Welcome to Schroon Lake Serenity, a 3-bedroom, 2-bath, private year-round retreat located within the beautiful Adirondack Park on Schroon Lake.

This 1350 sq. ft. home with retro mid-century charm is surrounded by trees and built over a woodland stream. It has a glass panel in the floor for viewing the stream in the dining area. Modern conveniences include a Smart TV, WiFi, newer kitchen appliances, A/C & washer/dryer. Recent upgrades/renovations were completed in Fall/Winter 2023-2024.

Schroon Lake Serenity enjoys gorgeous lake views, both from the house and at the waterfront located less than 50 yards from the front door. The best is the private 100’ beach and dock, easily accessed by crossing East Shore Drive. Back at the house, a large, expansive deck with gas grill provides a lovely space for outdoor meals and general relaxation.

The master bedroom has a king-size bed with a view of the lake. The two guest bedrooms have queen-sized beds. All bedrooms share a full bath. There is a pull-out queen sofa in the back living room. Note: all the upstairs bedrooms have open ceilings which add to the charm of the home.

Schroon Lake Serenity is perfect for those who opt to rent in a secluded, quiet part of the Adirondacks that’s just a short drive to a local store, town, or highway. Ideal for families, couples, friends' getaways, and work-group / meditative retreats. There's plenty of room for a yoga mat (or more!) on the deck at the house or the floating dock on the lake. Kids will love exploring the natural surroundings - both the stream & the beach.

We want you to relax and feel comfortable at your home away from home. Feel free to watch the old VHS tapes/DVDs, use the games, and borrow books from the library. Get cozy in front of the wood-burning fireplace in the living room, or have fun roasting marshmallows at the movable fire pit on the beach. Additional amenities include two stand-up paddleboards, two kayaks (with adult life jackets), and a junior/kids' kayak for your exclusive enjoyment at the waterfront.

Valentine Pond House is set in Adirondack. It is situated 45 km from Fort William Henry and features free WiFi plus an ATM. Cozy lakeside cottage with private dock. Great for canoe, kayak, fishing, or just relaxing in the water. Waterside has a raised platform for campfires in the fire pit provided. The interior of the cabin features a bedroom with a queen bed, and a couch that converts to a full bed. Full kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave, Keurig, and toaster. full bath with walk-in shower. The best part inside is the view from the living room of the hillside across the lake, a great place to read a book and relax.
Close to Schroon Lake and Brant Lake, both with public boat launches. 20 minutes from Bolton Landing on Lake George and only 30 minutes from the historic Village of Lake George, outlet shopping and Six Flags.

The style of the camp is decidedly Adirondack with a more sophisticated approach to the ground and second floors and a more playful design for the recreation-oriented lower level. The lower level has two bedrooms and two sets of bunks with a full bathroom. The ground and lower level bathrooms are of equal quality. The second floor bathroom offers a deep soaking tub and shower.

It’s important to us that you thoroughly enjoy your stay. This is a wonderful property to unwind with a drink in hand, an album on the record player or a good book in hand.

We have installed a 120” projector screen which makes a great experience for watching movies or football games on the Apple TV.

There are bunk rooms on the lower level which has a walkout to the lake. There is also a working woodstove on this level. In the summer, there is an outdoor shower on this level which is lovely to use after a swim in the lake.

Any special requests, we are happy to try to accommodate - especially for special occasions.

Note that the lake is very peaceful and quiet. This is not the party scene of Lake George. This is the place you go for pristine water, great fishing, refreshing swimming and an early morning spin in the kayak. Guests are asked to be respectful of the surrounding neighbors as it is a small community.

The lake and lake access were very convenient and we all had so much fun swimming, kayaking, and lounging. The cabin is within a reasonable drive to other locations like Lake George Village etc. The owners were gracious in leaving us a personalized note, s’mores ingredients and wine as a welcome. They were also incredibly responsive during a power glitch that was no fault of theirs and generous in making sure we were all comfy. This impeccably clean and large cabin will be love at first sight! The charming log cabin is over 1700sq feet and is everything you want in an Adirondack retreat.

You will enjoy a very large kitchen that is open to a spacious and inviting living room with vaulted ceiling and sky light and adjoining attached porch with a view of the front acre of the property. The upstairs bedrooms have two queen size beds each and the master a gorgeous new king size log bed.

All new gravel patio and fire pit is complete and allows for starry nights and stories by campfire and of course smores! Make sure you bring your guitar, uke, or harmonica! New for this summer a charcoal grill.

Two large porches to sit on and enjoy the birds singing and morning coffee or evening cocktail. The front porch has two traditional Cracker Barrel rockers and once child sized rocker. The side porch has a bench and a picnic table for dining outside.

Grab your towels and beach gear and walk across the street to Schroon Lake Manor Campground, a small fee to walk to the lake through the campground OR take the free state park path entrance to the north side of the driveway. It’s secluded and like your own private beach! Either way you will enjoy the incredible lake! For $20 a day you can rent kayaks from the campground too!

