The Home is in a small neighborhood, behind a remote controlled gate. Guests will receive a message before their arrival with instructions on how to open the gate.

-Home is located directly on the river and you will have private access to river.

-There is a freeway located behind the cabin which does bring noise. Home is well insulated and traffic noise is usually not an issue for guests due to river proximity. We just want guests to be aware if you are sensitive to these noises

-Power outages can occur during winter months. Though rare, it does happen when trees fall. If this happens during your stay, you can wait for the power to be restored (usually a few hours) or message me and checkout and remainder of your stay will be reimbursed.

-During winter months (Also Rare) the freeway may close down due to high snow level. If you are going to check in and this is the case your stay will also be reimbursed.

Situated just across from the Palouse to Cascades Trail and nestled in a canopy of evergreens, it is the perfect spot to meditate, read, write, paint or satisfy your hunger to hike, kayak, bike, golf, or ski.

The Chalet has soaring ceilings matched by sweeping views of the boulder-filled, foamy whitewater river and towering fir, aspen, cedar, and hemlock. Eagle and Osprey fish happily here, while Mallards and Heron have also claimed the river for sunning and fishing. Elk, deer, and squirrel can be seen and lend to the feeling of blending with nature. The downstairs bedroom is fitted with a queen Tempurpedic mattress. The upstairs loft bedroom has a four-poster with a firmer queen mattress with memory foam toppers for extra comfortable rest. There is also a single sleigh bed in the loft for a child or extra guest. The loft is 400 sq. feet, so there is plenty of room for the cots located in the closet for extra little sleepers! We are located 10 minutes from the Snoqualmie Casino, which features world-class dining and entertainment! The town of North Bend is the home of the legendary Twin Peaks filming and Twedes Cafe, where memorabilia abound. Twin Falls St. Park, Mt. Si and trails, Rattlesnake Lake and hiking trails, and the Palouse to Cascade Trail are all within either walking or biking distance or minutes by car. Snoqualmie Pass ski slopes are just fifteen minutes east! We have supplied games and books, TV with Xfinity and internet, and a hearth to warm yourself and loved ones by.

Get past a writer's block, rest from the city's chaos, or just come to have a welcome change of pace! This comfortable nest will be a delight to arrive at and hard to leave!
Tip: Unload car to front deck. Remove your outdoor shoes to bench or handy rack on deck and slip on clean shoes. Then load in! So remember to bring some slippers or slip on shoes!

Use PET Sheets provided and bring your own. Excessive pet hair on comforters/furniture requires dry cleaning, which will be deducted from the deposit. PLEASE KEEP THE YARD CLEAN! PICK UP AND DISPOSE OF PET WASTE TO GARBAGE CONTAINER IN DRIVEWAY.
2. Strip beds & place ONE set of sheets into the washer and No More than TWO bath towels. Leave the balance of soiled linens in the basket. DO NOT START WASHER.
3. Wash all dishes in the dishwasher, then please put them away.
4. Wipe down counters and remove all personal food/beverages from the unit.
5. Empty recycle and trash to bins in the driveway.
6. REPORT any items damaged. If items are MISSING or DAMAGED, they will be deducted from your deposit.
7. Leave your shoes at the door! Tracking in gravel and mud causes damage and excessive cleaning. Wipe doggie paws!

Door is keyless entry. The mother in law suite is completely separate from main house. Both front and back yards have privacy fencing and separate entrances. Parking is on street in front of suite or on side street.

- "My husband and I hadn't gotten much of a chance to vacation together this year, so we decided to do a few days somewhere close. Since we were staying close, we also wanted to bring our senior German Shepard with us while he was still spry enough to enjoy the trip. We couldn't have asked for a better mini vacation with our dog! So many places that were dog friendly within waking distance. There are several parks you can walk to and around as well. The layout of the suite is small, but purposeful. The space was very clean, had plenty of towels, and felt very secure. We loved the hot tub on the deck that gave some privacy, but also the ability to let us watch our dog run around the yard. I highly recommend staying here if: you want downtown access, have a well-behaved dog, or are just looking for a chance in scenery for a few days."

The Riverfront Cottage shares a yard and driveway with another home listed on airbnb but still maintains a private setting steps from the river. It has a luxurious queen bed from which you can see the river. There is an office desk with a bluetooth radio/clock , and WIFI.
The bathroom has plenty of room with a glass shower, vanity and comes stocked with soaps, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion.
The kitchenette has a microwave, hot pot, coffeemaker, french press, coffee bean grinder, toaster oven, a 1 burner induction cooktop with cookware and a small fridge/freezer.The cupboards have dishes, glasses, and wine glasses for that special bottle of wine. The utensil drawer is stocked with everything you will need. We provide fresh coffee beans, organic sugar, salt and pepper. Also an air popper and popcorn .
