Our cabin is located on the bluff overlooking the White River. Enjoy morning coffee on the deck in the midst of the river fog or relax in a lounge chair and watch the sun set. The interior of the cabin features great views from the living/dining area, master bedroom, and kitchen. The cabin has three bedrooms - two with king-sized beds and one with two twins. The master bedroom has an en suite.

WiFi is included. There are no accesss points to the river from the river side of our property. You can not walk to the river because we are on a bluff. River access from our cabin is available by driving approximately 1 mile by turning left or right out of our driveway.

One exterior security camera over the front door. Maximum of 6 total guests, including all adults, children, and infants. Additional charges will apply for all extra guests after the first 2. Contact Vicki immediately if the number of guest changes after booking. No pets allowed.

This 3 bedroom home has TONS of space. The main floor makes for an incredible gathering space. It is very large and open. The Kitchen has a fantastic gas stove with electric oven. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook for your family and friends. Relax outside under the covered deck that wraps around the entire house! There are plenty of chairs and comfortable outdoor furniture. There is a second family area downstairs with it's own den with a hot tub just steps away.
This property is super close to the heart of downtown yet very private. Explore the property towards the White River. At the bluff there there are fantastic views of the river! While there is no direct access to the river, access and bank fishing are less than a mile away.

We fished twice with Jenkins at the dock, once with Tim as our guide and once renting a boat—-catching 36 rainbow trout! Within a short distance one can visit Ozark Craft State Park, a cool dulcimer factory and shop, Blanchard Cavern and spring, Rush ghost town, Northfork Lake, and much more. He cabin sits outside of town and is very quiet; we loved our time here❤️"

This beautiful home has everything you could ever want for the ultimate vacation and get away. It is located on the White River which offers world class trout fishing year round. It is in the middle of the national forest, in a very small subdivision along the river.

*The cabin is located down a 3 or 8 mile gravel road, depending on which direction you come in from.

*We do encourage guests to buy groceries before coming to the cabin.

*The nightly rate up to 4 people is $250. For each person after four there is an additional $30 per person per night fee. There is a 15% discount if the stay is 7 or more nights.

*Pets are allowed only with prior approval. If approved, there is a $50/dog fee with only 2 small dogs allowed. Dogs will need to be kenneled if left unattended.

*The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials to make a meal except the food! (Crock pot, air fryer, hand mixer, electric griddle) There is both a 12 cup coffee maker and a Keurig.
*Coffee and filters are both available to guests. At the moment, the ice maker is broken and guests will need to bring ice if they want any.

*A charcoal grill is provided. Guests will need to supply charcoal if they intend to use it

*Firewood is provided to enjoy a campfire in the firepit located in the back yard overlooking the river.

*We provide: paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, Folgers coffee, coffee filters, laundry detergent, basic cleaning supplies, dishwashing tabs/soap, hand soap. Basic spices are left from previous guests. *We do not provide body soap or shampoo/conditioner,

*The main house has 2 levels, the upstairs has a master bedroom and bath, fully furnished kitchen with bar seating, living room with 75 inch TV, small dining table, gas fireplace, 1/2 bathroom, and a large deck outside with rocking chairs and a table with chairs to enjoy the view!

*Downstairs has another living area with large sectional couch, fireplace, TV, bar area with sink, refrigerator and ice maker, 2 bedrooms (one with a queen bed, and other has 2 twin beds) and a full bath.

*The sliding glass door goes out to a large deck that overlooks the river, as well as a fire pit for those chilly nights. Music can be Bluetoothed to an outdoor sound system.

*Newly added stone stairs make an easy access to walk down to get to the river bank. Children will need to be supervised at all times when by the river.

*Also, there is a deck that is over the water. Chairs are available to enjoy the view while on the deck. Boats can tie up to poles in the river. We do not recommend keeping a boat tied up overnight because the river level can change quickly.

*There is a large bunk room over the garage (that can be accessed only with 5 or more guests and additional fee). It includes a large bedroom with queen bed, a queen bed in common area and 3 smaller rooms with a total of 5 twin beds, and a full bathroom. This area sleeps an additional 9 guests with the added fee.

*Guests have access to a separate laundry room. It has 2 washers, 2 dryers and laundry detergent.

*Cell service is very limited and there is not a landline at the house. You are able to text and call and stream movies through high speed fiber optic internet. We do not provide a streaming service. Basic cable is not available in this area. WIFI calling will need to be enabled on a cell phone to make phone calls

HOUSE RULES:
*Pets are allowed only with prior approval. If approved, there is a $50/dog fee with only 2 small dogs allowed. Dogs will need to be kenneled if left unattended.

*NO EVENTS OR LARGE GATHERINGS ARE PERMITTED. Only the number of guests may be on the property unless there is prior approval.

*FYI-YARD MAINTENCE IS DONE BY AN OUTSIDE COMPANY ON NO PRATICULAR DAY. They are authorized to be there and guests CANNOT request for them to not mow.

