However it rained like a monsoon and limited what we were able to do. If the kids had not loved the home so much I would not have been able to accommodate our activities. 1 concern is the stove top light was flickering and I made sure the burners were off. The back right burner was warm to the touch. Might be a potential fire hazard. Trash was overflowing in excess upon arrival. . We made sure it was taken out as instructed. This prop should be respected as it is beautiful in so many ways!"

Beautiful view over looking the golf course and miles around. Not a golfer it's just 5 mins from the lake. There is other things to do miniature golf, horseback riding, fishing, and folk centers just to mention a few all is just a short drive away.

- "It was a very nice house and was clean. We enjoyed staying there. We watch the ducks on the lake was awesome. It was just the right size for our family of 6. and there was room for more. Thanks. We will be staying there again." - "Our whole crew went for Thanksgiving on the lake. Whatever issue we had the host was very responsive and helpful. There are two bedrooms upstairs with two full baths. Downstairs is a bedroom that opens out on a porch and then there’s another bedroom with no windows. That particular room has a queen and 3 single beds. There is one full bathroom down there as well. There’s an additional living room down there as well. Amenities is a propane fireplace in the main living room. We never found any thermostat or temp regulator downstairs but naturally the downstairs was way cooler than upstairs. There are 2 large screen TVs however there is NO CABLE nor SATELLITE service for watching TV. There is however excellent WIFI with Roku apps. If you want live TV (sports / news) you’ll have to log in to one if your own accounts to do that. We were able to just that to watch out football games. I don’t think it’s that big of a deal especially in the Summer as you’ll likely be out on the water most of the time. There is a local pizza place and it does deliver pizza to the house. Overall 5 stars!"

- "We had a fantastic stay! Our group included my husband and I, our kids, my mother, and two of our friends and their kids (5 adults plus children ages 3-9). Each one of us had a wonderful time. We visited during the busy, popular 2024 eclipse time and spent an extended weekend relaxing and enjoying the lake view from the sunroom, the pier, the fire circle (perfect eclipse viewing spot!), and the back porch. The kids played foosball, collected sticks for our fire, played with games/books that were provided with the house. (Kayaks were provided but we did not take them out because we had young non-swimming kids.) We were the first guests to stay at this beautiful and newly renovated house. As such, there were a few very minor things that we had to ask the host about (for example, we didn’t see instructions for how to use the dry sauna). Each time we contacted the host, they were very responsive, friendly, and prompt. OzarkStays went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. We cooked all meals at the house in the fully stocked kitchen. I was pleasantly surprised to find a few extras beyond the basics (e.g., garlic powder, cooking oil, ziploc bags, kids dishes/utensils). I was also pleasantly surprised that a Walmart was close by to what seemed like a secluded, remote vacation home, but it turned out we never needed to shop because the house had everything we needed. Our entire group has vowed to return again soon! It was a great experience all-around."

Nestled in a peaceful residential neighborhood, the cottage is within a very short walking distance of Crown Lake Pier and Park, and is only a few minutes drive to restaurants, grocery and general stores, Boxhound Marina, Crown Lake Resort and Aqua Park, and Turkey Mountain Golf Course.
The cottage sits on a large property with another vacation home, lush greenery and mature trees, providing a serene setting for relaxing or for watching the many native birds that make the region their home and other birds that are passing through on a popular migratory path.
The back deck includes a charcoal grill and comfortable bistro set for relaxing with a beverage while grilling and enjoying the lake view with its beautiful sunsets and happy little ducks. - "Overall very happy, yard has not been kept up very well. I don't feel the property owners would be happy with the way it looks. " - "Very private and beautiful sunrise view over the lake. Birdlife in August was spectacular. Air conditioning was great. Bed is comfy. I don't like air fresheners but there was only one and we put it outdoors. Wasn't any actual coffee supplied but the grocery store is two minutes away. The coffee maker and tea pot were great."
