I will say that the room was clean with no smells, bugs, etc, but with it being a newly remodeled room in a current construction zone, the floors couldve been mopped srveral more times to get rid of the construction dirt and dust. However, I understand that its difficult with ongoing construction and it did not alter my review of the room or establishment. I traveled aline and I was not apprehensive of my surroundings at all and was impressed with the amount of security cameras and parking I would stay here again."

I’ve kept all the elements of a traditional, historic New Orleans home and furnished the space with this aesthetic in mind. These elements are combined with the modern convenience and comfort of custom furnishings, appliances, smart devices, electronics, and services. I offer extensive, high-quality amenities, family-oriented extras for children, safety and security features, and outdoor spaces for relaxation and fun.
My home was originally built in 1919 with many historic details kept intact since it's renovation. It is a type of two-address duplex with a layout called a "Shotgun" style home in New Orleans, also called a railroad or walk-through apartment in other regions. It is newly renovated and features 12 ft ceilings, crown molding, original hardwood floors, original brick fireplaces, mantels, original pocket doors, original transom windows, corbels, gas lanterns, stained glass, large windows, and plantation shutters. From the front porch you can see the tower of St. Mary's Assumption Church, and hear the bells chime on the hour in the distance.
Once inside, enjoy a parlor with multiple streaming entertainment platforms, full kitchen, office space, 2 bedrooms with queen size beds, a queen size pull-out sofa for different sleeping arrangements, 2 full bathrooms, shared front patio and backyard, Wi-Fi, hot tub, and central A/C and heat. I also have a pack n’ play, high chair, children’s dinnerware and bathroom amenities, safety latches and outlet covers. You can rest easy at night knowing that the property has 5 outdoor surveillance cameras, sensors on all doors and windows, indoor motion detector, and 24-hour monitoring service, as well as monthly pest control service. The home is also protected by a whole house, natural gas, generator in case of an electrical outage.
I welcome each reservation with fresh flowers, a welcome card, and a chilled bottle of champagne. I take pride in trying to include anything that a guest may need during their stay. I also constantly update what is available based on guest recommendations.
Other things to note,
I offer discounts on nightly rates, depending on the length of stay. There are no cleaning or extra guest fees. Discounts are reflected in the nightly rate you see at time of booking, depending on the details of your reservation.
My New Orleans Short-Term Rental license dictates that our maximum occupancy is 4 guests and that third-party bookings and parties/events are prohibited. Therefore, I require all reservations to confirm the identity of the primary guest (reservation holder) with a government issued photo ID at check-in before being granted access to the property. A copy of the ID will be made at this time for emergency purpose use with local law enforcement if needed. All areas of the platform profile must match the information on the ID. Failure to provide the proper ID, information not matching the profile, or having more than 4 guests total will result in being denied access. Charming, Comfy, Cozy, 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath condo located 10 minutes from the famous Downtown New Orleans and The French Quarter that never sleeps. Spacious living room, full kitchen, patio, washer & Dryer, and wifi. In bedroom 1, we have a comfy California king bed alongside a desk for working if you are here for a little business and a jacuzzi tub and shower for you to relax. Bedroom 2, has 1 queen bed and 1 full/double size bed, and a full-size bathroom as well.

Upon walking through the door, you notice the scent of an older home, but it's clear the residence has been nicely refurbished. The kitchen was modern, and the couch in the living room was very comfortable. There are three large TVs in the property (one in the living room and one in each bedroom). Each bedroom has its own full-size bath, with modern amenities and provided body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. The towels are plentiful and of nice quality, and the king-size beds are comfortable with nice bedding. Every room has a large ceiling fan, and the HVAC system cools the property well, even in the sweltering end-of-June heat. A washer and dryer, along with laundry detergent, are included in the residence. It was a short 15-minute Uber ride to the French Quart"

