The Home is in a small neighborhood, behind a remote controlled gate. Guests will receive a message before their arrival with instructions on how to open the gate.

-Home is located directly on the river and you will have private access to river.

-There is a freeway located behind the cabin which does bring noise. Home is well insulated and traffic noise is usually not an issue for guests due to river proximity. We just want guests to be aware if you are sensitive to these noises

-Power outages can occur during winter months. Though rare, it does happen when trees fall. If this happens during your stay, you can wait for the power to be restored (usually a few hours) or message me and checkout and remainder of your stay will be reimbursed.

-During winter months (Also Rare) the freeway may close down due to high snow level. If you are going to check in and this is the case your stay will also be reimbursed.

- "My husband and I hadn't gotten much of a chance to vacation together this year, so we decided to do a few days somewhere close. Since we were staying close, we also wanted to bring our senior German Shepard with us while he was still spry enough to enjoy the trip. We couldn't have asked for a better mini vacation with our dog! So many places that were dog friendly within waking distance. There are several parks you can walk to and around as well. The layout of the suite is small, but purposeful. The space was very clean, had plenty of towels, and felt very secure. We loved the hot tub on the deck that gave some privacy, but also the ability to let us watch our dog run around the yard. I highly recommend staying here if: you want downtown access, have a well-behaved dog, or are just looking for a chance in scenery for a few days."

Coziness awaits you! Come relax in our beautiful, fully renovated cottage nestled among the pines just 30 miles from Seattle in the quaint town of North Bend. We are located right off the road up to Rattlesnake Lake just one mile from the lake itself. Close access to the Snoqualmie Valley Trail and all of the popular hiking and biking trails nearby. We are just 20 minutes from The Summit at Snoqualmie ski area and just a few minutes to downtown North Bend & downtown Snoqualmie.

Our cottage was built in the 1950s and was the main home for the original owners that we bought the property from until they built the main house. When we bought the property, we decided to restore the cottage and bring it back to life for people to enjoy. We recently fully renovated the space, which sits next to our main residence. Our property was a full-blown rhododendron nursery in the 1980s-1990s so you will find it popping with color in the Spring and early Summer. The cottage boasts a regular sized kitchen equipped with a microwave, Keurig, stove/oven, refrigerator with quartz counter tops and stainless steel farmhouse sink. All cooking utensils, plates, cups, silverware, etc. are onsite. WiFi access and large flat screen smart TV with built in Roku with access to thousands of titles on Netflix and Amazon Prime as well as several other apps. Please note, we do not subscribe to cable TV. Built-in electric fireplace creates a beautiful ambiance and will make you extra cozy in the cottage. Large extended length sofa that two people can comfortably lay on! Bedroom equipped with super comfortable queen sized bed you melt into. PLEASE NOTE: the bedroom has an angled ceiling for maximum coziness, so it’s very low on one side. Guests need to take extra caution when walking through the bedroom. Air mattress also available upon request. Bathroom has beautiful marble vanity and full sized tub/shower combo with stocked shampoos, shower gels.

In the Summer months, outside you will chairs to relax and gaze up at the stars at night! Recently added is a propane fire pit to enjoy with easy start that also doubles as a table.
You may also hear the little laughter from our two small daughters. We will be sure to keep noise to a minimum. We also have chickens (no roosters) onsite but they are on the other side of the property so you won’t really hear them. And our black house cat may occasionally wander by. She is very friendly and would love a pet.

Easy access to I-90. We are 20 min by car to Bellevue and 30 min to Seattle, Redmond & Snoqualmie Pass and 40 min to Sea-Tac airport.

Door is key-less entry for self check-in. This newer one bedroom apartment is attached but separate from the main house. It has a full size kitchen with pots, pans, plates, flatware, glasses and cups. The refrigerator is equipped with an ice maker. The bedroom has a Queen size bed, a twin size air mattress is available & the bathroom comes stocked with soaps, body wash, shampoo & conditioner. The living / dining area is fully furnished and has a 40" flat screen TV with cable. Wi -Fi thru out. Washer and dryer in unit.
Other things to note
Please be aware we are on a septic system. Do not flush anything but toilet paper & tissue.
We allow dogs with a one time $30.00 cleaning fee as long as they are under 40lbs, house broken & well behaved. If your dog has separation anxiety and barks and cries when your gone we will ask you to take the dog with you when you leave the apt.

