- "The attendant at the desk was very kind and helpful, and the check-in went smoothly. Unfortunately, once in the room, the tub faucet was broken and I nearly fell into the tub when I went to pull up the shower knob on top of the faucet. The showerhead needed replacing, it caused the water pressure to be crazily all over the place. The curtains were removed and they replaced them with pull-down shades. That wouldn't have been so bad if it weren't for the spotlights out in the parking lot shining into the room around the edges of the window shades. Also if you were outside the window, you could see into the room around the edges of the shades! The toilet also ran constantly all night long. We were exhausted from the trip down there and didn't discover these problems till it was time to shower and get into bed. Other than that the bed was very comfortable and the airconditioner worked well."

On Friday, so I could have gotten into it earlier. The room was clean. Everything worked well. Good Internet speeds. I don't know. It's just different than my usual visit to a motel 6. I usually go to these types of places because I'm looking for a place to stop, sit down and sleep, get up, shower, and hit the road again. I had a little longer stay. I know it's odd, but I wish I had more time there. Because it was very comfortable. As I said, I've been to Motel 6 many times. Stuff in the room doesn't work, or it's fallen apart. Slow connectivity and ventilation, as well as poor beds, are normally very uncomfortable. But this one was much better."

The space was tidy and anything we needed to know was clearly spelled out in the welcome book and marked around the house. Enjoy a renovated 1962 Airstream trailer outfitted with all the comforts of home, including a kitchenette, shower, and queen bed. Relax and roast marshmallows around the fire pit, catch a glimpse of deer and other wildlife, or take a nature walk to spy the friendly horses and cattle in the surrounding meadows. 15 minutes from Madisonville and Crockett.

The property is flying off-grid with utilities including a well, solar power, septic, and even Starlink internet. It also features a native Texas ecosystem that we are continuing to preserve, including wildflowers and wildlife! There are still areas of the property that are under construction, but we do our best to give our guests privacy and a peaceful stay.

If you want to host a party, please do so elsewhere. Otherwise, guests of all backgrounds are welcome. Maximum occupancy is 3 guests; please contact us if you have additional day use visitors. We do have video monitoring outside, so we can make sure only approved guests are on-site.

You must be 25 years or older to rent this property. Guest Occupancy Agreement signature is required. No smoking, vaping, or pets are allowed on the property. Payments are processed via our secure main booking system.
