- "Mike and Karen reached out via email and when we arrived nothing was too much trouble. We hired two of the cottages in early September for a family break and to explore the Peak District. The cottages are beautifully positioned giving you access to places like Bakewell, Chatsworth and Matlock. The cottages are close enough to pubs to stagger back and have loads of great walks from the front door. The cottages are all self contained with parking and are nicely appointed providing you with everything you might need whilst away from home, although I’m pretty sure Mike and Karen would do their best to help if you had a request. We had a really nice time and will visit again, these cottages are a delightful base in one of the most stunning parts of England, with so much to do on your doorstep. We had Tawny Barn Owl and Pigsty, our tip would be to hire the hot tub, very nice in the evening. We have no hesitation in recommending these cottages and look forward to our next stay.