- "We enjoyed our stay at the North Bend property. The hosts were very responsive, responding to us within minutes. The small house was just off the street and was very quiet. Our granddaughter who visited us in the purple house was able to walk with us to the city park. It was a great stay" - "The unit has several pluses - it is clean, has a convenient location and has comfortable beds. The unit is small but cozy. The kitchen/living area is very nice and well appointed. Kitchen dishes, glassware and utensils are excellent. The rental is approx 1 mile from the North Bend shopping district and restaurants. It is a flat walk of about 15 minutes. There is no air conditioner but we were comfortable even with sunny days with temps in the upper 80s. The unit is located at the foot of Mt. Si and cooled down nicely at night. The bed is very comfortable and we got a good night's sleep. We did not use the washer and dryer but they are large and look as if they would handle any laundry needs. The one negative that we had was the bathroom. The unit is on a septic system and there is a notice that toilet paper cannot be flushed in the toilet. Instead, dirty TP needs to be collected and put out with the trash. Even though we adapted to this unusual restriction, it made for an unpleasant trip to the loo. The other issue is that the shower is very small and water pressure is weak. The hot water supply was inconsistent so taking a shower was always a bit of an adventure. I noted our concerns with the bathroom to the owner and Ying was appreciative of them. The bathroom has an "at camp" feeling which is at odds with the modern feel in the living quarters. If you are up for "roughing it" this could be a good choice."

It’s a midcentury one bedroom with fireplace, reading nook, 100% organic cotton sheets, a projector, unscented eco friendly soap, a private hot tub, and fast internet. You also get access to the writer's cabin, a studio with a loft bed for additional sleep and work space, and ten acres of salmonberry and cedar forests to explore.

The second loft bedroom (two queen beds), is detached from the main house but right next to it! You can book with or without this extra unit.

We are ideally located within walking distance of downtown North Bend, yet enjoy the benefits of a dead end street. We never get tired of our beautiful view of Mt Si, and think you will love it too.

Snoqualmie Pass is 20 minutes east, and Seattle is 30 minutes west. We are less than 5 minutes from the i90 freeway access.

Our 250 square foot studio has a Keurig coffee maker, electric kettle, refrigerator with small freezer, microwave, toaster oven, and hot plate. A selection of K-cups, sweeteners, creamers, tea, cocoa, cider and snacks is also provided.

We have a large assortment of guidebooks on locals hikes and attractions, a smart TV (no channels available -only for use with apps such as Netflix), card and board games, and puzzle magazines such as crosswords.

There is no dresser or closet, but we have a space for hanging clothes and two luggage racks in the studio. In addition, there is dedicated storage space in the garage for your recreational equipment: trekking poles, skis, snowboards, etc. (Just let us know in advance so we can open access)

The fully fenced side yard is ideal for relaxing, we provide lawn chairs for your enjoyment.

There is a parking spot just for you on the right side of our gravel driveway, which leads directly to the gate entry and the wide sidewalk into our backyard.
Your private entry is through a side door into the garage and up the stairs to the studio. All areas are well lit by motion activated lighting. Doors have keyless entry.

The TV is a Smart TV, and uses WiFi and apps such as your own Netflix or Pandora account. There are no channels, cable or otherwise.

The bed is a Double (also called a "Full"). It is not a Queen size.

Air Conditioning is a window unit installed July 1 - September 1.

When you arrive you will have your own private driveway, that can fit up to two medium sized cars. There is also a plug on the side of the house if you need to plug in your electric vehicle.

When you enter Si View you will see the kitchen and main living area equipped with TV for streaming, all the amenities needed to cook your favorite meals, and a comfy couch. And, of course, high speed internet.

