Very comfortable bedding, towels, etc. It was very quiet and peaceful with mist and clouds creating an other-worldly backdrop. Rafts of sea ducks. Saw an eagle and a heron. Spotted an owl at dawn this morning. Host was incredibly responsive. Great access to running/biking. Could not resist a couple of quick chilly plunges. - "For our family of 3 (including one 9-year-old), this stay couldn't have been more perfect. The location was great for dividing time between the Snoqualmie area and Seattle. You get a lot of privacy and peace but can be on the freeway in 10 mins and deep in the Seattle tourist areas within an hour. The neighborhood is quiet and cute and I felt very comfortable taking long walks in the evening. Our 9-year-old happily and safely played in the shallow river for hours. So much nature and beautiful landscaping. The home itself was exactly as expected and even more comfortable than anticipated for our week-long stay. We found everything we needed for full comfort and fun. The kitchen had everything we needed for making multiple meals a day. It could use a large stock pot but that was barely an inconvenience. I also appreciated the communication being timely and detailed without interfering with our goal to unplug and focus on family."

This beautiful little chalet has been our pandemic project. Our Squak Mountain tree house offers a truly unique sense of privacy and tranquility in the lush green canopy. Guests enter the home by a cascading waterfall. There are two 28 foot cedar decks (hammock) and a spacious open great room featuring a gas fireplace and kitchen. Will comfortably sleep 4-5 people. No more than 5 people allowed at any time. Walking distance to downtown Issaquah and hiking trails. Absolutely no parties permitted.

We did not know about the fans and once we found those it helped as the top floor was really hot (but the weather was excellent for hiking) We were able to find parking rather easily as you can't park in the driveway as it its tiny. And although you could walk to stores around the area its up a pretty good hill you would really need to be in good shape. Driving however, was easy the freeway entrance was about a minute drive so easy access to I-90. We really enjoyed the town and the ease of driving access to the surrounding places of interest such as Hiking Rattle Snake Lake, Seattle waterfront and the ferries, Snoqualmie falls and Lake Sammamish."

This is a quiet, comfortable home with an open kitchen/dining/living room plan. It's walking distance to Downtown Issaquah, restaurants, shopping, and Tiger Mountain trails. It's equipped with every you might need for a longer stay: a full kitchen, washer and dryer in unit, Wifi and Smart TV, and a fitness center in the complex. The apartment features a wood-burning fireplace, a dining table that expands to seat 8, and a balcony with seating and a gas barbecue.

Each large bedroom has a comfortable queen bed (no unexpectedly sleeping on pull-out sofas!) with a selection of pillows, a desk, large closet, and a bathroom with tub and shower. Travel crib and high chair are available if you're traveling with little ones.

The downtown location is close to I-90 for quick trips by car or bus to other Eastside locations, Seattle or the mountains.

- "WAY better than a hotel for myself and two workers. We were doing a big project 15 minutes away and it was nice to not have to commute from Poulsbo daily. Made breakfast and dinner in the nice kitchen daily. It rained a ton so we weren't outside much at all but the view is pretty nice and there was a gorgeous double rainbow one night. The biggest improvement would be a bbq. It's plenty big and we all had our own rooms. Would definitely stay here again and hopefully will if we can get some more big multi day projects on the Eastside area."

The main house, shed and front yard are private property of the Gateway House and we kindly ask you to respect those being off limits.

Our family lives very nearby just two houses away: We'll let you have your peace and quiet but will always be happy to answer a question or lend a hand if something is needed.

We actively maintain the property and the turnovers for the units so there is a high likelihood you will see us during your stay though we do try to do most things while you are not there if we can help it to allow your privacy.

The Getaway is located just 1 mile South of Issaquah’s city center and less than 2 miles from I-90, Seattle’s east / west artery running from the mountains to the sea.

Typical drive time from Sea Tac airport is 25-40 minutes (traffic dependent) and an Uber/Lyft will run you $40-$60 each way (surge price dependent)

Hiking, biking and activities are totally doable without a car especially in the summer months.

The closest bus stop is appx 0.8 miles away and there is a transit center 2.5 miles away.

For hiking outside of Squak and Tiger Mtns, there are literally hundreds of hikable trails within a 40 minute drive of the Getaway.

Closest skiing is 40 min away (Snoqualmie Pass) with Crystal and Stevens running 2-2.5 hours away depending on traffic/weather.

Pets: The Getaway welcomes friendly and well behaved dogs only for an additional fee. The backyard is fully fenced for dogs. Pets are not allowed on the bed or any furniture (we kindly ask you not to book please if your dog is unable to stay off the furniture). Your dog needs to be pet and child friendly. We charge a $100 pet fee for the 2 night minimum but anything beyond that we will charge an additional $15 per day (an additional $10/day for a additional pets) as a separate charge you will see billed seperately. The pet fee should cover use of the space but if its overly dirty there may be additional cleaning costs after your stay requested.

Kids: The getaway is not appropriate for children 6 months-5 years old due to open railings and a fireplace. Specific requests will be considered but are not guaranteed.

Shared Property: The Getaway is connected and on the same property as the Gateway House. You will share the back yard amenities with those guests but have separate entrances and spaces.

Activity planning: There are extensive bike and hiking trails that can be accessed within minutes of the Gateway Getaway's driveway. As a lifelong Issaquah resident, my family and I can help you design the perfect itinerary, whether it be hiking, mountain biking, brewery hopping, concert going or simply relaxing. We're proud of our Issaquah community and look forward to sharing some of it with you.

