Set 1,000 ft. off the main road, our cottage is nestled in the middle of 18 acres of private woodlands, yet 1/2 mile from Rt.195. This single family, 2 bedroom 1,500 sq.ft cottage offers complete privacy. 18 ft peaked ceilings throughout the 1st floor.. living area/dining area , galley kitchen, main bedroom and bath. The cottage is surrounded by dense woodlands with wild turkeys, deer, turtles and other wildlife. There's also a short walking path into the woods, leading to my 1,300 tree dwarf cider apple/asian pear orchard.. This is a single family home and the renter is the only occupant. There's an outdoor grill, large covered fireplace, and hammock for use. Two bedrooms sleep 4. The second bedroom is via the (narrow)spiral stairs to a LOWER walkout level with direct outdoor walk-out access. Two night minimum stay. No parties. The cottage is professionally cleaned to my high standards. Additional disinfectants are available for your convenience.
Please note: if you smoke indoors you will lose your deposit. Theres 18 acres outdoors to enjoy a smoke. Everything indoors must be cleaned and washed when it smells of smoke. Also, the map makes the cottage look like it's in the breakdown lane of Rt.195

- "Nice view of the river. I arrived at night and was a little disappointed I could not really see the river however the river is just not lit up very well in this area. In the morning it was beautiful view of the river. We enjoyed a cup of coffee on the balcony looking over the courtyard at the river. - "We were a bit underwhelmed by the property. It was a bit more run down then we expected. Not sure what the issue was but there was police presence when we got there, which was concerning. And not that it was the property’s fault but some of the guests were a bit noisy late at night. It was fine for one night and served it’s purpose, we were only there to sleep."