The abode also features a separated bedroom and bathroom. In the bedroom is a closet with hangers and a dresser for your clothes, and two utility closets (one with a washer and dryer for your laundry needs).

Lastly, there’s a blow up mattress in the utility closet if needed.

The space
Door is key-less entry for self check-in. This newer one bedroom apartment is attached but separate from the main house. It has a full size kitchen with pots, pans, plates, flatware, glasses and cups. The refrigerator is equipped with an ice maker. The bedroom has a Queen size bed, a twin size air mattress is available & the bathroom comes stocked with soaps, body wash, shampoo & conditioner. The living / dining area is fully furnished and has a 40" flat screen TV with cable. Wi -Fi thru out. Washer and dryer in unit.

Please be aware we are on a septic system. Do not flush anything but toilet paper & tissue.

This cozy mother-in-law unit is great for 1-2 people enjoying a mountain town getaway, located 2 blocks from shopping, restaurants, the famed R&R Twin Peaks Diner, and pubs/wine bars in Downtown North Bend. It's a perfect respite after a day of hiking, enjoying nearby lakes, the Snoqualmie River, or local train rides. Other area attractions include Dirt Fish driving school (10 mins), Snoqualmie Casino (6 mins), winter skiing/summer hiking at Snoqualmie Pass (25 mins), and also Seattle (35mins).

The space
The apartment is behind our garage, which is not connected to our house. The apartment has it's own entrance, with a fully fenced yard. It's small and cozy at 324sf with ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom to help cool in the summer and an electric fire place for the winter.

Due to the unit's compact size, the water heater is also smaller. And thus does not support long showers. However, most of our guests have not had any issues.

The kitchen is equipped with stove, fridge, microwave and basic essential items such as plates, pots/pans, glasses, and utensils. There is a single serve K-cup Tea/Coffee maker, and we provide a few pods, sugar, and creamer packets to get you started. As cooking styles vary, cooking spices are not stocked, except for salt & pepper.

The backyard has a partial view of Rattlesnake Mountain (named for sound the grass makes blowing in the wind as there are no rattlesnakes in Western Washington). The patio is a great place to relax and enjoy with an outdoor table and chairs, small propane BBQ, and a pergola with a canvas cover that can open and close. From the driveway you can see Mt. Si.

You have complete access to the entire unit and it's fenced yard. The main house and garage have separate entrances that only the hosts have access to.

Parking is available in the driveway for one vehicle, on the far left, under the Guest Parking sign posted on the fence.

We live on the property, but like to give privacy to our guests. We do have a dog that may sniff through the fence, but does not normally stay interested.

Please note that there is no washing machine, dryer, or dishwasher. We also do not provide chopsticks, cooking oils, spices (except salt & pepper) or charcoal. The BBQ is propane, and a propane tank is provided.

Welcome to our home in the woods! Here you will enjoy close proximity to hiking trails, mountain biking, skiing, breweries, cafes, and boutique shops. We are located a mile away from beautiful Rattlesnake lake, and just off of the Snoqualmie Valley trail--making it perfect for those wanting hiking and biking trails right from the backyard (we are also on the route of the tunnel marathons)! Relax in the hot tub, or take a refreshing dip in the pool surrounded by nature after exploring all day.

The space
The space is a private room in our house, and your own bathroom. The room is located in the upstairs of our home, and the hosts bedroom is located downstairs. So you will have a fair amount of privacy, even though the hosts are in the house as well. The room is equipped with a coffee maker, mini refrigerator, and a microwave. There is also a small work table where you can sit and plan out your next adventure, enjoy a morning cup of coffee, or work if you have business to do. Most of the time you will have the upstairs to yourself, since the main living areas are downstairs, but occasionally one of our daughters may be visiting and their rooms are also upstairs. We do our best to block out the Airbnb during these times, but sometimes it is hard to predict when they stop by.

The upstairs also has our media room which is equipped with Apple TV, 4K projector, and a large 160 inch screen! Guests can enjoy movies, or TV shows at their leisure. We also have the ability to accommodate a few more guests in a second bedroom that has a queen bed. We just ask for advanced notice so we can make the appropriate arrangements for your arrival.

