampoo, bodywash, even toothbrushes and toothpaste! The lamps in bedroom One have outlets for phone chargers.

Bedroom Two has the bath inside the room. Oddly, the sink is outside the bathroom (where shower and toilet are) in the bedroom window. There's an extendable mirror there! I added it as a shaving mirror, but I'm informed the magnifying side is GREAT for makeup.

There's a big yard, which you are welcome to use. There's off street parking for two cars available.

The neighborhood is quiet and safe, in Arabi- just outside Nola proper. Only MINUTES from all Nola has to offer, but SO much safer! There's a Police Station one block over.

There's entertainment everywhere! Great restaurants and clubs within easy distance- there's a live music venue, Pirogue's Whisky Bayou, just down the street! The restaurant inside is called Oscar. The chef, Melissa Araujo, is up for the James Beard BEST CHEF IN THE SOUTH award! She also has a restaurant called Alma a few minutes away in the Bywater. Just a bit further down is the Old Arabi Bar, which also has live music. Also in the Bywater is my other FAVORITE restaurant, Elizabeth's- a true taste of Nawlins! There's so much to do, there are lists, maps, and pamphlets for you in the unit. There's offstreet parking for 2 cars, and tons of street parking. No worries! The apartment was less than 15-20 mins from all of our destinations. Philip made sure we were comfortable the whole trip we definitely will be back and booking again soon!" - "Our host, Phil, could've be more accommodating. This was a 2 bedroom apartment and had plenty of space for 4 adults. There was a daybed in the living room we never used. The apartment was immaculate and artfully decorated. The kitchen was stocked with cooking items but we are out every night. Phil accommodated us with bubbly, toothbrushes, shampoo, body wash, coffee, and the paper goods. It was really appreciated until we got our sea legs. The area of Arabi was great. It was extremely safe in a residential neighborhood with parking available on site. Every restaurant we ate it, we all loved. If you like seafood, don't pass up the oysters at the Fiery Crab. It looks like a fast food place but don't let that deceive you. The crab rangoon was the best ever. The Kitchen had a fab steak and a jazz band for outside seating. Arabi is about 15 minutes outside of the French Quarter. It is an easy drive and we spent $31 for an Uber to the airport 25 minutes away. I would think an Uber would be less to the Qtr. Phil left us a list of local restaurants in Arabi and surrounding areas. I would def stay here again."

When you stay in Arabi, you can go enjoy all of the fun things that New Orleans has to offer, then you return to sleep in Arabi without any worries of someone breaking into your house or car. Also, you can safely walk the streets at night in this neighborhood. Don't take a chance. Have a crime free vacation by staying at this house!

This is a beautifully restored home four miles from the French Quarter. Very safe neighborhood. Plenty of Parking. Also, very close to a boat launch which offers the best fishing in the country. Stay an extra day or two. Bring a boat or charter a fishing captain and go fishing.

The house has 4 king beds. There are 4 full baths. We completed remodeling the house in January 2025. We have central air and heat and a washer/dryer in the house. The house has a nice porch. The front porch is a nice place to sit in the afternoons and watch the cruse liners, paddle boats and cargo ships go up and down the Mississippi river. This is Southern relaxation at it's best. The French Quarter is 10-15 minutes away.
