Our shepherds hut is a little more special than just normal self-catering accommodation. When you arrive we supply a welcome pack of eggs, bread, milk, home made butter, freshly made brownies and marshmallows for toasting on the open fire pit, which is outside on your own private patio.

We include robes, towels, bedding, cleaning products, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and face wipes (for the spa). There is also a hair dryer in the hut. Outside we have both a gas BBQ and a fire pit to cook on and, of course, your very own hydrotherapy spa. This is for you to use whenever you want and it’s right outside your door! We also have a fab log burner in the hut and supply a welcome pack of logs for that.

Private dining at the Snug (subject to availability)
If you want to make it extra special we also have our beautiful little snug that can be hired separately, lit by candle light and sparkling lights, a warm toasty fire her you can have an sharing platter burger board or breakfast it’s a perfect cosy corner for listening to music playing cards or just relaxing next to the fire. We don’t have an alcohol license so your welcome to bring your own

Free Parking is available. There is a 30 metre path from the parking space to the entrance of The Wilding. Due to the nature of the cabin, there is a step to gain access to the cabin.

Birch Pod, escape to tranquillity in our charming and unique Mezzanine Pod. Nestled in the tranquil countryside yet on the edge of Town, this cosy retreat comfortably sleeps 4 guests, offering outdoor adventure & modern comfort. Unwind surrounded by nature without sacrificing luxury, experience the thrill of camping with comfortable beds, electric, and thoughtful amenities.

The space
Birch Pod is the middle cabin between our Apple & Cherry pods, so it's a short walk with your luggage. It's modern yet rustic and has all the amenities required for a relaxing stay in The Peak District.

All towels and Linens are included plus soap, shampoo, washing up essentials, condiments, utensils, pots and pans, our pods are well equipped. just bring yourselves, your clothing and personal bits and pieces .

As you approach the cabin along the Tree trunk gravel path you will see a large, raised decked area accessed by 3 steps and is a great space to sit and relax on the patio furniture provided.
Entering the pod through the round glass doors you will be greeted on the right by a comfortable sofa, above this is what looks like a Van Gough painting, but is actually an infrared heater to keep you cosy on cooler nights. On the left is the flat screen TV & circular table with 4 seats for dining or fun family games
At the back of the cabin & to the right is the comfortable double bed and and open wardrobe & next to this is the WC, sink & shower cubicle.
On left of the cabin is the well equipped kitchen area and rustic shelves.
Now - up to the large mezzanine level via the Tree Trunk stairs, where you will find 2 single beds which can be pushed together to create a super-king sized bed (upon request) and a port hole window so you can gaze out at the surrounding trees & fields.
Finally - the East facing aspect of the large, round patio doors that lead to the decked area, frame the wonderful valley and hillside views in the distance.

The 3 Trees Glamping site has shared areas, such as the complimentary parking and grassed areas

Other things to note
The hand made Tree Trunk staircase is quite narrow, steep & winding with open treads so may not be suitable for those with mobility issues and small children MUST be supervised when using the stairs. There is a low gard rail at the top, for safety do not lean on or over it or swing off it.

Also, in our adjoining field there is a large pond, although this is not part of the 3 Trees Glamping site we would ask that you are aware of this and supervise children during your stay.

We are in an area where light pollution is monitored closely, so it can get quite dark, there are low level solar lights around the site, however you may want to bring a good torch or head torches with you.

Our lovely home has been hand built by us with lots of bespoke features. Located in its own section of private woodland, the cabin has a wood fired hot tub, 3 bedrooms (one en-suite), a bathroom, balcony to master, spacious open plan downstairs living area with kitchen and dining space, downstairs WC and cloakroom. The woodland setting offers a private getaway with outdoor seating areas. From £52 per night per person based on 6 guests. One wee pet welcome
