- "We called before booking to make sure there were 2 beds per room and there were 1 beds per room. There were only screen doors to the unit, not actual solid doors. There was a gap underneath the front door that allowed bugs to crawl in, one in which was a scorpion that freaked the kids out. It appeared that there were people that were not staying at the place, we're parked outside our bedroom windows within a few feet, in and out of vehicles. On actual Labor Day morning there was construction and nail guns going all morning. So.... So much for sleeping in on a holiday. Definitely not worth the couple hundred bucks for a night. The kids wanted a new place, felt uncomfortable, but I made em bite the bullet for a night."

However, please be aware that water levels around the dock can vary significantly, especially between January and April when lake levels are often lowered. During this time, the water may become extremely shallow or even nonexistent, causing the dock to rest on the ground. If you have any questions about water levels at the time of your booking, feel free to reach out.
- Pontoons and other shallow-bottom boats are best suited for this location. Please exercise caution, as dock use is at your own risk, and we are not responsible for any damage to boats or PWCs while tied up.

Singing Hills Cabin #1 pays tribute to the original name of this resort, Singing Hills Resort. Guests to Cabin #1 can now enjoy a fully renovated space, completed in early 2023. This cabin now features all new flooring, new shiplap walls, all new furniture, a new kitchen including butcher block countertops, new cabinets, all new appliances and a new bathroom featuring a beautifully crafted tile shower and all new fixtures. Singing Hills Cabin #1 is close to the playground and coming soon, will also be located close to the swimming pool.

This cabin has one spacious bedroom with a new king bed. The living room is a great place for the little ones to sleep on the full-size pull out sleeper sofa. Large windows provide ample natural light to the living space. This cabin is pet-friendly. Please see pet rules below.

Pet fees are $50 and can be added as a retail item when making your reservation. Rules are as follows:
1) Only non-shedding dogs are allowed.
2) A maximum of two dogs per unit are allowed.
3) All dogs must be on a leash while on resort grounds.
4) Dogs must be dry when entering cabin. If your dog has just swam, please ensure they get dry before coming into the cabin.
5) If dogs are left alone in the cabin, they must be kenneled.
6) As all resort furniture is new, dogs are not allowed on any furniture.
7) Pet fee is $50/dog.

- "When we first entered the cabin, I thought it might be a little smaller than what I wanted, although the pictures are very accurate❤️. Turns out, it was everything we (2 people) needed and perfect for us! The king-size bed was wonderful. Everything Clean! Everything, including Super Walmart, was a short drive. We weren't able to do everything we wanted because it was so hot Aug 20-25, that we were in the pool a lot. The pool is wonderful too! The lighting/light poles were perfect so we didn't need a flashlight and one shone over the pool. Great people all around."

Thornsberry Cabin #5 is named in honor of one of the many sunken towns, that now lie at the bottom of the lake. Thornsberry Cabin is a quaint cottage/cabin style unit that has a beautiful view of the lake. Complete renovations now include a new kitchenette and bathroom, new floors, new paint, new bedding, new living room furniture and more.

This cabin has a queen bed plus a full-size sleeper sofa. The dining table offers seating for 4 guests and the kitchenette is equipped with all necessities for preparing meals with ease.

- "We were looking for an inexpensive vacation not too far from home, and Niangua Hills delivered! The cabin was perfect and cozy for the two of us, we enjoyed quality time kayaking and swimming in the lake and sitting around the campfire watching the sun set. The cabin came with everything we needed and we were able spend all of our time relaxing by the lake. I’m certain we’ll be back again!" - "Small resort area with great cabins. Comfortable bed, great a/c (since it was over 100 degrees during our stay) and adequate kitchenette area for all our needs. We did have a small hiccup when we arrived and found our cabin had not been cleaned. I called the office immediately and Amanda bent over backwards to make things right and find out the problem. The communication with her was superb. There’s a nice pool and also a swimming area in the lake with kayak and paddle boards available to rent. Osage Cabin #2 is named in honor of the Osage Indians, who once laid claim to these grounds. Not only the Osage Indians, but the Osage River, that was dammed up to create our beautiful lake. Osage Cabin has previously been renovated, but more renovations are to come!

This cabin is in the same building as the laundry room, making it a breeze to drop in a quick load of laundry before heading out on the water again. Bring the kids and let them sleep on the pullout sofa while you enjoy sleeping in the brand-new king-size bed. All new furniture added in July 2022.

You will sleep soundly in the new, king bed, in the main bedroom. Additional sleeping space can be found in the living room, on the full-size sleeper sofa.

Renovations will begin soon and starting at season's opening in 2023, guests will enjoy a 100% renovated space to include a new kitchenette, a new bathroom, new floors, and new paint.

Irish Hills Cabin #8 dates back to the 1940s and is named in honor of the previous name of the resort, Irish Hills Resort. There are so many features to love about this cabin! Recent renovations include a new kitchen with all new appliances and a renovated bathroom including a beautiful tile shower, new floors, fresh paint, new mattresses and bedding, new living room furniture and the installation of an efficient mini split air unit. This cozy cabin has a visually appealing fireplace (although it is not a working fireplace), 3 bedrooms and a cozy loft. A total of 8 guests can comfortably sleep in this cabin. Two bedrooms have a queen bed, one bedroom has a trundle bed with two twin mattresses and the loft has a queen bed.

Additional features of Irish Hills Cabin #8 include the close proximity to the pavilion and the playground. Our playground has been updated and is a great place for the kids to run off some energy. Yard games near the playground also offer a way for the adults to have fun while the kids play. Accessing the lake front, swim dock and boat docks in an easy walk down to the water's edge.

Note to guests: This cabin does not have a lake view, as it is surrounded by lush greenery which not only gives our resort character, but also provides much needed shade during the hot weather months. The loft does get warm during those hot weather months as well but fans are provided to help those sleeping in the loft.

Gladstone Cabin #10 is named in honor of one of the towns that now lie at the bottom of the lake, the town of Gladstone. Years ago, this cabin was located at another resort down the water's edge from Niangua Hills Resort. The cabin was torn down and rebuilt on the new resort grounds and still features the original pine walls, which dates this structure to the area of it's time. This incredibly cozy cabin offers one of the best views of the lake from the resort. Enjoy having your coffee on the private deck each morning! Cabin #10 has been newly renovated and now features a new kitchenette with new appliances, a new bathroom with a beautiful tile shower, new floors, fresh paint, new bedding, new furniture throughout the cabin and the installation of an efficient mini-split air unit.

Bagnell Cabin #4 is named to pay tribute to the Bagnell Dam. When the dam was completed in 1931, it dammed up the Osage River, creating the Lake of the Ozarks, which draws millions of tourists each year. In this cabin, you will enjoy a new king bed in one bedroom and one queen plus one bunk bed in the second bedroom. Bagnell Cabin is a quaint cabin that has a beautiful view of the lake and a deck overlooking the calm waters of this no wake cove. The original pine walls provide a nostalgic feel, providing guests with a glimpse of the past. This cabin was originally built in the 1940s and has been renovated to feature an updated space, while maintaining the original character.
