MONTE DA LINDA cottage, recently built in traditional region's architecture, is set in a big plot of land located in Melides, a typical small village on Alentejo's coast. A quiet place to enjoy some days or relaxation, anytime of the year. The ideal place to go to the beach if you're one of those people who prefer almost deserted beaches.
The cottage is located just 1 Km from the village and 5 Kms from the beach.
In the village of Melides, amongst the white houses you find typical handcraft, markets, nice restaurants, bank, a church from the seventeenth century with images from the era is well worth a visit.
The cottage has 3 bedrooms. The main bedroom with double bed and a second bedroom has one large single bed . Separate bathroom. A 3rd bedroom ( independent entrance but attached to the main house), with 2 single beds and private bathroom. Fully equipped open plan kitchen. There is a separate utility room with washing machine. Lounge with typical fireplace, leads to the garden and terrace, TV and sofas.
It can be rented with 3 bedrooms ( MAX for 5 people, including adults and children) or 2 bedrooms ( 3 people).

Our place is up to 8 people, 5min drive from the nearest beach and less than 1km from the centre of Melides. House with 1 ensuite bedroom plus 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. 2 living room areas and a kitchen/ dining room. Large porch with an outside living room area and dining table. The house has a pool and a nice terrace ideal for sunsets. It is integrated in a spacious area of land that gives the house the necessary privacy. The land is all fenced and is rich in fruit trees, mainly orange trees, but also tangerines, lemon and loquat trees. From the terrace there is a beautiful view over the rice fields of Melides. We are very close to the village, for those who like to walk, it is possible to go on foot or ideally by bicycle if you have one.