*No vehicles are permitted to be driven down to the river bank

*No firearms can be discarded on property
*Garage is NOT available for use.

*There are 2 security cameras. One is above the door to the main house and one that looks out to the river bank. Both are for security reasons.

*The area offers an abundance of things to do. The White River offers world class fishing!

*There is a boat ramp 300 yards from the house if you want to bring your own boat. There are local guides that will pick you up on the cabin’s riverbank if you prefer!

*Kayaking is very popular, with rental places close by.
Calico Rock and Norfork are very small towns with a quaint downtown area, and a small grocery store for any basic items you might need.

*Mountain View is a wonderful town to visit, with Blanchard Springs Caverns, The Folk Center, Loco Ropes, horse back riding, biking and hiking trails. The downtown square has great folk music and fun. It is approximately a 30-40 minute drive through the National Forest.

*There are several waterfalls close by as well as several hiking trails through the National Forest. There are excellent back roads for ATV's, you can go forever and never see a person!!

*Mountain Home is a 30-40 minute drive and offers shopping and numerous restaurants, churches, hospital, movies and just about anything you would need.

*Norfork lake is approx. 20 minutes away and several docks have pontoon and jet ski rentals.

*The Buffalo National Park and River are close and a trip down the Buffalo is always a treat, as well as a view of the Arkansas elk herd.

Come stay in this recently renovated cabin in beautiful Calico Rock, Arkansas. This two bedroom one bath cabin has everything you need to relax and enjoy everything this historical town has to offer. There is a smart TV, a DVD player and free WIFI for your indoor entertainment. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need, minus the groceries. There are two charcoal grills if you want to cook outside. If cooking isn't for you, we are just one block from downtown where you will find restaurants such as the Printing Press Cafe, Riverside Pizza and Between the Buns diner. There is a museum and the famous Ghost Town,​ Peppersauce Alley, you can tour on your visit. If trout fishing is what you have in mind, the beautiful world-renowned​​ White River is just where you need to be! Our cabin is 1/4 mile from Calico Rock river access and less than 4 miles from Chessmond Ferry Access. There are three boat docks to choose from at these accesses if you want to rent a boat, hire a guide, or just gas up your own boat! Calico Rock is located in the Ozark Mountains between Mountain View and Mountain Home, where there are many attractions as well. Lake Norfork is also less than 14 miles away if you prefer being on the lake.
Whatever you decide to do while your here, our cabin is the perfect place to begin each day with a cup of coffee rocking on the wrap around porch, or standing around the fire pit in the evening making s'mores after a fun filled day! Come stay with us, you are sure to have a great time!

The Cottage was built in 1921 and lovingly renovated using reclaimed wood from the barn that formerly stood in the property.

The Shoals Lodge is a duplex-style cabin with two separate units that can be rented together. Bring the family or the fishing buddies, there is room for everyone! One side is 4 bdrm 2 bath (The Brown Cabin) and the other side is 2 bedroom 1 bath (The Rainbow Cabin). The new bunkroom offers another sitting area and sleeps 5.When the entire lodge is rented you have two living areas and two kitchens. The lodge has a large deck that spans the entire backside overlooking 300 ft of amazing White River frontage with some of the best views on the river! Each cabin has its own screened porch with an open deck area connecting the two cabins. Cozy up by the firepit, nap in the hammock, or just sit and watch the river roll by! 6 bedrooms total with 3 kings, 2 queens, 2 full, 3 twins, 1 twin trundle that expands to a king and 2 twin rollaway beds. You can sleep 19 total with all the beds!

The price listed is for 4 people. There is an additional person charge of $75 per person per night. There are 4 bedroom with king beds, and additional blow up beds have been used in the large bonus room and are available upon request. This is a magnificent stone and cedar home on the White River with a private dock. You can grill your fresh catch on the stainless steel gas grill on the large deck which faces the river. Enjoy a dining table outside, relax on the comfortable outdoor seating, take a nap on one of the loungers on the deck, or even better.. relax on a lounger on the dock right on the river! Select your favorite music from the satellite music channels or blue tooth your own tunes and turn up the sound system inside or out. Listen for the steam engine train which passes the house each day along the bluff on the far side of the river. Take a stroll down to the river and relax on the dock, or walk along the one of a kind retaining wall system with steps right down to the river. You will enjoy an inviting kitchen with all stainless appliances, a large granite island which seats 4 and an ample dining table which seats 10 easily. The 20 foot ceiling in the great room provides a breathtaking view of the river through floor to ceiling windows. You can open the French door in both the main living area and kitchen to enjoy a cool breeze off of the river while plunking out your favorite tunes on the mahogany upright piano. A large plasma HDTV with professionally installed surround sound in the comfortable family room is easily viewed from the kitchen while preparing your next meal. There is a gas fireplace in the family room for those chilly nights. The large bonus room upstairs is equipped with another large plasma HDTV. Both systems have state of the art DVD players on which you can enjoy movies from a large DVD collection.
The house has two master suites and two large bedrooms. Each master has a large bathroom with granite double vanity, over sized soaking tub, separate walk in shower with seating and separate toilet area. The second floor master has a large plasma TV with sound system integrated throughout the suite including the bathroom, there is an electric ribbon fireplace flush mount below the TV. The first floor master has direct access to the deck through French doors. The two family bedrooms share a bath adjacent to the second floor laundry room. If you feel like a work out, the house has a professional grade elliptical trainer, weights, and treadmill. If you need to get some work done, the house is equipped with high speed wireless internet. There are 2 monitors, a docking station and printer.
The house is in a remote area, in the middle of the Sylamore Wildlife Management Area. Access does include a couple of miles of well maintained gravel road. This is a very small subdivision along the river, very quiet and peaceful. It is not unusual to see the small herd of local deer wander through, see the eagle family that has a nest just upriver, or see some of the many little animals that fish in the river. The White River offers world class trout fishing, and many trophy trout have been caught and released close to the house. It is approximately a 20 minute drive to Calico Rock, or 35 minutes to Mountain Home.

