This Cabin was built in 2017. It is an open floor plan with Flat screen TV, a queen bed, sofa that has a fold out twin bed and a lounge chair that has a fold out single bed. There are also 2 cots if needed for additional guests!

If you are looking for a secluded and quiet spot to stay while trout fishing, floating the river, enjoying one of the local wineries, getting away to enjoy nature/peace and quiet or just like drinking coffee in your underwear all day on the porch this is the spot for you!

The cabin is located in the scenic Ozark mountains and is 300 yards from the parking lot at the start of the Woodson K. Woods conservation area with 5,658 acres of public hunting land.
Once your at the parking lot a hike down what locals refer to as "cardiac hill" provides fishing access to the heart of the renowned Meramec River Red Ribbon Trout Fishing area, this is a gated conservation road leading to the Meramec river and is about 1/2 mile long hill, going down is a breeze coming up takes some cardio! Hence the name “Cardiac Hill”.
There are several river access you can drive to within minutes to swim or fish, just ask and we will be happy to help you find the perfect one to hang out on for the day!

THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW:
-We do not have river frontage and you can not see the river from the cabin.
-From the cabin to the river is a just over 1/2 mile walk using the public cardiac hill access.
- To get to this cabin you will have to drive down 3 miles of gravel road.

-The towns of St. James and Cuba are both about a 15 minute drive from the cabin, where you can find several restaurants and grocery stores.

We cannot wait to return in the spring! We had a fire both nights in the firepit out front -- and hiked to the bluff to watch the sunset. The driveway was a bit steep, yes -- but our Outlander had no issues getting up and down the driveway. -- Also, we were blown away at the amount of super neat toys that the owners had stocked in the cabin. Our 3 year old didn't even touch the toys he brought from home -- he loved playing with the vintage Little People and it brought back memories for us too! We'll be back for sure!"

Floating, golfing, hunting, hiking, wineries, caves, shops, restaurants, historical sites, etc. are all close. We designed the cabin with the log cabin experience in mind. Log beds, custom log furniture, cedar tables & island, cedar vanities and a relaxing outdoor cabin feel with log benches to sit & relax by the fire pit or play outdoor games.

This is a 2000sf cabin with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a spacious loft, 5 smart TV's, WIFI, board games, kids toys/books, a gaming system and full arcade! It is a fully stocked cabin with everything you with need. All you need to do is pack your bags, grab some groceries/drinks & bring your family & friends! There is parking for up to 7 cars on the driveway and parking pads. We ask that you do not park on the grass as we have a septic tank which can not withstand the pressure of cars. Contact before booking for special rates, discounts and any requests.

There are so many fun activities close by: floating, golf, fishing, hunting, hiking, cave tours, wineries, water sports, horseback riding, archery, restaurants, historical sites, shopping, etc.

NOTE::
Only persons on the reservation are to be on the premises at any time. Any additional guests to be found shall incur a fee at the owners discretion of a minimum of $150 fine plus additional guest fees. No parties or gatherings unless explicitly approved by the owners prior to check in. ABSOLUTELY NO PETS of any kind. There is a $500 fine for any pets brought on the property plus any additional pet cleaning fee at the owners discretion. The reason for these rules is we must account for liability and insurance for all guests on the property. It is to protect both ourselves and the renters/guests. Additionally, do not unplug or mess with any ring cameras.

There is a king master en-suite on the main floor. Upstairs there are two more king bedrooms and a loft with a twin/queen bunk bed & a full bed. There are three (3) twin & one (1) queen air mattresses & pump available. Extra blankets, sheets, fleece blankets and pillows are all there for your convenience. There are also 4 animal themed kids sleeping bags for the little ones.
All bedrooms are equipped with USB ports on each of the headboard posts, nightstands with antler lamps, a smart TV & ceiling fans.

Bathrooms:
***All bathrooms are stocked with individual bars of face & body soap, individuals shampoo/conditioners bottles, a hair dryer, q-tips, cotton balls & cotton pads. All bath towels, hand towels & wash clothes are provided. Ample toilet paper is provided for each bathroom.
- The master bathroom had a vessel bowl double vanity, walk in tin shower, separate toilet area and scale.
- The upstairs full bath has a vessel bowl double sink, a toilet, and tub/shower combo.
- The half bath has a vessel bowl sink and toilet.

Laundry Room:
-The laundry room has a full size stackable washer/dryer. Detergent is provided.
-There is a high chair and pack n play if needed.
-There is a first aid kit, outdoor games, chairs, highchair, vacuum, wet jet, mop, extra cleaning supplies, trash bags, bug spray, iron, ironing board, etc.
-The electrical panel is in the laundry room. We ask that you do not touch it without the permission of the owner.

Patio/Gable Porch/Bakyard:
There is a table that seats 8 on the gable porch. Right off is a gravel area with a picnic table. There is a charcoal grill (please bring own charcoal). We ask that after you grill (and it is completely cooled down) that you replace the grill cover properly. We have a few outdoor games. Fun for everyone!! We just ask that you put them away after use. There is also an industrial light/fan on the gable porch. It is run by remote, which is kept inside on the fireplace mantle.

