Our only struggle was with communication. We did not receive any directions prior to arrival, even after an email and phone call. Turns out the directions to enter the cabin were IN THE CABIN. The door was unlocked and the key was on the table. Just felt kind of weird letting ourselves in. There are a couple other cabins on the site and then the owners cabin. All were empty, so we weren't really sure what was going on. In addition the directions said to put trash in the shed with the electric fence around it. There were no instructions on how to get around the fence! It seemed obvious, but I would hate to make a mistake and get shocked. We took a chance based on what made sense and were able to dispose of trash as directed. Other than that is was fantastic. I would definitely stay there again. "

Pine Place is a cozy cottage at the heart of our property and half of our only duplex. Originally built as the property owner's year-round home, we lived here while renovating all of our cabins. - "The Sandy Point Motel is an older motel. Not everyone is comfortable with old fashioned accommodations, but we were just fine with them. Our room had very little floor space but the most wonderful view of the lake! It was too cold (for us) to rent one of their canoes and go out onto the lake. We may consider returning in the summer to do so. We were located close to hiking opportunities and made two trips to the Adirondak Museum. We found nice places to eat. Nestled on 4 acres with a long private driveway, off a wooded lane, Timber Hill offers one of the most beautiful and alluring views of the lake. Soft rustic hues and Adirondack accents, cottony flannels and deep comfortable sofas will offer all the comforts of home.

Fully furnished for true comfort and enjoyment, Timber Hill is located north of the town bridge on the east shore, perfect for daytime sunshine and viewing the setting sun over the scenic mountaintops. A boat dock, swim raft, and rowboat are provided on the 180 foot shoreline. A lean-to and large fire-pit overlook the lake for evening campfires, and hot tub invites all for relaxing warmth. Inside you will find three floors of truly inviting living space including an upper loft and master suite with a king size bed and private bath w/large walk in shower. Main floor has two large bedrooms with queen size beds and shared bathroom w/ large walk in shower. The main level is an open floor plan with living, dining, kitchen and separate large screen porch that faces the lake. Screen porch has 2 twin beds, sitting area, and TV. The elevated upper deck offers amazing views, relaxation on 2 loungers, and evening dining splendor. The lower level includes a pool table, 60" LG Smart HDTV, a large comfortable sectional, exercise equipment, and walks out to another full deck, outdoor shower, and the hot tub. The location is very convenient for walking to everything in the town of Long Lake including the main beach, grocery store, shops, restaurants, and ice cream. Our seasonal retreat is built in the authentic Adirondack boathouse camp style from 1917 typical of Long Lake, and has been converted with all modern amenities required for a relaxing authentic getaway in the mountains and all that encapsulates the essence of boathouse living in this historic structure. The dryland Boathouse, built to accompany Camp Kee-oh-Nekh, sits feet from the water and housed boats during the winter months with an upstairs billiards and game room through the 1990s.

While maintaining its unique Adirondack charm, the Boathouse boasts a modern kitchen, four bedrooms that sleep eight, 1.5 baths, a spacious open floor-plan living space, 100 feet of waterfront, and a dock with deep water boat access. First-floor heating and air-conditioning are supplemented by a wood stove, which keeps the cabin cozy during cool spring and fall days but bring along extra layers for those cool mornings in the mountains for this 3 season's cabin! The beautiful natural setting is a great asset with a long and winding unpaved drive past beautiful forestland to our lakefront cabin. You will want to drive more slowly than you think to take in the beauty! The natural stone-step path brings you down the hill from the parking area to the Boathouse and water’s edge. The indoors seamlessly meets with the outdoors at the Boathouse, whether you’re relaxing in the sun at our small sandy beach, drinking your morning coffee on the deck as the mist clears over the water, or opening the tri-fold front doors to listen to boats on the lake and breathe in the crisp mountain air.

Pulling yourself away from the Boathouse can be difficult, but plenty of amenities await your exploration in the Central Adirondacks. The famous Adirondack Experience in Blue Mtn. Lake, the Wild Center in Tupper Lake, hiking up Coney Mountain, Owls Head Mountain, or Castle Rock are all great options nearby.

Oh and don't forget to enjoy lakeside campfires on the beach with the portable fire pit or in the rustic fireplace on the hill! Also, take out the included kayak or canoe for a sunrise or sunset paddle!

The cottage, just a few steps away from the lodge towards the water, is a classic Adirondack camp offering terrific porches, too. The property is perfect for large family gatherings and has something for guests of all ages. The proximity to town is also a huge plus—we enjoyed daily walks to the bridge. Our host, Joe, was communicative, warm, and attentive. All in all, a magical trip our family will remember for years to come!"

