Our cabin is located on the bluff overlooking the White River. Enjoy morning coffee on the deck in the midst of the river fog or relax in a lounge chair and watch the sun set. The interior of the cabin features great views from the living/dining area, master bedroom, and kitchen. The cabin has three bedrooms - two with king-sized beds and one with two twins. The master bedroom has an en suite.

WiFi is included. There are no accesss points to the river from the river side of our property. You can not walk to the river because we are on a bluff. River access from our cabin is available by driving approximately 1 mile by turning left or right out of our driveway.

This 3 bedroom home has TONS of space. The main floor makes for an incredible gathering space. It is very large and open. The Kitchen has a fantastic gas stove with electric oven. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook for your family and friends. Relax outside under the covered deck that wraps around the entire house! There are plenty of chairs and comfortable outdoor furniture. There is a second family area downstairs with it's own den with a hot tub just steps away.
This property is super close to the heart of downtown yet very private. Explore the property towards the White River. At the bluff there there are fantastic views of the river! While there is no direct access to the river, access and bank fishing are less than a mile away.

We fished twice with Jenkins at the dock, once with Tim as our guide and once renting a boat—-catching 36 rainbow trout! Within a short distance one can visit Ozark Craft State Park, a cool dulcimer factory and shop, Blanchard Cavern and spring, Rush ghost town, Northfork Lake, and much more. He cabin sits outside of town and is very quiet; we loved our time here❤️"

Down by the river we have an additional deck where the temperature drops by at least 10 degrees and affords an even better view of the cliffs and the river. This beautiful cabin has a brand new interior with hardwood floors and all appliances. The ceiling is vaulted with ceiling fans and has central heat/air. There are only four total cabins on Mullett's Landing--the cabin is down a private road which is accessed behind a locked gate. There are lots of wildlife on the property, and the cabin has views of the bluffs on one side with the White River on the other. The river is cold, clean, and excellent for fishing. Please Note: Swimming is not recommended, and property owners are not responsible for accidents. Due to fluctuating river levels, some areas on the bank are steep and fishing off of them is not suitable, however, the local boat dock is within walking distance and has quaint little fishing spots. Kayak and boat rentals are also available nearby.

Lake Norfork is about 25 miles north of Calico Rock. Or if you travel south, you will discover Mountain View which is the Folk Music Capitol of the world. Mountain View is home to Blanchard Springs Caverns and the Ozark Folk Center. There is lots of music and festivals year round in this unique town. - "The property was absolutely beautiful, entirely furnished with very nice furniture and accoutrement. Very secluded and private yet not miles away from a few stores and grocery. Also a bait shop. Directly on the water with a walking path that goes straight to a little private beach. The house has literally every single thing you could need. All appliances, seasonings, silverware, knives, laundry and dishwasher detergent, shampoo, body wash, condition, hair dryer, towels, first aid kit, coffee, tea, cocoa, propane grill, patio propane fire pit, outdoor fire pit, fish cleaning station, and a ton ton more. We needed for nothing. We caught 50+ fish in 3 days. I absolutely cannot wait to stay at this cabin again. Also, all the bed, recliners, and couches were extremely comfortable. 10/10 recommend."

This beautiful home has everything you could ever want for the ultimate vacation and get away. It is located on the White River which offers world class trout fishing year round. It is in the middle of the national forest, in a very small subdivision along the river.

*The cabin is located down a 3 or 8 mile gravel road, depending on which direction you come in from.

*We do encourage guests to buy groceries before coming to the cabin.

*The nightly rate up to 4 people is $250. For each person after four there is an additional $30 per person per night fee. There is a 15% discount if the stay is 7 or more nights.

*Pets are allowed only with prior approval. If approved, there is a $50/dog fee with only 2 small dogs allowed. Dogs will need to be kenneled if left unattended.

*The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials to make a meal except the food! (Crock pot, air fryer, hand mixer, electric griddle) There is both a 12 cup coffee maker and a Keurig.
*Coffee and filters are both available to guests. At the moment, the ice maker is broken and guests will need to bring ice if they want any.

*A charcoal grill is provided. Guests will need to supply charcoal if they intend to use it

*Firewood is provided to enjoy a campfire in the firepit located in the back yard overlooking the river.