This home has it all. Newly built and newly furnished, it has much to be enjoyed inside and out. The focus of the house is the gorgeous mountains and lake with large windows and loads of natural light. Echoing this focus, the Great Room with a brand new kitchen, is bonused by an extra extra long dining table, two cozy sitting nooks and gas logs for the colder months. Also on the ground level with the Master Bedroom are two additional queen bedrooms adorned with sunlight and gorgeous views.

A large screen TV, luxurious leather couches and the fireplace make the downstairs living area perfect for the days you just want to 'hang.' The open concept of the basement includes a sizable bar and food prep kitchen with a refrigerator. This is the perfect space to enjoy spreading out while never but a step or two away from the mountain views. Also downstairs are the washer, dryer and the bunk room.

To further spread out, our top floor is perfectly isolated for additional privacy. It has its own outside entrance and balcony to the great room. This suite also has its own private outside balcony and outside porch perfectly suited for the Ozark’s stunning sunsets and the echoes of the neighborhood’s owls and eagles.

This neighborhood is spread out, quiet and respectful. With your booking we ask you to be likewise. We love our neighborhood and love our neighbors, so in respect of this, we do not invite or allow large parties or late night outside disruptive conduct. A hike around the neighborhood can be somewhat vigorous with the hills, but it’s a perfect way to start your morning. This area, like much of Arkansas, is laced with hiking trails and biking trails and the perfect way to revive the soul while doing what you love. If the Lake is your jam, Quarry Park is 3.5 miles and a lovely spot for paddle boarding or swimming. The Brown Cabin is a 4 bedroom, 2 bath duplex-style cabin with an open-concept living, dining, and fully equipped kitchen. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and sliding glass doors leading to the open deck and an amazing view of the river. The master bath has a tub/shower combination and dual sinks. The second bedroom has a queen bed with french doors going out to the screened-in porch and beautiful river views. The third bedroom has 2 full beds and a tv. We have added a bunkroom with 3 twin-size beds and a twin-size trundle bed that expands to a king. Custom live edge cedar headboards and custom cedar dressers/chests in each bedroom. Enjoy the river views from the screened-in porch with a fire pit, patio furniture, dining table, and hammock. The porch leads to a large open deck with a grill and there is a fire pit in the yard. The entire lodge can be rented by booking The Shoals Lodge which will include the Rainbow 2-bedroom cabin.

- "Great place to go for hiking, fishing, shopping, central to many historic/scenic sites. The nearby(short short walk) town has a great museum and several quant shops and the people are all friendly and helpful. The town even has a "speak easy" that you must visit and have a laugh with the great staff. Our host Brian and Christa have a wonderful place in the middle of Peppersauce Ghost Town and are great and informative host. Upon our arrival we were greeted with fruits and snacks, this was greatly appreciated because of our late arrival and long drive. It is full of antique furniture, pictures and various items that make it a unique and a cozy place to stay. It also has a nice area in back for gathering and a fire pit. We didn't feel the presence of any ghost, they were probably resting up for Halloween which was 2 days after we left, but you never know when they might show their presence. I will recommend this place to stay to all my family and friends that want a nice, quiet and roomy place to stay and have adventures."

Gather with your family or multiple families at this 3 bed, 2.5 bath rental! 2500+ square feet. This home sits on 10 acres and is approximately 1 mile from Jordan Boat Dock. Cozy up next to the fireplace or take a relaxing bath in the master bathroom under a luxurious chandelier. Enjoy the back decks and grill out for the family or take them to eat at one of the many restaurants within a 15 minute drive. Peace and quiet like you have never before experienced!

There was plenty of room for us to spread out and relax. The water was too high for beaches or shoreline walking, so we were thankful the house was so nice as we spent more time there than we anticipated. We enjoyed the proximity to Jordan Marina and also the nearby restaurant, especially at sunset! It was a perfect get away and if we ever make it back to the area, we will definitely try to book this same house."