Pictures accurately depict this beautiful cabin located right on Long Lake. We were pleasantly surprised by how clean and well stocked the cabin was(especially the kitchen). We informed the host that we would be celebrating Thanksgiving here and a gravy boat was kindly left for us! It was a great space for us to eat, play games, and enjoy nature. We would love to come back again, probably in warmer weather so we could make more use of the beautiful outdoor spaces as well."

- "Among the pines was a great property for our family (kids ages infant to 14 years). The house was super clean and comfortable. Very evident that lots of thought was put into providing a “home away from home”. The screened in porch is fantastic to enjoy the Adirondack evenings. Lots of lightning inside and outside the house. Air conditioned bedrooms and lots of fans provided for the rest of the house. The owner also thoughtfully provided many convenient items (laundry soap, dishwasher tablets, beach towels, even fire wood) for our use. The location of this property is fairly private, set far back from the road with yard and woods surrounding the house. Highly recommended!"

Enter The Cedarlands park preserve to the right , rolling gently down this dirt road thru private estate forests you’ll reach you destination on the left. You pull to the front door of the anew England log home cabin overlooking Big brook. You peer thru the treetops giving you the feeling of living in a treehouse. Enter thru the mud room ,crossover into the 1200 sq.ft kitchen, dining and living room with area . the huge fireplace with large hand carved mantle piece garnishes the center of attention , only then followed by the vast open view of the outdoor surroundings. A large 6 burner stove and griddle to cook for large groups. In in wall oven offering several modes air frying ,convection and more! The large laundry room is center of operations on first floor. Located in the master bedroom with a stand up shower, double sink,toilet. Outdoor fireplace, burn pit and hibachi all are here! The outdoor grounds offer plenty of walking, hiking, paddling whatever! This property connects to long lake via Big Brook.. It also borders the state cedarlands easement! Minutes from town . Canoes kayaks picnic tables On premises. Excellent spot for hunters as we join almost 2000 acres of state easement. And great for snowmobilers. Quick and easy access to the lake and many trails.

- "ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS PROPERTY!!! We loved EVERYTHING about this property! We LOVED it so much we have booked it for next 4th of July week again. Enjoyed the access to the water and 10-15 minute kyak/canoe to Long Lake. The screened porch that goes the entire length of the house was heavenly. The Great Room was well GREAT! Cooking for for the family was sooooooo easy and nice with the 6 burner stove(and small griddle) and the VERY modern oven. Along with the large gas grill on the open deck with the restaurant style griddle as well. There was also a gas grill on the screened in porch that we used when it was raining. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this property. Sam and Sheri were very responsive hosts. Thank you!"

The Lakeside was originally built in the early 1900s and has been many things over the years- a Jazz dance hall, a speakeasy, a well-loved local eatery & Tavern, and most recently a personal residence. Set on a tranquil, quiet lake in the HEART of the Adirondack Forest, this property is truly One of a Kind. There is a huge stone fireplace in the great room and a beautifully maintained large Horseshoe Bar with a dart board and many board games provided. The kitchen still has many of the amenities that it had when it was a restaurant including 2 ovens with hood, dishwasher, an industrial sink for cleaning up those big family dinners! The house is 4500 square feet with four+ bedrooms (the small room between bedroom # 3 & 5 has a twin bunk bed- it's connecting and not a traditional "bedroom"), a great room, family room, billiards room, 2 full baths and 2 half baths. There is plenty of room for friends & family to spread out and relax. There is also a fire pit down by the water for your nightly smores!

The camp includes 125 feet of private sandy beach with a new dock, one canoe, two kayaks, and 8 adult life vests for your use- bring your own boat or rent from the marina in town. The camp is easily accessible, right on Rt. 28N with plenty of parking and only minutes away from town beach, grocery store, restaurants, shopping, and ice cream stands. A half mile down the road is Mt. Sabattis Recreation area which has a farmer's market, mountain bike & walking trails, tennis, pickle ball & basketball. Long Lake is a 14 mile natural lake, we are close to the Adirondack Museum in Blue Mountain Lake, The Wild Center in Tupper Lake, and the Olympic village of Lake Placid is only an hour drive. It is quite literally the most beautiful and quintessential Adirondack escape!

- "This was a family reunion group, so we had all ages, we were impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was, loved the double oven. We used every inch of the 3 refrigerators. Huge living area, with a pool table, sitting on the deck to watch sunrises and sunsets was an extra bonus. The dock looked new. Swimming area was great, we wished there was a ladder at the end of the dock. But overall a great place, and we all enjoyed it!!"