*We provide: paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, Folgers coffee, coffee filters, laundry detergent, basic cleaning supplies, dishwashing tabs/soap, hand soap. Basic spices are left from previous guests. *We do not provide body soap or shampoo/conditioner,

*The main house has 2 levels, the upstairs has a master bedroom and bath, fully furnished kitchen with bar seating, living room with 75 inch TV, small dining table, gas fireplace, 1/2 bathroom, and a large deck outside with rocking chairs and a table with chairs to enjoy the view!

*Downstairs has another living area with large sectional couch, fireplace, TV, bar area with sink, refrigerator and ice maker, 2 bedrooms (one with a queen bed, and other has 2 twin beds) and a full bath.

*The sliding glass door goes out to a large deck that overlooks the river, as well as a fire pit for those chilly nights. Music can be Bluetoothed to an outdoor sound system.

*Newly added stone stairs make an easy access to walk down to get to the river bank. Children will need to be supervised at all times when by the river.

*Also, there is a deck that is over the water. Chairs are available to enjoy the view while on the deck. Boats can tie up to poles in the river. We do not recommend keeping a boat tied up overnight because the river level can change quickly.

*There is a large bunk room over the garage (that can be accessed only with 5 or more guests and additional fee). It includes a large bedroom with queen bed, a queen bed in common area and 3 smaller rooms with a total of 5 twin beds, and a full bathroom. This area sleeps an additional 9 guests with the added fee.

*Guests have access to a separate laundry room. It has 2 washers, 2 dryers and laundry detergent.

*Cell service is very limited and there is not a landline at the house. You are able to text and call and stream movies through high speed fiber optic internet. We do not provide a streaming service. Basic cable is not available in this area. WIFI calling will need to be enabled on a cell phone to make phone calls

HOUSE RULES:
*Pets are allowed only with prior approval. If approved, there is a $50/dog fee with only 2 small dogs allowed. Dogs will need to be kenneled if left unattended.

*There are 2 security cameras. One is above the door to the main house and one that looks out to the river bank. Both are for security reasons.

*The area offers an abundance of things to do. The White River offers world class fishing!

*There is a boat ramp 300 yards from the house if you want to bring your own boat. There are local guides that will pick you up on the cabin’s riverbank if you prefer!

*Kayaking is very popular, with rental places close by.
Calico Rock and Norfork are very small towns with a quaint downtown area, and a small grocery store for any basic items you might need.

*Mountain View is a wonderful town to visit, with Blanchard Springs Caverns, The Folk Center, Loco Ropes, horse back riding, biking and hiking trails. The downtown square has great folk music and fun. It is approximately a 30-40 minute drive through the National Forest.

*There are several waterfalls close by as well as several hiking trails through the National Forest. There are excellent back roads for ATV's, you can go forever and never see a person!!

*Mountain Home is a 30-40 minute drive and offers shopping and numerous restaurants, churches, hospital, movies and just about anything you would need.

*Norfork lake is approx. 20 minutes away and several docks have pontoon and jet ski rentals.

*The Buffalo National Park and River are close and a trip down the Buffalo is always a treat, as well as a view of the Arkansas elk herd.

The view of the White River and cattle ranch were wonderful. We had so much fun spotting wildlife and watching the sunrises and sunsets. The only suggestion I have is to add a luggage stand in the guest rooms because we had to put suitcases on the floor. There is a bench in the primary bed room, which was great. The beds are very comfortable, however, there is only one night stand in the bedrooms. A small table on the other side of the beds would be nice for placing phone and eyeglasses. We were very happy that this place has a garage to park our vehicle in and store fishing equipment. We have already recommended this home to friends."