Loft:
The loft has games and books for kids as well as a tv, gaming system & full arcade. We just as that you do not bring food or beverages as the gaming systems can be damaged easily. They are inspected after each rental and any damages will be the responsibility of the renter.

Fire Pit:
Follow a lighted pathway to the fire pit! There are custom log benches where you can sit and roast marshmallows or simply relax by the fire.
***We ask that each fire is completely extinguished after each use, especially before heading in for the night or leaving the property.

General:
The thermostat is set to 70. Please do not adjust to higher than 72 or lower than 70. It is run remotely and can be reset on our end.

There are security cameras on the property and an alarm system on the cabin to ensure accurate check in. They are both deactivated when guests arrive and not reactivated until they depart unless there is an inaccurate guest count or reports of problems on the property. Please do not try to move, block, touch or deactivate them. We respect your privacy and utilize these when the cabin is unoccupied.

This quiet, charming, private, multi-room is part of a larger lodge home located in the scenic Ozarks outside of historic Cuba,MO. This one bedroom, one bath, one living room walkout basement is perfect for unplugging and connecting to nature, yourself, your partner, or all 3 while enjoying the abundant wildlife. Sit around the fire pit enjoying star gazing while nestled among the Ozark forest. Located 4 miles from Scott's Ford and Riverside access on the Meramec River. We accommodate for 2 adults but for an additional fee of $15, we do allow for up to 4 guests. There is additional sleeping space on the large couch and a cot, which is stored in the bedroom closet, which can also be set up.
The Space
The property is managed as a quiet place with a diversity of wildlife. Behind the yard is a native plant restoration area and the front of the property is periodically managed with controlled burning to facilitate woodland wildflowers and the wildlife community it supports. Perfect for reconnecting to nature with no other houses around. You will be surrounded by serenity. We provide private parking.
Guest access
You will have the entire back yard and fire pit to yourself. (Firewood is available for purchase through the Fox Ridge webstore.) There will not be any guests upstairs. On rare occasion, the owner might be home and stay upstairs but you will have the entire backyard and fire pit to yourself. You will have a very quiet and peaceful experience, with the opportunity to connect with nature.
Other things to note
Located approximately 4 miles from Scott’s Ford and 4 miles to Riverside Road public accesses to the Meramec River. Approximately 10 miles to the St. James Area wineries.
For our guest’s safety there is a security camera attached to the garage which views the parking area.
Wifi has been recently upgraded to Starlink, providing a great streaming service.

This unique country cabin features an open king bedroom floor plan, a loft with a full size bed, and a twin sized bed. The full kitchen offers a stove, refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. The jetted tub in the bathroom is perfect for relaxing after a day on the river. The air conditioning, heat, running water and electricity makes your trip even more comfortable. Maximum Capacity for this cabin is 5. All linens are provided.

Note!! The oven does not work in this unit. The stove functions properly.

Our cozy cabin sits on 340 acres in the heart of the Ozarks. The Tavern Creek meanders and winds a mile through the property, along with open fields and an abundance of wildlife.

- "We loved staying out at the cabin! Very clean and spacious. The cows out front were a big win for me! You can look out the kitchen window and see lots of deer in the field around the cabin! Everything was very clean and I enjoyed our stay. One of my favorite things was the seclusion of the property and all of the cows! I only wish I had know the property was far away from…everything. Lol. I feel like the distance would be good for a couples retreat or if you didn’t plan on leaving the cabin much. It was a little rough for us because we traveled to Ft. Leonard Wood. On the way there, the GPS took us 4 miles down a dirt road, which we learned was easily avoided by going 1/2 mile in the other direction. My only actual complaint was that there was no WiFi and cell service was very spotty. We have Verizon, and cell service was 1 bar or less most times. Other than that, we enjoyed absolutely everything."

This unique country cabin features a King sized bedroom, a Queen size bedroom, an upstairs common area with 2 sets of queen bunk beds, and a bathroom with shower/tub combo. The downstairs features the living area with sofa, love seat a full bathroom with shower/tub combo and large dining table. It has a full kitchen with stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and garbage disposal. The large upstairs screened in deck is perfect for taking in all the beauty Ruby's Landing has to offer. The 3/4 wrap around main level porch is perfect for grilling and family time. Air conditioning, heat, running water and electricity makes your trip even more comfortable. Maximum capacity for this cabin is 12.

This beautiful cabin sleep up to 10 people. The downstairs has a King sized bedroom. The loft is large and has 2 Kings, a Queen and 2 Twins. You cannot stand in this loft but there is plenty of room for sleeping. The bathroom has a shower and the kitchen has stove/oven, microwave and full fridge. Pricing for this cabin is for 10 people. Pets are welcome and the cost is $25 per pet per night with a maximum of 2 pets.
