Our 2.5-acre lakefront property located within this gated community features a 3-bedrooms, 2-bath chalet with additional sleeping loft complete with all the indoor and outdoor amenities you’ll need to make your stay comfortable, relaxing, and exciting!

The open floorplan allows for large gatherings and features an entire wall of windows overlooking Innsbrook’s Blue Heron Lake. The lakefront features zero-entry access from a sandy beach just steps away from the deck, allowing you to keep a close eye on little ones and pets. The deck can be closed off to limit access to water if necessary, and sliding door alarms have been installed to alert you to any little escapees.

You’ll find all the comforts of home during your stay. Fresh linens and comfy beds that will make you think twice about getting up early! The main floor consists of a fully functioning kitchen, full bath with clothes dryer, a large, open living/dining area with gorgeous stone fireplace, and master bedroom with deluxe king-sized bed. The premium, pillow top mattress is sure to give you a great night’s sleep. If you forget anything there are essential toiletries on hand complimentary with your stay.

On the second level you’ll find a full bath, loft area, cozy private bedroom with queen size bed, and a full bunk room to accommodate five guests. A queen size inflatable mattress with pump and a single cot are also available for your use.

For our four-legged family members, you will quickly realize that pets are always welcome at the Firefly Inn. You will find feeding and water bowls, a pet-friendly deck, a dedicated ‘pet sofa’, and lots of room to run around. Our dogs are part of our family, as I’m sure they are part of yours. Our vacations are never complete without them!

A paddle boat, two kayaks, a canoe and a large 6’ x 15’ floating lily pad are provided for your use and are conveniently located at the water’s edge. Or, if you choose, you can bury your toes in the sand on the lakeside beach and read a book or just take in the sunshine and natural beauty. An outdoor shower let’s you freshen up before going inside. All of the outdoor amenities at Firefly Inn are immediately accessible from the chalet making access not only extremely convenient, but also allows you to keep a watchful eye on children and pets. Lifejackets are available in a variety of sizes and are recommended.

There are two fire pits on the property for gathering and toasting marshmallows. One is located at the water’s edge and one is tucked away within the large circle drive.

You’ll find two outdoor grills on the deck, one charcoal and one gas, and everything you’ll need to prepare a delicious family barbecue. If you don’t feel like cooking, let the Clubhouse Grill put together a feast for your family to pick up just minutes away.

The large circle drive offers plenty of parking space so invite your friends!

If you prefer a cozy winter stay, you can warm up next to the large stone fireplace, play games, or explore the outdoors.

- "The set-up at this location was perfect. There were 7 of us. We loved having the lake just steps from the back door. The sandy beach area was wonderful. Our dogs loved, loved the lake and also appreciated having their own full-sized doggie couch to lounge on. We fully enjoyed the two kayaks, paddle board and the paddle boat...and the lily pads. We had fun fishing and caught and released quite a few fish. We saw several cool water snakes and a turtle. It was a full moon while we were there, and the moon over the lake in the evening while sitting around a small campfire was perfection. The chalet does get a little warm in the heat of the day, but the ac catches up nicely in the late afternoon! All in all it was a perfect five days of fun and relaxation."

- "This stay was odd because 4 of 6 had to cancel so my wife and I had this amazing place to ourselves. It was cool when we arrived but the furnace warmed the place up pretty quick. My only comment was that there was no remote for the gas fireplace which would have been nice. The hot tub was primed and ready but (long story) due to illness we did not use it. The primary suite bed was great and the on suite really nice. We would come back for a fall getaway sometime."

- "We loved the charm and comforts of the chalet. The kids absolutely loved the loft area and the toys in the table in the living room. The adults all slept comfortably. The only downfall was the size of the furniture. It seemed that everywhere you turned you were bumping into something or having to squeeze by. We did have trouble with the trolling motor on the floating dock which was never resolved. Overall we LOVE this place and we fell in love with Innsbrook! The convenience of just walking down to the water and having all the "toys" you needed right there was what made this getaway so relaxing. We also loved the nature. We sat by the fire pit each night and twice we had deer come within 20 feet of us! We listened to the owls and other critters. The lightening bugs were a big hit for us 40-somethings and our kiddos! This chalet is on a septic tank and does not have a washer, dryer or dishwasher. The laundry facilities are located at the Charrette Creek Commons and feature two coin-operated washers and dryers are open daily from 6 a.m.-8 p.m. on a first come, first serve basis. Available for use of property owners and registered guests. Detergent is also available for a fee.