Our historic Irish Channel home has everything you would look for during your stay in New Orleans. Located just over 2 miles to the French Quarter, it is close to all you want to experience in New Orleans but also quiet enough to get a good night's sleep. The Irish Channel is a dynamic neighborhood full of beautiful architecture, award-winning restaurants and unique shopping.
The space
The space you are renting is part of a double home - we (the owners) live on the other side of the home and there is a shared wall. The apartment has it's own separate entrance from the owners unit, and has a perfect living room and open fully stocked kitchen downstairs, with the two bedrooms upstairs. The full bath has a stand up shower (no tub), and it and the half bath are both located downstairs. There is an AppleTV, Roku, and guests are welcome to sign into their personal streaming platforms. There is no traditional cable TV but there is very strong internet. There are pretty steep stairs to get up to the apartment as this is a historic New Orleans raised basement home. Guests should be able to physically climb stairs if they are going to be renting our space. Our home is family friendly and kids are welcome! There is no full tub, but a baby tub can be provided and used in the stand up shower with the hand washer. For older children who can stand you can easily use the hand sprayer to bathe them. A pack n play can be provided as well as sit me up seat and a swing.

- "Our long goodbye weekend as we moved our youngest to college was enhanced by our stay at this property. Besides authentic bayou balcony entry, a gated patio at back offered outdoor semi-private retreat. Multiple sleeping options, upstairs and downstairs, gave us room to keep separate schedules, and we could let the family dog roam beyond crate confinement by blocking the stairwell while we were out. We found four excellent restaurants within four blocks, three on Magazine Street and another on Jackson, and enjoyed the 8-10 block walk to the St. Charles streetcar line that delivered us to the French Quarter. Kickback management allowed us late checkout for a nominal fee (which may not have even been charged) when dorm move-in delayed us. The single setback in our stay was the fact that our RAM 1500 would not fit in the garage, but we unloaded the dorm contents to the space and parked in the driveway. Thanks for making our send-off superb!"

- "We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home with 2 bedrooms(king beds) and 2 bathrooms. Perfect for 2 couples traveling together since they were on separate floors giving you some space and privacy. Pictures are very accurate. There is a garage suitable for smaller vehicles, but there is also street parking in front of home if vehicle is larger like our truck. You are just a short walk to the st Charles streetcar and the beautiful historic Garden District homes. We found a nearby microbrewery Urban South that we enjoyed and there’s a Walmart a short distance away to purchase any groceries or necessities. Lots of restaurants nearby on Magazine St. Communication with owner was easy and smooth as well as check in and check out. We took the streetcar to get to French Quarter one day. $3 cash for all day pass. If we return to NOLA I would stay here again ."

- "I rented this place for me and my daughter who was getting married on Saturday. We stayed Friday night then on Saturday who bridal party and family showed up. It was a great place to get together before the big evening. Girls had makeup and hair done. Plenty of room lighting The girls really enjoyed there time together before ready. I have to say. I stay Saturday night by myself. Very safe. But after two long wedding days. The beds was the most comfortable beds I have slept in. This tired mom was grateful. Could’t ask for a better place. - "Great apartment for exploring New Orleans. Spacious. Clean. Since we are traveling with kids, we appreciated being in Garden District instead of the Quarter. Within walking distance to some restaurants on Magazine St. Street parking was not a problem. Short drive to area attractions: Tulane, WW2 museum, French Quarter. Apartment is on a fairly busy street but bedrooms are in the back so you do not hear street noise. You can hear some noise from the neighbors in unit above you, but it was not bad. Really appreciate that it is minimally (but well) decorated, so we had room for our belongings for example on the bedside tables, desk, bathroom counters and cabinets, etc. Great place to stay when exploring New Orleans."

Garden district home on a quiet street. There is a tenant that lives upstairs, and I live in the back apartment. This is a spacious apartment with 12-foot ceilings and lots of natural light. There is a large back deck you're welcome to enjoy. There is a washer and dryer in the unit and a full kitchen with all the things. Quiet neighborhood with kids that live across the street. One block off Magazine St with tons of restaurants and shops + coffee!