Calico Rock Cabin-390 Chessmond Ferry Rd(500 Calico St) is a 3 bedroom/2 bath modern cabin situated on 1.62 acres with 261 ' of Bluff Frontage featuring "killer views" of the White River and overlooking a 6500 working cattle ranch backgrounded by 170,000 acres of the Ozark National Forest,Sylamore Ranger District.This modern vacation cabin includes all the modern amenities such as modern kitchen with dishwasher,washer/dryer,whirlpool in master bath, and big screen tv with 150 channels. This vacation home is located adjacent to the Calico Rock water tower 5 minutes from 3 trout docks with rental boats and guides for scenic touring of the river and trout fishing up and down the river from Calico Rock.The property is also located within 30 minutes of Blanchard Springs Caverns Recreational Area
and 30 minutes of Lake Norfork marinas (Quarry and Jordan). Numerous fine restaurants are in the immediate and nearby area such as Printing Press Cafe(Calico Rock),Subway(Calico Rock),PJ's White River Dining(Redbanks),Jo Jo's Catfish Restaurant(Allison), and Angler's Restaurant(Allison). This is the perfect location to enjoy the beautiful scenery from the bluffs overlooking the White River while being close to trout fishing on the White River,boating on Lake Norfork, and exploring the Ozark National Forest and nearby Blanchard Springs Caverns Recreational Area.

This property has 2 exterior security cameras (Blink Outdoor 4 ) mounted at front ext door area and rear deck area with audio for guest/owner communication at check in if necessary. This delightful cabin has a cozy living room with vaulted ceilings and a great view of the White River.

There is a primary bedroom, a loft sleeping area and a futon couch that folds out for additional guests. This cabin has real hardwood floors with lots of wood accents and a fully furnished kitchen to make meals.

You’ll love the front and rear porches that run across the length of the cabin...come sip your morning coffee or have a glass of wine and watch the evening fog glide across the river. The area is quiet and secluded, but only 1/4 mile from the White River bridge at Calico Rock. The cabin is down a private road which is accessed behind a locked gate. There are lots of wildlife on the property, and the cabin has views of the bluffs on one side with the White River on the other.

There are two security cameras on the property that monitor the stairs on the front and back of the cabin. The security cameras do not view the porches nor are there any security cameras inside the cabin.

Calico Rock has two downtowns — one for the living and one for the dead. On Main Street, the Historic District features a preserved jail, barbershop, and pool hall frozen in time. A block away, the Peppersauce Ghost Town lets you stroll through actual abandoned buildings — quiet, eerie, and open to discover.

The town sits on bluffs overlooking the White River, with sweeping views of water and cliffs. Rand Park makes the most of it, with hiking trails and shaded picnic spots right along the riverbank. If you’re ready for the most picturesque drive in the region, the Sylamore Scenic Byway starts here and winds through mountain roads, limestone bluffs, and some of the prettiest Ozark country in the state.

This cabin has a full size kitchen, large Island and dining table that seats 6. The seperate living room has a wood burning fireplace, large deck for entertaining with a beautiful river side view, and firepit

I drove and told him to just sit back and relax and didnt tell him where we were going. The closer we got to the cabin he had a feeling we were going fishing. You could tell he was getting more and more excited. When you turn off the highway, you will go under a railroad bridge and stay to the right and drive past a boat launch and a place to rent boats if you want. The cabin is off of the beaten path with a long narrow dirt road. Other than a couple of other cabins it very secluded. When we got to the cabin he was so surprised that we were right on the river and the cabin was absolutely beautiful. His words were "This is Perfect". It was just the 2 of us, but the cabin was big enough to hold a large crowd. The back deck is very large and perfect for sitting outside until the wee hours of the morning. There was a Strawberry moon that was so bright and beautiful that it reflected off the water and lit everything up. It was so romantic. If you want a quiet get away, this place is exactly what you need. We loved it"

Kick back at Happy Jack’s. All the amenities of home except the busyness of life. Located by the beautiful White River known for its great trout fishing. Home is stocked w/ kitchen supplies, ice trays , linens, towels, blankets & 3 comfortable beds. Master bedroom has king size bed, and dresser. 2nd Bedroom has full size bed. Living room has big screen tv, couch, big chair, & 1 bunk bed set. 2 full bathrooms. 1 bathroom has big jacuzzi tub & shower. Free WiFi . Charcoal grill under carport and outdoor chairs.

Bedrooms offered individual privacy. Place is beautifully decorated to appeal to different taste. Close enough to town eat out or can prepare food at site. Would definitely stay here again. We enjoyed sitting outside watching the river flowing by."

The cabin is set back off road and less than 2 miles from Lake Norfork and Jordan Marina/beach. You can launch your boat, rent pontoon or relax on beach. You can relax on back covered back deck and grill out and relax at night with campfire. It is very quiet and relaxing at our cozy cabin. There is plenty of parking for boat and vehicles, also has large carport.