Town is 5 minutes away with great shops, restaurants, grocery, big public beach, park and boat launch. Mt. Gore and Lake George are each 30 min. away. A 45 min. drive will bring you to Lake Placid.

- "My husband, kids and I had a great stay at this cozy little cabin. Nicole gave great directions to get there, the cabin has everything you need to cook, grill and relax. Beds were super comfy too. And the kids enjoyed ping pong matches nightly. Unfortunately, the rain in the area has flooded the hidden beach across the street at the cabin. The campground had a nice beach though, and the drive into Lake George Village was only about 25 minutes. Overall, a wonderful stay!"

Welcome to Wunineet which means "It is good" in Mohican. If your looking for a big and loud party house this place is not for you. If you desire to wake up to clean air and a peaceful cup of coffee as you sit by Clearwater Lake with Brant Lake only a 2 minute walk away, you found your place. Located on the North side of Brant Lake, Wunineet is on a 1/4 mile long picturesque lake only a short walk to the association beach on Brant Lake. Bring your boat!!! The association has a free boat launch for guests. The lofted 1000 SF cabin has a separate bedroom with a queen bed on the first floor, another queen bed in the loft. Also, a bonus room for one adult or 2 children over the porch that overlooks beautiful Clearwater Lake. Enjoy the 2 kayaks, rowboat and paddleboard right outside your door. Ideal kayaking for children because parents will see them wherever they roam. Also, if you never used a paddleboard, Clearwater Lake is perfect to learn on. I'm only looking for small families or quiet couples. Out of respect for the other association members (only 15), I do not allow large gatherings or more than a few visitors for the day. In addition, we are only 12 minutes off of Northway exit 25. 15 minutes to a grocery store, dollar store. restaurants, old fashion ice cream parlor and pharmacy. Lake George Village is 23 minutes, Great Escape 30 minutes, Bolton Landing 20 minutes, Hague (Northern LG) 10 minutes, and Saratoga 45 minutes away. An easy drive to all of those fun locations and after being with all of the tourists, you can go home to total peace and quiet. I cant wait to welcome you to Wunineet where my goal is to establish guests that treat it like their own and return for years to come. We are dog people so of course they are allowed if house trained, well behaved and friendly. 1 large or 2 small (under 20 lbs) dogs are welcome. Guests bring their own linens and towels. All kitchen dishes, pots pans and utensils are provided.

Also a great time to hike and bike. The Wintertime it’s about winter hiking, downhill or cross country skiing, snowshoeing, ice-fishing. ENJOY!

It’s an easy 30 minute drive to Gore Mountain, and there’s a general store next door open on weekends in the winter with great food. The property owners are responsive and good hosts. It snowed 6” the first night we arrived and they arrived first thing in the morning to plow the driveway. They also shared rec’s for local hiking trails and dropped off sleds for the kids to use. We really enjoyed our time at this property!"

- "Wonderful memories" - "A lovely home to enjoy the Adirondacks....We hated to leave!" - "Drove up from Virginia for a family reunion at Schroon Lake and was looking for a large house to hold the family. This home did not disappoint! This beautiful, updated, well stocked, and clean log cabin was so nice to stay in. The views from the patio and through the large windows are spectacular. Just be aware that it is definitely on a hill and the driveway and walkways are quite steep. The dock is great and we were able to board a pontoon boat without issue, but there is no beach to swim off of. The host was easy to reach and responded quickly to all questions. We would stay here again!"

Parts of this home are air-conditioned from approximately Memorial Day until Labor Day each year. This home does not have central air conditioning.

Please take trash to the Brant Lake/Horicon Landfill/Transfer Station on Tannery Road (go to corner of State Route 8 and Tannery Road and look for landfill sign). We recommend calling early in your stay to find out fees and open days.

- "The great room IS a great room; the rest of the house is functional. STrange that there were no instructions for cleaning up, etc., nor where to go for groceries etc. I felt awkward checking out without knowing if I should do something with the garbage. The water tasted great - no minerals in the well! I was there for a week in September and saw two people the whole time: just what I wanted! Oh, and it is pitch black and quiet at night... great sleeping!"

