Just up the hill from Carillon Point, this lower level, private apartment is in a house in the high end neighborhood of Houghton in South Kirkland. It is one block from a 6 mile trail. You'll love the place with its quiet location and beautiful garden entrance. The apartment is 1200 square feet 2 bedroom, 3/4 bath with large living/dining space, plus a 200 sf private, covered patio space with beautiful views of Lake Washington, Olympic Mountains, and the Seattle skyline in the distance. It has a small, but cute and functional kitchenette with new compact appliances (no dishwasher, disposal). There is a strict quiet hours policy from 10pm - 6 am.

I have one dog that has zero access to the unit, but has free reign of the fenced backyard. He is occasionally active from 6:00 am, but quiet hours apply to them too. He will bark when I come home via the garage and when someone knocks on my front door, but downstairs guests are mostly ignored.

Guest access
**Note: This is a split-level house with a shared entryway. Your key will be in the lockbox.

Private Guest Bedroom: The guest will have access to a Private Bedroom downstairs. The door has a lock with a key. You will be our only tenant (we only rent out 1 room).

Private Bathroom: The guest will have access to a private bathroom with a shower. The bathroom is down the hall from your bedroom and to the left.

Remote Workspace: The guest will have access to a desk for remote work located just outside their private bedroom and adjacent to the living room.

Living Room: The guest will have exclusive use of the downstairs living room with a 50" Smart Fire TV and occasional appearances by the Host and/or family members on laundry days (usually twice a week).

Kitchenette: The guest will have exclusive use of the kitchenette located in the downstairs laundry room. This space will sometimes be shared with the Host (on laundry days only - usually twice a week).

Laundry Room: Long-term guests (5+ nights) will have access to the washer/dryer once a week. We can work out a laundry arrangement with you (you will have a designated laundry day each week).

Parking: The guest will have access to free parking located on the street in front of the house.

We live on the premises, you can text us if you have any questions or need anything, we are happy to help!

Other things to note
Feel free to take a walk through our neighborhood! It is soothing to the soul. There are many sidewalks and trails through the woods to enjoy. An elementary school is nearby with a track, basketball court, and tennis courts.

The space
Clean, warm, comfortable and safe private bedroom with ample shared common areas in this large, two floors, 3,000 ft2 recently renovated house, minutes away from the nicest spots in Kirkland, WA, is equipped with a queen-size bed, desk, chair, lamp, shelf and hangers in the closet and a 40" TV Set with ChromeCast for streaming. Living room has a shared fireplace.

Guest access
Guests will have access to:
- Their booked bedroom, shared bathroom, kitchen, kitchenette, living room, deck, backyard and only adjacent on-street free parking.
- The use of any available appliances and utensils in the kitchen to store, prepare or re-heat light meals.
- The use of washer and dryer
 (bring your own detergent).
- Complimentary coffee, tea, cocoa and filtered hot/cold drinking water as available.

During your stay
I give ample space and independence for my guests to feel completely at home while at our place. Due to work schedule I might not be able to initially greet my guests but I will certainly be reachable if needed.

Other things to note
- Please be responsive with your communications, so keys handling and any other need can be managed timely and hassle-free for everybody.
- You can reach out to me directly via text if within USA or you can use any other text app if it is from an international location.
- Parking on driveway is shared, so you might need to be able to quickly move your car as needed. Do NOT park nor stop on neighbors' parking spots.
- Use your GPS or Phone-GPS App to reach our home. Memorizing all the turns might be a little challenging.
- House location might not be convenient without the use of your own method of transportation.
- Respect the neighborhood. If neighbors approach you inquiring about your presence in the area, do NOT engage and just refer them directly to me.
- House has central heating, NOT central A/C.
- Fan and earplugs are available upon request if needed.
- On your check-in day you will receive a detailed email with important information. Please read it BEFORE arriving to the house.

The space
Enjoy a like new 2020/21, 33ft trailer a glamping experience in the heart of city. This trailer has a full kitchen and 3/4 bathroom that is well taken care of. A like new experience.

We are right between the 405 and bridle trails state park on an acre of land with great access to the state park & miles of trails! This location allows you to experience beautiful nature trails, horses and the convenience of the city & lake amenities very close.

The location is right next to what we call the ocean (405) and we provide a sound machine in case you are not used to this “ocean" noise.

Due to the glamping experience you will have warm showers but not long ones and we want you to think camping not an apartment even though it is just as nice.

Many people have enjoyed this glamping experience but please ask us any questions so we can make your stay as comfortable as possible or if you have not stayed in a trailer before.
