- "We had a wonderful time. The property was fantastic and the location was great. Lots of room for our big group. The game room was a huge hit." - "We stayed for a week in early August as four generations gathered to relax. My parents, my wife and I, three of our four kids with significant others / spouses, and our 3 week old Grand Baby! We celebrated a 50th Birthday (my wife), a 52nd Anniversary (my parents), and experienced a major life event when my daughter's boyfriend proposed at the campfire (Wedding will be in 2025). Not to mention lot's of time spent cuddling the new baby! We loved the place. With three queen beds, the daybed in the basement, and four trundle beds available, we had ample sleeping accommodations. The garage was a great place to hang out and play pool, play board games, play darts, and generally hang out. The back porch was a peaceful respite throughout the day, and some of us painted with watercolors. The firepit in the back yard was our normal hangout spot each night with only one night rained out. This place is big enough where you can separate into groups and hang out in the basement, the garage, the front room / kitchen area, the back deck, or out by the pier. Unfortunately the Reservoir levels had receded so we could not rent a Pontoon boat, but that also meant a very quiet week by the water with very little boating traffic. We really enjoyed ourselves and had a fun week! If you have a larger group, this is a great place!"

Winter activities are everywhere! We are 40 min from Granite Peak where you can downhill ski for the day or relax in the beautiful lodge by the fireplace, 1 mile from county snowmobile trails, and 15 min from Powers Bluff snow tubing.
Spring and summer you can be near three top ranked golf courses in the country. 25 minutes from Sentry World in Stevens Point and 40 min from Sand Valley Resort which has two premier courses. Only 25 minutes from Lake Dubay which is great for summer water sports or fishing.
Please note for allergies: As the owners, we have two Labrador retrievers that we bring with us to the cabin. The dogs are mostly outside and kept in cages at night.

The beds were comfortable and linens very nice. The kitchen appliances were top notch. - "It was easy to get into the rental, the property manager was super great at sending an intro text about the rules of the property and check out expectations. The only negative and the reason for not giving a 5 star on the cleanliness of the rental is they wanted us to remove our shoes in the foyer, no big deal, we do this in our own home but we have carpet, regardless we all noticed that the bottoms of our feet or socks were dirty so we don't go to bed with dirty feet, not a big deal but if you request your guests to remove their shoes then please make sure the floors are at least mopped to prevent dirtiness going on to the beds :) Other than that, the rental is in a great location near downtown Marshfield and is in a neighborhood, the pictures on VRBO are very accurate, very beautiful home, larger than what we expected but great overall b/c it does have a queen bedroom downstairs with another living room area / game room. The lawn was nicely done and fairly large backyard to enjoy, We enjoyed ourselves, if we ever decide to go back to Wisconsin then we will definitely be looking to see if this property is open for renting! - "I rented this spot for four college friends to reunite after 23 yrs with out kids. All parties had to drive over 4 hrs to meet in the middle. With google maps this location was easy to find. The neighborhood was friendly and quiet. We kayaked, used the hot tub, outdoor fire pit, played yard games, and are on the outside table. Be sure to bring fishing poles as you can hear the fish jumping out of the water throughout the day! We visited the Marshfield Zoo and Mullins Cheese for short day trips(30min). We ate all our meals in the cabin and had all the items needed. The hosts were great to work with and were fast at replying to my questions. We would stay here again hands down! Thank you!"