Private and quiet lake house with 300 feet of combined dock and private beach waterfront on the beautiful east shore of Schroon Lake. Gorgeous lake and mountain views from every room of this 5 bedroom, 2 ½ bath house, complete with your 100 foot private beach and boat slip. Boat dock accommodates more than one boat/watercraft and other slips may be occupied. The house sleeps 10 comfortably. It is not ADA compliant. The adjacent houses on either side are 75 feet away, vacant forest is behind, and the water is in the front, providing seclusion.
On the first floor the house has an outdoor deck with electric sunshade and an adjacent sunroom with floor to ceiling windows for dining, relaxing and watching the evening sunsets over Schroon Lake. The kitchen has a cooking island with new stainless appliances, including a dishwasher. Family room has a big screen TV with Wi-Fi and a beautiful pellet stove for chilly evenings. There is a half bath off the kitchen.
On the second floor there is a large primary suite which has a flatscreen TV, with a private balcony for relaxing, having morning coffee and taking in the gorgeous views. Within the large primary suite is a second bedroom, sitting area and a primary bathroom with TWO showers and a bathtub. The primary suite has a king size bed and in the adjoining bedroom a bunk bed with full and twin beds.
On the other side of the second floor is a full laundry room with new front load washer & dryer and three bedrooms – each with a queen size bed and one shared full bath with shower and bathtub. Each room has views of the lake and mountains.
Across the street is access to the lake with private beach and a boat slip -great for boating, sailing, jet skiing, kayaking, water skiing or any type of water activity. Nearby is hiking, extreme ropes course, sightseeing, mini-golf, amusement park, outlet shopping, restaurants, nightclubs, horseback riding, golfing, bicycling, mountain biking, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, tubing, ice fishing and snow shoeing. Gore Mountain Skiing is 20 minutes away (you can see it from the house) and Whiteface skiing is 45 minutes. In the Fall, the foliage on the mountains are a tapestry of beautiful colors.
The Town of Schroon Lake is about 10 miles from the house and has a golf course, tennis and basketball courts, restaurants and must-see art deco movie theater. Within walking distance is the local Adirondack store.
We’ve been vacationing in the Adirondacks for 15 years and are still discovering all the things to do and see in this area. The stresses of everyday will melt away as you wake up each day looking at the lake and mountains.

- "My family had a great time on our annual family vacation at this beautiful home on Schroon Lake. The home was very clean and well-stocked with everything needed. Our favorite room to have family meals and to play games at night was the sunroom with amazing views of the lake. The lakefront area is spacious and sandy and an easy area to access the lake for swimming, floating, kayaking. We loved that there was a cabana to store all of our chairs and inflatables while we were there. You do have to walk down/uphill and across the street to get to and from the house and the lake, but my family didn’t find it to be too big of a deal. The hosts, Neil and Joanne, are very accommodating and gracious hosts."

Wrap yourself in comfort, style, and tranquility as you enjoy the ultimate luxury lakeside living experience! 1 hour from Albany; 45 minutes from Saratoga Springs; 25 minutes from Gore Mountain Ski Resort; 15 minutes from Dynamite Hill; Minutes from the public snowmobile trails. Lake Lodge is available for weekly rentals (Saturday - Saturday) from the last week of May through the first week of September. There is a three night minimum rental (flexible check-in/check-out) for dates outside of the Summer time-frames listed above.

The boat house is available for use by Lake Lodge renters.
Back up generator will accommodate the Lake Lodge in the unlikely event you loose power.

GUEST ACCESS:
You have access to all main living areas within the Lake Lodge. There are a few areas that are not accessible to guests: the garage, shed, storage room, and upstairs attic space. There is a spacious deck available for your enjoyment that overlooks the Lake. There is plenty of exterior furniture to use for your relaxation, and al fresco dining! The outside grill is available for your use.

The boat house is available for your use which can accommodate up to three water crafts. In the event you require assistance with launching your boat or docking, please don't hesitate to call or email me. A public boat launch is available, and is about a 5 minute drive from the Lake Lodge. The Brant Lake Marina is a convenient spot to re-fuel your boat, or grab a quick snack. Boat rentals are also available! Enjoy the excitement of taking your jet skis to the Hub for lunch! The Hub offers a lunch menu, has delicious hops from local breweries, and tasty ice cream! There's also great mountain biking, and hiking trails behind the Hub Restaurant offering 200 acres of recreational land. The Hub is also your spot for bicycle repairs or tune ups if required during your stay. There are many hiking trails within Brant Lake, and the surrounding Adirondack Park. If you're looking to spend some time shopping, Chestertown is just minutes away, while Bolton Landing is about a 25 minute drive, and well worth the visit!

ABOUT BRANT LAKE:
Brant Lake has been a popular fishing, and hunting area among prominent visitors since the mid-1880's. Some of the most prominent visitors include Theadore Roosevelt, and Frank Sinatra. Summer camps for youth were established in the early to mid-1900's, and remain open today including Point O'Pines, Brant Lake Camp, Camp Read, and the Pilgrim Camp. Among these Summer camps, are also vacation homes, as well as homes of those who live on Brant Lake year-round. These camps, and homes line the perimeter of the lake. The lake is surrounded by glacial mountains, and serves as an Adirondack jewel. Bike the only route around the lake where the road hugs the shoreline for an unforgettable view. Back country roads, and rugged terrain make this a mountain biker's delight. The Lake Lodge serves as an unforgettable Adirondack destination on a private peninsula with over 100 feet of recreational lakefront space for you, and your family to enjoy!
