Home is cedar chalet on both outside and inside wood paneling; 3 bedrooms and 1.5 bath and a fantastic deck with eating area. Clean and comfortably furnished with all the necessities; WIFI and basic cable provided in home (cell phone reception is great as well). On 7 wooded acres with a nice yard and a newly installed blue-stone patio and fire-pit. Surrounding our home on three sides is woods (much of it forever wild woods) and to the back of the house is a large open field and beyond it is the only home visible from ours about 500 or more yards away.

Cozy 2 bedroom cabin in the woods with beautiful mountain views! Less than 2.5 hours from NYC and only 10 min to Belleayre skiing (and lake swimming in the summer) and Spillian venue. Open plan kitchen / dining area that leads into the living room with a warm wood stove. Plenty of sunlight from several windows and the sliding glass doors leading onto the outdoor deck. Two bedrooms in the back of the house along with a full bath. Walkout basement (unfinished) has a second full bath.

The cabin is close to the charming towns of Margaretville, Andes, Phoenicia, and Woodstock with great restaurants, local shops, vintage & thrift stores, and galleries. We are optimally located for skiing at Belleayre (less than 10 minute drive door to door) as well as the famous Hunter and Windham resorts.

House is at the top of a hill at the end of a longish gravel driveway. My front-wheel drive sedan has no problem getting up the hill even after light snowfall, and the driveway is plowed when there is major snow. We are currently renovating the cabin and so some rooms are more updated than others. Additionally, we have security cameras outside the house monitoring the driveway and entrances. There are NO cameras inside the house.

Welcome to Ollies House, named after the love for my rescue pup Oliver. Situated on 5 peaceful and private acres. The home is newly renovated and furnished, featuring an indoor wood burning fireplace, 3 br and 2 ba. Ollies House is a great choice for those looking to be active or enjoy a staycation. Located in the heart of the Catskills the house is minutes from Belleayre and 35 mins to Hunter. Situated between Margaretville and Phoenicia with tons of things to do in the area.

The house has undergone recent renovations and was recently furnished giving it a current and tranquil design. Almost all the items inside are brand new and modern (mostly West Elm and Crate & Barrel) including the silverware and dishware. The house has been thoughtfully stocked with all of the essentials for a home away from home (plates, cups, wine glasses, cooking essentials etc). High end linens, towels, sheets, and pillows are all provided. Toiletries are also provided (toothpaste, shampoo, soap etc).

This house faces East/West therefore it gets amazing sun all day! There are plenty of windows so the house feels light, bright, and airy. It is equipped with blazing fast internet (fiber optic 200mbps+) and full cell service for those that are WFH and cannot fully disconnect. Split unit A/C unit was installed so there is no issue on those hot summer days. For those looking to relax, build a fire and start streaming on the flat screen, play one of the board games provided, or take a walk down the road to Cody’s Sugar Shack (mentioned in my tailored guide).

A gas grill is available for your use as well as a fire pit and Adirondack chairs in the backyard. Everything you would need to cook and serve is included. The goal of this home was to create a luxurious boutique hotel-like experience. For those into nature, great wildlife is right outside of your window and even better stargazing on clear nights! The house feels remote enough but you're only a few minutes to grocery stores, coffee shops, restaurants (some of the best in the Catskills) and even a distillery with award winning local Vodka! Finally, don’t forget to walk down the road for fresh eggs / produce from my neighbors working farm in the mornings. The eggs are laid the night before-- farm to table at its finest! Take a coffee to the deck, and watch the sunrise over the panoramic views opposite of Belleayre and Slide Mountain to the East.

After a day's hiking/skiing or simply relaxing, enjoy outdoor grilling, watching the stars from the hot tub, or simply curl up in front of the log fire or 4K projector in the movie room.

The space

Private but not isolated, our spacious cedar-sided home has lovely views of the Belleayre slopes as well as views of the high peaks.

The main living space features an open floor plan with a well equipped kitchen including custom kitchen cabinets, a breakfast bar, induction range, dishwasher and SMEG appliances (kettle, toaster and coffee machine).

We have a large dining table that comfortably sits 8 and opens to the wraparound deck through sliding doors. You'll find plenty of al fresco seating, a Weber grill and lounge chairs to take in the best of the area; from stargazing with our telescope to taking in the unmistakable Catskills air.

Our custom-pine cathedral ceilinged living room has a stone-faced fireplace and a wall of windows facing the mountain views. We have a comfy set of couches and a large coffee/gaming table with ample puzzles, games and books.

