The dinner the night before was a touch disappointing. The veggie sausage and mash used the same cheap vegan sausage used for the breakfast, which we're not appropriate for a hearty evening meal. This is not the fault of the chef or pub team but a poor choice by the menu development chef at head office. Other than suggesting you look a little further afield for dinner, I'd recommend the G&C for a short stay in the Derbyshire Dales. The team made us feel welcome here."