Please note that we charge a one time property damage protection fee. This is actually a damage protection policy that protects you for up to $500 worth of coverage for any damages incurred because we know that accidents can happen.

Check-in time is 4 p.m. and check-out time is 11 a.m. We do have early check-in options, but cannot guarantee early check-in until the day before your stay. In order to respect the neighbors, our property owners, and Innsbrook Resort's rental policies, we do not allow large events or gatherings at our chalets (typically 10-15 people). Welcome to the Shady Grove Chalet by Aspen Lake. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath chalet is a perfect wooded getaway that is as close as you can be to the water without being lakefront. You will not be disappointed! The chalet is located on a beautiful wooded 2.5 acre lot right next to one of the beaches on Aspen Lake. Spend your days swimming and using our kayaks and stand up paddle board located right at the beach.

The space
The beds will comfortably sleep 10 – the main level has 2 bedrooms and the upstairs has a loft and a bedroom. Bedroom 1 on the main floor has a queen bed and bedroom 2 on the main floor has a queen bed and a twin trundle (and a beautiful wall of windows!). The upstairs bedroom has a queen bed and a twin, and the loft has a twin bed plus a twin trundle.

The full size kitchen is outfitted with everything you need: dishwasher, crockpots, pans, pots, utensils, coffee maker. The dining table seats 6 and an additional seating area by the kitchen seats another 6. The smoker and charcoal grill are ready on the patio.

Guest access
While not technically lakefront, the path down our hill leads you to a marina and beach on the lovely 137 acre Aspen Lake. (see the photos to see the steps down to Aspen Lake). Spend your days at the beach or take the kayaks or stand up paddle board out on the water. Back at the chalet, enjoy the treehouse views from all windows in the chalet and the feeling of being in the tree tops while relaxing on the large deck. For those rainy days and quiet evenings, there are a variety of adult and kid puzzles, games and books. There is wifi and a tv with dvd player and roku stick.

Other things to note
During June and July and early August we have 7 night minimum rentals.

Welcome to our little cabin in the woods! It is our "happy place" and we know you will you love it as much as we do! You will definitely be able to relax and unwind in the peace and quiet.

The space
Our little cabin in the woods is nestled on 3 acres in a secluded wooded setting within the Innsbrook Resort Community. This 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom home sleeps 8 and offers everything from hiking, canoeing, swimming, or lounging around the firepit.

We completely remodeled the 1200+ sq ft of this cozy, little retreat. Our charming cabin is very private, comfortable and though cozy in size, sleeps a small crowd. The main floor features a master bedroom with king size bed, a sofa bed in the main living area and a full bath. The second floor has a loft area with a full bed, bean bag that lays out into a queen pallet for the floor and lots of games....this room is perfect for the kids pr another couple. Also, upstairs small second room with a queen bed. We have a kitchen, dining room & family room with a smart TV & woodburning stove all on the main floor. The outdoor area has a large deck with table/umbrella, charcoal grill,  firepit with seating and kayak (you will need to haul to lake). 

WINTER ---> NOV-MAR: 4 -wheel drive car is recommended. In heavy snow, the cabin is deep in the woods & services would not be able to plow you out immediately.

NO PARTIES. We have a 8 person occupancy. This includes holidays.

You will find everything you need to relax. Features include a full kitchen, a large deck for hanging out and relaxing, and a large outdoor fire pit as well. Overlooking many private acres and creeks, you’ll definitely feel you are one with nature after a stay here.

For rainy days and quiet evenings, indoors we have plenty of board games, puzzles, and a Roku t.v. with movie options that will make for a great time with family and friends. If you do have the desire to stay connected, we have Wifi and streaming channels.

We welcome dogs upon request for an additional $50/one time fee. Maximum 2 pets. Please message me when you book if you are bringing a dog so I can adjust your price.

Winter-specific: (1) The fireplace is not available for rentals. (2) You must have an AWD drive car for winter bookings. The gravel roads and hills are tricky in the winter and we have no way to help if you get stuck.

This cabin is connected to a septic system. To ensure proper functioning all food particles must be properly disposed of in the waste bins, only toilet paper should be placed in the toilet and the 10 person maximum capacity should be respected. Failure to comply with these guidelines could result in septic system failure and costly repairs.
