This comfortable 2 story home in Diamond Point is easy distance to everything, beach, boats, bars, restaurants, etc. The basic home has a relaxed feel and a private serene backyard with a brook running through. The house has many modern amenities such as 2 newer full bathrooms, one with tub. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 with queen beds and a third with 2 sets of bunk beds (twins on top, fulls on bottom) and a pullout couch in the living room. Driveway holds 3 cars.

We have wireless internet and a signal for those with Verizon cell phones.

Diamond Point is halfway between the Town of Bolton Landing and the Village of Lake George, both of which you can drive to in under 10 minutes. In Bolton Landing you will find many great restaurants, the Bolton Landing public beach and dock, and Topps grocery store. Lake George Village boasts plenty of bars, restaurants, amusement arcades, boating and parasailing, mini golf, ice cream shops, gift shops, the Adirondack Brewery and much more! A bit further down the road you will find outlet shopping and Six Flags Great Escape. In addition to the LG village and Bolton Landing, Warrensburg is about 10 minutes up the road from the home where you will find the Schroon River, (great for kayaking and fishing),antique shops, a meat smoke house, fish hatchery, the Hudson River and much more.
The home's location is also great for Golfers, with some beautiful courses within 15-25 minutes.
Winter:
This is a 4 season house that is 30 minutes from Gore Mountain and an easy day tip to West Mountain, Hickory Mountain, and White Face for those who like to ski. Also, once the lake freezes over Winter Fest kicks off. Many people come to enjoy riding their ATV's and snow mobiles out on the lake for daily cruises as well as for the organized races on the southern part of the lake. Snow shoeing up Buck Mountain is also a great winter hike that is right near the house and has spectacular views.

Firewood as available for beach bonfires.

The Guesthouse sits about 150' back from the beach. There is a filtered view of the lake from the deck and guesthouse. A private trail leads you down to the beach.

Woodland House is truly lovely, a dream of a house, where you will feel at home the minute you walk in. NOW FEBRUARY AND MARCH RATES HAVE BEEN REDUCED 10 PERCENT. AND THE WINTER CARNIVAL IS ON EVERY WEEKEND IN FEBRUARY. Just ASK the owner for that when booking.

Americade week, May 27-May 31 is still available! A really comfortable place for a group of Americaders. Eight beds: two queens, one double, four twins, and a cot. And four full bathrooms.

Though there are 47 acres of woods behind it, the house is only 200 feet from the highway--you are not far from civilization! With four really spacious bedrooms and four full baths, it sleeps ten comfortably. All bedding provided but not towels.
Though the house is on the west side of Route 9N and has no direct access to the lake, there are two beaches and playgrounds in Bolton Landing 4 miles and in Lake George Village 6 miles south, Several marinas to rent a boat are within 4 miles away as well,
We designed and built the house on the 47-acre wooded property where you have total privacy and no other houses visible. As one guest put it, "This house has to be experienced to know how perfectly lovely and welcoming and comforting it is."
Its interior of beautiful knotty pine walls and ceilings, including the vaulted ceiling of the great room, and the hardwood floors make for a truly Adirondack experience. Decorations are sparse, "but elegant," as one guest wrote. The four full bathrooms are quite an unusual luxury we are told. And everything you need is provided, others say.
The owner lives 2 miles away will be quick to respond to your questions or problems. Views from the tall windows of the great room are all of woods. in the winter and on chilly nights you will enjoy the propane-fired Vermont Castings "woodstove." A new 55-inch smart TV can be viewed from anywhere in the great room and kitchen. Ping-Pong on the screened porch is fun for all ages. And we welcome your children and pets.

The easy access to the lake made it possible to do some fishing and boating in between the raindrops. Melissa was very communicative and responsive to any of our questions or needs. This contemporary home is located in Bolton Landing, on quiet and secluded Homer Point. , Homer Point is slightly south of Bolton with its quaint shops and eateries, and only 10 minutes north of the Lake George Village. The home is situated on the west side of Lake George. Facing the Three Brothers Islands, the property has an outstanding view of the islands, the lake, Buck Mountain to the east and Shelving Rock to the Northeast. The Narrows and Glen Island ranger station are just minutes away by boat.

88 Homer is pleasingly situated on 1.1 private acres with plenty of parking. The main floor includes a half bath and laundry room, master bedroom with a king bed and en suite bathroom plus a second full bath accessible from the lake side deck. The kitchen includes a second fridge and prep-area for packing up your picnic lunch, great room with skylight, fireplace, a flat screen TV, and decks leading to the screened-in porch.

The second floor hallway is open to the great room, and leads to a full bath, two bedrooms with queen and twin beds and an attached study with bunk beds for two. A deck off of the study leads to a second story deck above the screened porch. The house sleeps 10 and is well stocked with towels, sheets, and bedding. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and eating in, with dishes, utensils, pots/pans and appliances. The home is serviced by high speed internet (WiFi) and cable TV. A gas grill is available on the lower deck.

The pathway from the house to the lake leads to the boathouse that provides docking for 2-3 boats outside, and two spaces inside the boat house. Water depth at the dock is 6+ feet. The dock areas around the boat house are large and well suited to swimming, lounging and sunning. Ladders are available for entering and exiting the lake. Adjacent the boathouse is a single stake dock for additional boats and more swimming and fishing! A fire pit near the water’s edge is nicely surrounded by Adirondack chairs.

Winter time brings plenty of activity too. Gore Mountain ski area (vertical drop 2,536 ft) has a Gondola and chairlifts, and is only 26 miles from the house. West Mountain has chairlifts, it's a bit smaller (vertical drop of 1,010 feet) but only 10 miles from Homer Point. The famous Sagamore Hotel is open on weekends throughout the winter, and offers extended hours on select holidays. Fredericks restaurent in Bolton is open year-round, as it Tops Market and the Price Chopper supermarket in Warrensburgh. Price Chopper, Aldi's Market, and Hannaford's Market are all open in Glen's Falls, 20 minutes away.