Our kitchen is fully stocked, and we welcome guests to use it as they wish. Since it is shared though, we do ask that you pick up after yourselves and clean what you use.

Outside you will find our outdoor living space, hot tub, and pool. The outdoor space and hot tub are available year round, but the pool is seasonal and open from June-September (depending on weather). The pool is often opened by the first of June and closes towards the end of September.

Feel free to message us with any questions, or if you are in need of local recommendations. We hope that you take full advantage of everything our home offers, and truly enjoy your stay with us.

While staying in our home you will have access to everything that is on property (pool, hot tub, balcony, outdoor living space, BBQ, fire pit) as well as other amenities in the house; such as the washer and dryer, kitchen, media room, and living room. The only two spaces that are private are the hosts office and the master bedroom downstairs. Everything else is available for guests to use!

During your stay
The hosts are available as much as guests would like them to be. The hosts work during the day, mostly from home; so would be around the property if you would like to talk, share a cup of coffee, or have questions about the area. We are outdoor enthusiasts and on the weekends enjoy hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, and kayaking! So if you have questions about the best trails in the area, we can help you out, or maybe you would like to join us on a hike! It also would not be uncommon to spot us in the garden tending to our plants (feel free to pick any fruit or veggies you would like when you are here, they are delicious !), or enjoying a glass of wine on the patio. We look forward to meeting you!

Our home is suitable for children of any age, and we welcome kids, but we do not have any baby items to provide and our home is not child proof. We also do not have AC in our home, but can provide fans on hot days.

Have you ever wanted to check out a tiny house? Here is your chance! Come see our view of Mt Si, a 10 acre hay field, and if you're lucky, a few elk. For hikers, Mt Si trail head is only .5 mile and Little Si 1 mile away. Skiing is just 20 minutes at the Pass. With a kitchenette, comfy bed and a deck to relax on, this tiny house is great getaway.

The space
Stay in the loft on a luxurious Tempurpedic queen size mattress or pull out the Bassett Sofa Sleeper Gel Memory Foam queen-sized mattress if you don't like ladders or small spaces. Being off the grid a little, you will get to use a composting toilet. (You can check it out online first. It's a Separett Villa) The shower features a rainshower head with a 20 gallon hot water tank. We have a Keurig and a few coffee pods for your use along with teas and hot chocolate. Packages of oatmeal for the mornings. A mini-fridge with a freezer box, a toaster, and a full sized microwave are also in the house. Paper goods, mugs, and wine glasses provided. There is power and running water, but no cable. TV/DVD player onsite w/ HDMI cable. (It's a tiny house and tv is to scale!) Cell reception is generally good. Note Wifi is a farm broadcaster and good but not like high speed systems. Propane BBQ with side burner out front for your use. Unless there is a burn ban, a fire pit will be available for small fires. Roasting sticks and matches provided for your use. There will be an occasional vehicle on the driveway on the far side of 10 acre field on the shared driveway with the house next door.

You will have the tiny house to yourself. The field it is situated on is open for your use. Walk the 1/2 mile mowed loop, ride your bikes around, or just sit and view Mt Si and hopefully elk or deer.

The Home is in a small neighborhood, behind a remote controlled gate. Guests will receive a message before their arrival with instructions on how to open the gate.

-There is a freeway located behind the cabin which does bring noise. Home is well insulated and traffic noise is usually not an issue for guests due to river proximity. We just want guests to be aware if you are sensitive to these noises

-Power outages can occur during winter months. Though rare, it does happen when trees fall. If this happens during your stay, you can wait for the power to be restored (usually a few hours) or message me and checkout and remainder of your stay will be reimbursed.

-During winter months (Also Rare) the freeway may close down due to high snow level. If you are going to check in and this is the case your stay will also be reimbursed.

The entire home is yours and property is yours to enjoy as well.

The home does not have AC but does have 3 ceiling fans and an inlet fan that keeps the temperature comfortable.
