Piney Creek is surrounded by natural beauty and abundant wildlife—deer, turkeys, foxes, bobcats, squirrels, raccoons, and more. With a total of 52 acres, there is plenty of exploring to do! There's a good chance you will see creek flyovers by eagles looking for a meal.

Speaking of meals, you can enjoy cooking on the grill, and eating outdoors by the fire pit! Yum, hot dogs on a stick, roasted marshmallows, smores?!!

We also have a hammock (with a steel stand) for enjoying lazy afternoons by the creek!

Piney Creek is great for relaxing, wading, swimming, floating, and excellent fishing for bass, rainbow trout (in season), sunfish, and other species.

We rent kayaks to our guests--we can arrange float trips (short, medium, or long)--just inquire.

The cabin property sits on 52 acres with 1,200 feet of sandy creek frontage. It is remote, heavily wooded, quiet, and peaceful. We all want a little break from the everyday hassles. It’s a fantastic time to visit our cabins!

Cabin does not have trash pickup--service is not even available in our area of the Ozarks--you will need to take your trash "home with you."

We recommend guests bring bottled/jug water for drinking/cooking. We have a good well/well pump, but we also have LOTS of natures’s critters roaming our multi-acre property.

This area of the Ozarks is very rural with dirt/gravel roads.. The last short part of the road to our cabin can sometimes be ROCKY AND ROUGH depending on the last time the county graded the country road. We recommend a 4-wheel drive vehicle--or at least a vehicle with good ground clearance--the higher the frame the better. The long driveway down to the creek and our cabin has "speed bumps"--not the normal kind--just erosion prohibitors. Go slow.

Can’t attest to if TV works or not as we never even turned it on because we were too busy in/at the River, seeing the caverns/hiking or playing games as a family. Great family cabin."

If you’re considering another vacation rental cabin, don’t! Our property offers the ultimate nature experience! A beautiful pristine creek, wooded paths, towering limestone bluffs, abundant wildlife, and serenity await you at this remote, quiet getaway.

How to describe the beauty of this location is a big challenge. It is widely known as the most beautiful spot on Piney Creek, and it sits at one of its widest points. Sit on a rock ledge and let the water rush over you, or swim in the clear water. Catch some fish too! The photos do not nearly do it justice! It is truly spectacular!

At our VERY PRIVATE AND ROMANTIC place on the Piney, you can easily kayak down a nice long stretch with NO rough water or rapids and turn around and easily paddle back, or keep on floating (ask us about that)! Great fishing along the way. We rent kayaks to our guests.

Rustic, cozy, romantic, cabin with screened-in porch. Cabin has EVERYTHING you need for a romantic getaway for 2-4 couples or perhaps fishing buddies longing to catch some beauties! Property is not child-friendly.

Screened in porch has a ceiling fan, table/chairs, outside-type lounge and rocker, and shelves for your use.

The cabin has two spacious rooms with 2 bathrooms (one has tub/shower combo--other has a shower stall) and is completely furnished: stove, fridge with top freezer, washer/dryer. There is a split-system heat/AC, and an additional window AC, and ceiling fans in each room. Kitchen area has coffeemaker, microwave, toaster oven, toaster, crock pot, rice cooker, dishes, pots 'n pans, silverware, dishtowels, etc.

We supply all linens, even "creek towels."

Bedroom has KING bed--extra pillows. There is a very comfortable sofa and recliner/rocker as well as a queen sofabed with foam pad in the living room.

2 bathrooms--don't forget about that wonderful outside shower with hot water!

Smart TV, with DVD, hi-speed internet. Most cell phones now have WiFi calling that will allow you to pick up our WiFi signal to make cell calls. Cell signals are erratic everywhere in the Ozarks. If you cannot pick up a signal at the cabin even using WiFi calling, there is usually a good signal at the intersection of Reb Lane and Boswell Rd if you need to make an important call.

Weather in the Ozarks affects power and cell signals too--very often the outage is quickly restored; however, be prepared to live without TV and phone--just part of the charm of life in the Ozark boonies!

Outside there is a nice picnic table with umbrella and a propane grill. Hammock too!

In the mood for stargazing and roasting marshmallows? A wonderful fire pit awaits you! Free cut firewood ready for your romantic evening!

There is NO trash service available in this area. Guests must take trash with them when checking out of cabin. Do not place your trash outside at night--critters love your leftovers!

We provide starter supply of paper products: toilet tissue, paper towels, napkins, and washer detergent for linens. Please stop on your way to pick up these items for your personal use.
We have a well/well pump, but since this is really in the country with abundant wildlife roaming the property, we suggest you use bottled/jug water for drinking/cooking.

E-CIGARETTES). N This is heavily wooded & dry forest land--NO SMOKING ANYWHERE! NO ANIMALS OF ANY KIND ALLOWED ANYWHERE ON PROPERTY.We certainly want you to have fun, but respectful of the quiet serene setting and nature at her best. - "Enjoyed our stay at the cabin, nice and remote. Glad we had an SUV to get us there. It was great meeting Mitch. Due to rain and storms during our stay, we we decided to not hike, but luckily had bought tickets before the trip to go to Blanchard Springs Caverns. Definitely recommend the caverns. This trip was for our 28 anniversary and we ate at the Whispering Woods Cabin & Grill in Norfork. Food was excellent! Husband did get to do a little bit of fishing while we were there."

Both parking on-site and free Wifi are available at River Access and Private Deck Mountain View Retreat. The spacious apartment includes a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave and a fridge, as well as a coffee machine. Towels and bed linen are provided in the apartment. Only 6.5 miles to charming Mountain View for entertainment, restaurants or groceries. Close to hiking, caverns, local music. You will love the open kitchen and living area. Quiet, peaceful, and so secluded. Come roost/gather and relax. RV pad available (30 amp) for additional cost with cabin rental. No sewer access. RV must be parked in designated area.

The caverns are amazing, OK Trading Post took our whole family on a horse ride, and we also went to the Ozark Center where the kids had a blast. All of these are within minutes of the cabin, it is very close to town and an easy drive. We will be back. Loved our stay, the hosts are awesome!"
