- "We only used this hotel to stay overnight while traveling from The Algarve to Lisbon. But it was more than adequate for that. The rooms were a little dated but very clean and well maintained. The building is located within easy walking distance of the town, restaurants, and the beach. Porto Covo is a nice small town, and parking was easy. The staff was very nice and spoke English, which we appreciated. Facility was quiet but be advised their is no front desk help from midnight to 8:00. Overall, worked perfect for what we needed for a short stay."

It is very difficult to describe this house. You will only understand when you arrive.
The relationship with the ocean is mesmerizing. And the interior is fully equipped and decorated by a family of architects, for whom every detail is important.
The best sheets, the best pillows, the best bath towels. Furniture designed specifically for the home, family photos on the wall, carefully chosen objects, including the kitchen.
The house has two bedrooms: one with double bed and one with 4 beds, in bunk beds confortable for adults and children. It is only 200m from the beach and 200m from the village of Porto Covo where everything can be done on foot.
June and September are ideal for the beach. October to May are ideal for walking and surfing (see www.rotavicentina.com and www.costazulsurf.com).
We have heaters in all compartments. We do not have TV antenna or cable but we have a good collection of DVDs, especially for children.

O Casão Porto Covo dwells in an open land over the Ocean, by the little harbour and facing the Pessegueiro Island. It has 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms.

O Casão is an ancient coal warehouse from the 19th century. In the sixties it was converted in a holidays house.

From 2104 to 2015, it was refurbished with project by Architect João Favila Menezes.

The original materials were respected with wooden roof and windows, lime plasters and so on.

- "Excellent. The only thing we did not like was the exposure to the public walkways and paths; it will be perfect when the hedges and bushes have grown taller to provide more privacy. Also some of the appliances were new to us, but we figured them out. A stunning property for those who love the surf and the salt air." - "During our too-short stay , we fell completely in love with O Casão, Porto Covo and the hiking trails along the dramatic coastline . The house's main attraction is the incredible view of the Atlantic. We spent hours watching the ever-changing seascape while drinking our morning coffees and sipping glasses of wine in the evening. Lots of thought has been put into furnishing O Casão. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped (Nespresso machine, electric juicer for making fresh orange juice, etc). There's also a bluetooth speaker in the living room so that you can listen to your favorite music. Porto Covo may be small but it has a very good market with fresh fish, vegetables and fruit. (Be sure to buy some of the Portuguese oranges for juice!) Following Alexandra's tips, we also ate some very good meals in local restaurants. With its sweeping view of the ocean, the living room is also the perfect place to do yoga. We enjoyed our stay so much that we're already looking forward to our next visit to O Casão! :)"

' Ideally situated within 50 meters of beach called 'Praia Pequena', this house was completely remodeled in 2012, in order to provide all possible comfort and serenity.

With the blue sea as a backdrop, all the decoration was based on that framework and thought to the smallest detail. With all privacy, this villa has a sea view on the horizon, as well as the predominantly green landscape in protected natural park.
