Across the street from the Whaling museum and only minutes from the Zieterion Theatre. breakfast just on the corner and lunch /dinner just down the street at my Favorite restaurant Cork wine and Tapas. Parking in the street or at Elm street Parking garage a few blocks away. Just few minutes walk back. No cable tv only streaming. Netflix etc.

This apartment is about 1200 sq ft. with an open concept living/dining area, 3 spacious bedrooms and expansive views of the working waterfront. There is a stairwell with two flights to access the space, at the top of the stairs, next to your door is a utilities closet, and a washer and dryer fully stocked for your use. One of our bedrooms has a deck and a slider perfect for relaxing, people watching, and soaking in the salty air.

Perfect for a family, or a group of friends, there is plenty of common space to share with guests. Lounge and snuggle on the couch with a coffee, host a brunch, or an intimate cocktail party in the evening.

Upstairs, the loft is very tranquil making it the perfect place to do your morning stretches, yoga, or just simple meditation.

Outside your door is the best the area has to offer! Walk our cobblestone streets, marvel at the well preserved historic district, and visit the Whaling Museum at the top of our street. New Bedford is known for is strong culture that can best be experienced at many eateries, galleries, and shops. There truly is something for everyone.

On the first Thursday of the month we celebrate AHa! a mini festival that invites people from all over to enjoy downtown. Across the street from our lot, is a jazz band, providing us a front row seat to the concert.

Right outside our door is a parking space that you may use during your stay. If your car is small, you can fit 2 cars in the lane way. The second floor of the building is an office, and during the week there are two spaces in the lot for their use.

Small but cute 1st floor apartment, 2 bedrooms (one queen bed with Nectar mattress, second bedroom has a pull out couch with full size bed). One mile to the ports, one mile to downtown, quarter mile to Clasky Common Park. Access to highways, both route 140 and Interstate 195 are very close by. Plenty of free street parking. No smoking.

This is my apartment, so there will be clothes in the closet, and food in the fridge. Other arrangements can be discussed for a longer-term stay.

There is an outdoor area with a table and string lights and fake grass. The outdoor area is shared space, but it is available for you to use.

- "We were pleasantly surprised by the ground floor apartment at Paula's place. The check-in process was easy and Paula was quick to answer questions. Paula's place is squeaky clean AND dog-friendly! Although we did not cook, there is everything there anyone would need who wanted to take advantage to the abundant seafood and traditional Portuguese foodstuffs available in New Bedford. The queen bed was quite comfortable, and the bedroom has a celling fan which I appreciated. My friend found that the sofa bed was not to her liking, but she was able to sleep well on the living room sofa. Paula very generously refunded a portion our money for the inconvenience. The fenced yard was a major plus for us as we had two dogs with us. What a luxury to be able to let them out in the morning before walking the interesting and varied streets of New Bedford! Paula's place was very clean, and the bathroom was spotless. The living room was a pleasant space where we could talk over our day and make plans for the next. We would definitely like to stay at Paula's place in New Bedford again."

- "My friend and I were looking for a place to stay for a last minute day-trip to Nantucket. This property was great for that purpose and Angelino was a very responsive host. One thing to note is that while there is plenty of free street parking, there is no onsite parking even though we were told there was one spot available. I think this might have been due to some confusion regarding which property we had actually booked."

- "This was so nice I actually wanted to stay longer. First of all, the home is absolutely beautiful. From the hardwood floors, to the wonderful floor plan, to the large kitchen, the super comfortable Den, dining room layout with authentic wood furniture, and all the many small intricate characterizations throughout.. Just the first floor when you walking through here is just so nice. Going upstairs You can see the craftsmanship of authentic build that no longer exists today. Meanwhile, everything seems to be in excellent condition. The warmth of this home is difficult to explain in words. Even to the touch of lighting throughout the entire home in bedrooms, everything was just laid out so sweet. After a few nights I started to realize that the neighborhood is very kind and comfortable as well. Parking was never an issue, and the neighborhood was very comfortable. I spoke with one of the neighbors who told me he had been here for 9 years and most of the people around here have been here for many years. The neighborhood seems to be filled with kindness. I walked to Dillan's for breakfast twice. They make the best omelets with shredded linguisa lol. There's something special about this neighborhood that was surreal. I also walked to and attended mass at St Lawrence Church very close by. Walked downtown a couple times too, which was nearby. It's a very nice walk. The location, and nearby amenities is great. Highly recommended five-star home. "
