Each pod features an expansive glazed entrance, somewhere to sit and relax while you take in the stunning views of the rugged coastline and sparkling sea. The set-up of the pod is for 2 adults and 2 children (or adults under 5ft5) with a comfy double bed and integrated bunkbeds tucked away. Hotel quality towels and linen are used throughout.
Indoors there is a heating/cooling floor fan, private WiFi router and USB slots. The kitchenette has cutlery and crockery plus kettle, toaster, microwave and mini fridge. Tobermory has a variety of shops, restaurants and bars right on the waterfront. They are all within walking distance and provide a taste of the island's talents all in one location. You can park for free anywhere along the main street, including outside the waterfront apartments building. If it is a busy time don't worry, there is a large main stay car park at the far end of the street also free of charge. The apartment is opposite the famous Cafe Fish and well established Mishnish bar so you will not have to go far to be looked after.

I don't think that for the money we paid for the apartment, it was fair to ask us to strip the beds and do the clean up."

Bad Daraich is a historic gem situated above the world-famous harbour town of Tobermory. Enjoy completely unspoiled views across the Sound of Mull, only five minutes from the Main Street. Built in 1860 and having just undergone an extensive renovation bringing it up to modern standards. There is space for everyone to enjoy it's charm, whether in front of the log-fire with a book or in the games room, all the family will be catered for!
Upon entering the house, you are met with an original Victorian tiled hallway, this gives a flavour of things to come. The living room is set out with two luxurious red velvet sofas, and custom-made bay-window seating, there is a log burning stove and a 50inch tv with the full Sky package. The dining room has comfortable seating for 10, around a grand oak table. Surrounded by antique furnishings this is a great room to enjoy meals with a view. The kitchen is fully equipped with a range cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, and coffee machine. There is ample storage and seating around the island.
Also, on the ground floor you will find a games room; with a full size pool table. The laundry room is equipped with washing machine and tumble dryer as well as drying pulleys. There is also a beautiful bathroom at the foot of the stairs, this has traditional styling and features a rainfall shower over the bath.
As you climb the staircase we have five bedrooms, two of which have Kingsize beds and en-suite bathrooms. There is a twin room, and a further two large en-suite bedrooms at the front of the house which have breath-taking views; one of these has a Superking bed, and the other is a twin with twin single beds.

We'd have liked to have a larger fridge/freezer or a separate beer/wine fridge as with a large group of people there was a lot of food and drinks to accommodate. The bedrooms are large and well furnished, with the 2 front rooms again offering spectacular views. The only slight criticism is that some of the doors either had locks that didn't work, or doors that wouldn't stay closed, though these are small things that can easily be fixed I'm sure. The building has a large garden with some wooden seating and again the only slight criticism is that we could have done with some better outside seating, perhaps with sun loungers or deck chairs which would be more comfortable than the wooden benches. There is plenty of car parking space in the garden and around the house. These small things did not detract from our holiday at all, and we'd recommend this property to anyone wanting to spend time in a quiet, but extremely picturesque location. There are nice restaurants, shops and bars within a 5-10 minute walk. The price we paid was reasonable for such a large property, accommodating 9 people in our group and, when broken down into a price per person, it was very reasonable. If we are back in Tobermory we'd definitely consider using Bad Daraich again, and would recommend it to anyone, particularly large groups of family or friends."

Carnanamish is a modern holiday home enjoying spectacular views over Tobermory harbour towards Calve Island and the Sound of Mull. Designed with large windows to make the best of the stunning views, Carnanamish is a highly insulated, eco-friendly house offering a cosy, warm environment for guests.
Unusually, the bedrooms are all situated on the ground floor of the house, to provide better views from the living areas on the first floor. There are four bedrooms, all styled in contemporary hotel style and providing good quality comfy beds and bed linen, to ensure you enjoy a great night’s sleep. There is a master double bedroom, two further double bedrooms and a twin room on the ground floor. All are served by both a family bathroom with a large walk-in shower, situated next to the master double bedroom, plus a separate toilet.
The main open plan living space is on the upper floor of Carnanamish and is a fantastic light airy space, making the most of those stunning views, split into two levels with the dining table set on the same floor level as the kitchen.
There are two sets of patio doors, both of which can be opened out to separate balconies to enjoy the Hebridean air and views. You can walk from the house to Tobermory’s main street in 5 minutes, where you can enjoy the many shops, cafés, pub and restaurants which line this picturesque, colourful harbour. Within 30 minutes to the west you can be on Calgary beach, a broad expanse of fine white sand backed by dunes and machair. Just sit and watch the day go by, or observe the seabirds fishing in the bay, watch an otter eat its dinner on the sea shore, or perhaps spy a sea eagle soaring overhead. If you choose complete escapism, there is limited mobile signal and currently no Wi-Fi connection, however, 4G is available if desired.

- "The indifference of the operator.......we were given an address but house numbers in Tobermoy are erratic thus to give 61 Main Street was hardly why not add 'opposurte the Cafe Fish'? And when we telephoned no one answered. In the flat the first cupboard's handle came off in our hand, the clock did not work for want of a battery and the bathroom light flickered non-stop. Ten minutes work for a caring operator who might also might think to add a (free) map of the island and recommend a restaurant or two and perhaps mention the lovely local bakery. Nothing too earth shaking there but it would suggest some sort of commitment to the client."

Puffin Apartment has been recently refurbished, with new carpets and furniture throughout. It has as open plan kitchen/sitting room, with a large sofa-bed which easily sleeps 2. There's a dining area and a king-size bedroom with en-suite. Ideal for couples or friends, spending a few days travelling around Mull, or just enjoying time in Tobermory sampling the award winning pubs and restaurants in the area.

Oskamull, on the west coast of Mull is a restored farmhouse in an idyllic, much sought after part of the island. The views are spectacular, looking as it does to the Southwest across Loch Na Keal towards Ben More and the Gribun rocks. Further to the right is the island of Ulva, with the ferry just visible. This is an ever changing vista, with it’s constant movement of weather, colour and pattern.
Walking is also a major pastime, with hills, tracks, or beaches to promenade or climb. Fishing permits are available, and there is abundant wildlife to see.

Set on the edge of a moor, Braeside is semi-rural and lies within 5 minutes’ walk of the centre of Tobermory with its main street of brightly painted buildings from pier to pier, small beach, and high woodland-fringed hills, surrounding the bay. Built as a fishing port in the late 18th century, Tobermory is a renowned for its picture postcard colour and is the main town on Mull with a good variety of shops, hotels, cafés, and bars. The harbour is always busy with fishing boats, yachts, and the ferry to and from Kilchoan. There are some beautiful walks from Tobermory, a stroll out to the Lighthouse at Rubha nan Gall or a more strenuous walk into Aros Park. Tobermory is an ideal location as a base for wildlife watching on the Isle of Mull which is well known for the re-introduction of white-tailed eagles which can be seen throughout the length and breadth of the island, including Tobermory.
Daily Boat trips leave Tobermory for trips to Staffa and the Treshnish Isles as the seas off the coast of Mull are important feeding areas for whales, dolphins, and basking sharks. With luck you may catch a glimpse of a rare golden eagle, otter, corncrake or many of other birds and mammals seen on the island. The Isle of Mull sits off the west coast of Scotland and is the second largest of the inner Hebridean islands. Easily accessible from the mainland with car and passenger ferries running regularly from the mainland with the main route being from Oban to Craignure via Caledonian MacBrayne. Boasting approximately 300 miles of coastline from rugged cliffs to both white and black sandy beaches, the beauty of Mull can be enjoyed year-round with an ever-changing, spectacular landscape.