There are also 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on this level. The Primary King bedroom has a spacious en suite bathroom with oversized shower and a slider out to the deck featuring mountain views from bed. The second is a Queen bedroom.

Downstairs there is a large family/movie room (with 4K Projector / AppleTV and Sonos surround sound) with extensive windows and a wood burning stove.

There are also two more Queen bedrooms, one with a slider to the outside - both generous in size - they share another full bath with a tub/shower combo. Our laundry/mud room is also on this floor and takes you out to the insulated garage - a convenience you will enjoy, especially in the winter.

Lastly have some fun outside the property and enjoy our hot tub, tire swing or reconditioned Belleayre chair lift swing all year round - and in the winter get involved with snowshoeing the grounds/walkable local trails and sledding down our brilliantly steep hill.

Our character rich 1910 Upstate Farmhouse is set back from the road just over the bridge at the babbling BushKill stream. This private home boasts a hidden woodland uphill trail behind the sprawling lawn. Perched above a stream that flows into the East Branch Delaware River, Blue Bell Knoll is a relaxing retreat located in a small, historic village surrounded by Catskill Park. The historic house has recently been updated with modern conveniences including a Sonos sound system, Nordic hot tub, washer and dryer, midcentury furnishings and a newly gut renovated kitchen and bathroom. The Victorian style cottage was built in 1930 during a boom of seasonal tourism that swelled in summer months. It is approximately 950 sq feet of interior space and the perfect size for a couple or small group of friends. Every season is unique. Summers are a buzz of wildlife and chirping birds that give way to a blanket of quiet snow in winter. Summer nights are cool, practically eliminating the need for air conditioning. There is air conditioning on the first floor and primary bedroom. The secondary bedroom can get warm during the day during peak summer weeks, but cools down into the 60's at night with the aid of the double window fan that is installed. Winter weather is perfect for snow skiing and cozying up to the wood pellet stove with a cup of hot cocoa.

This house is perfect for adults, couples and older children. The staircase is rather steep and there are also quite a few steps from the parking area to the house. With that said it isn't ideal for elderly, young children or people with disabilities.

Getting Around:
Emory Brook Lodge is 2.5 hours from New York City. There is a convenient bus stop just across the road in the village so you can access the home without a car, but you'll definitely want a car to get around the area. In the winter, we recommend a car with four-wheel drive that can handle the snow and gravel roads. Hop in the car and enjoy driving the scenic, quiet roads around Belleayre Mountain. Parking is in front of the garage and/or underneath the house.

Other Things to Note:
For safety reasons, it's important to note that our home is not child-proof–we do not supply cribs, highchairs, changing tables, and similar items. We do not advise the accommodation for children below the age of 12. If you intend to bring infants or children, please notify us at the time of booking.

- "We were in the area for some family business and took two other couples with us for a quick getaway from Florida and North Carolina. The lodge is as advertised, and then some. The scenery is beautiful, it's very quiet and private yet close enough to walk to Sam's across the street and into town. The amenities are great, especially for those who enjoy cooking (that central dining table is awesome for larger groups like ours). Rated five stars because six wasn't an option. Would definitely do it again."

This charming artist-owned farmhand house from c. 1900 on 2 acres of beautiful land, is situated just 15 minutes from Belleayre and 40 minutes from Hunter and Plattekill mountains. It's 20 minutes from great fishing on the east branch of the Delaware in Margaretville.

The home is located in a remote bucolic setting near the village of Fleischmanns. The house is perfect for weekend or week long getaways to the Catskills to hike, ski, fish and relax. With a sunny large well equipped kitchen, fabulous garden, stone patio with grill and fire pit, deck and surround porch, it's a wonderful place to cook, host and lounge with a book.

The home is rustic modern, it’s not a hotel or a new development. There’s central heating and a wood stove to supplement the heat but it can be chilly, in winter we bundle up, wear sweaters, slippers, etc. There is a washing machine and dryer in the basement. There is no TV, but we have WiFi for watching movies on your computer. We are dog friendly and welcome non-destructive pets!

- "Great house on multiple acres of property surrounded by woods. Multiple bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped and very functional with an island. When we cooked we could find whatever we looked for, even less common things like vegetable peelers. It's far enough away from the town that you forget it's there but close enough if you need something. The porch was great since part of it is open and part is covered and it has a table with chairs under the covered part and more chairs and a small table on the open part so it's good rain or shine. Really enjoyed our stay there. Definitely worth 5 stars."
