The beach is around 4 km away, and a car is necessary to navigate the gravel road leading to the property. Due to the very high price, we felt that the overall value for money wasn’t quite right considering the surroundings. As lovely as the interior is, we wouldn’t choose to book again for that reason."

- "We only used this hotel to stay overnight while traveling from The Algarve to Lisbon. But it was more than adequate for that. The rooms were a little dated but very clean and well maintained. The building is located within easy walking distance of the town, restaurants, and the beach. Porto Covo is a nice small town, and parking was easy. The staff was very nice and spoke English, which we appreciated. Facility was quiet but be advised their is no front desk help from midnight to 8:00. Overall, worked perfect for what we needed for a short stay."