While there isn't a door to close your living area completely off (you can close your bedroom door,) your space is kept private with the staircase and a pet gate separating you (and the kitties) from the main level. With this listing you are renting more than just a bedroom, you have your own living, bathroom and patio. No one else uses your living area or resides on your floor. The separation between your floor and the shared upstairs amenities is an open staircase. Your bedroom, bathroom, and patio have doors that lock from the inside.

There are two kitties, Ginger and Leo who live in the home, but they generally avoid people. They are small and skittish so you find them quiet, clean and hidden much of the time. Given that their Mom has allergies the home is kept very clean and free of hair and dander. I have a pet gate to keep them out of the Airbnb. If you don’t like cats keep the gate in the stairwell and your bedroom door closed. If you have severe allergies or aversion to animals this might not be the home for you. I prefer guests that are cat friendly even though the cats won’t be in your space.

I try to offer my guests as much privacy and space as possible during their stay, I do greet my guests and and check in on any needs when I see them coming and going on the main level. I appreciate guests who are quiet, self sufficient, easy going and have low maintenance needs. I ask that if guests need me that they message through the app instead of looking for me in other areas of the home.

It overlooks the sitting area in the back yard and pergola trellis. This room was remodeled recently and has a “new feel” with a fresh coat of creamy white paint, new hardwood floors and moulding, a new light fixture, new door and a light blocking shade. There's a new large flat screen TV and a new desk in the room. The Wifi password is provided in room for your Internet. We upgraded to a Nespresso mini coffee maker so you can enjoy excellent quality coffee or tea in the morning.
This room will appeal to those of you that have high expectations on cleanliness... I am (very) clean and have total attention to detail on cleanliness, minimal clutter, beauty and organization. Our Housecleaner cleans your room every 2 weeks changing sheets, dusting and vacuuming. She can also change your bedding preference seasonally to a down comforter with a duvet for winter, to lighter blanket and bedding choices in warmer months. This bed has a 3” tempurpedic mattress topper. It’s amazingly comfortable and makes a huge difference in comfort.
My bed linens are all white and are washed in bleach every time. Mattresses are encased in a protective cover, and also have a mattress pad protector, pillows have zipped protectors and pillow cases. All bedding including sheets, pillow protectors, pillow cases, mattress pad, all blankets, and top blankets are washed every time. Bathrooms are very clean. My goal is for you to have a beautiful clean room and a great stay!
As a side note: It might be possible to rent the lovely Dulcinea Room and also the Boutique Hotel style bedroom if they happen to be available at the same time. They are both beautiful special rooms.

Rec Center has indoor track, gym, and basketball courts. Pool is newly renovated in 2015. I have raised "Three Spoiled Children" and enjoy doing the same for my Airbnb guests. The space
The house is bright, comfortable and quiet. Ideal for groups of 4 people, it can comfortably work for families of up to 6 (the sofa bed provides the extra sleeping space, but is in the living room, so not much privacy).

With 900 square feet, there's plenty of room to stretch out and relax. Both bedrooms feature comfortable beds with top notch linens, plenty of pillows, and full closets for clothes and personal belongings. The "master" bedroom is extra long, with lots of space to set up the Pack-n-Play. The living space is open and inviting with dining for 4, plus a breakfast bar space for 4, or to set up your home office--it's a great place to kick back and relax.

Weather permitting, there's a comfortable patio with outdoor furniture to enjoy, or relax to the babble and splash of Issaquah Creek just across the street. The yard has a little garden and nice flat lawn--a perfect place for young kids to play. Or take a short stroll to any of the numerous Issaquah parks, shops and attractions that make Olde Town unique.

The house is ideal for families and small groups who want to experience the best of the Pacific Northwest, but would rather stay nearer the mountains than Downtown Seattle.

It's all yours--the space is not shared with anybody. We are your neighbors and thus available to assist should you need us, but we like to give our guests all the privacy they need to really feel at home. During the growing season Sarah may be in the yard from time to time for mowing or watering, but will always try to notify you in advance. It's your home while you're here!

There is a full kitchen with a new oven, full size refrigerator, and all of the pots, pans and utensils you'll need to prepare your meals in the comfort of home. The full bathroom also has a large top-loader washing machine and full size dryer, plus all of the soaps and things you'll need to keep yourself and your stuff fresh and clean.

Most of our guests stay for 10 days or more, so the house has been designed and set up to make longer trips effortless, comfortable and easy. All you need to bring is something to wear and something to eat. Welcome to the perfect home away from home!

The space

On a nice day, sit on the banks of the creek and read a book or simply let your mind drift while you listen to the calming sounds of the water washing by.

The cabin is minutes away from several fantastic hiking trails, Seattle's best parasailing and Lake Sammamish State Park (where you can rent paddle boards, kayaks or canoes during the summer). There are numerous restaurants and pubs/wine bars in the area. This retreat is just about a mile from a great little coffee stand and a mini-mart/gas station.

Beautiful top floor condo with vaulted ceiling. Great view of the Issaquah valley. Cute and comfortable with roomy 2 bedrooms (1 king bed, 1 queen bed) and 2 bathrooms plus a separate den. Kitchen has all new appliances and is fully stocked. Condo is 5 minutes from I-90, 15 miles from downtown Seattle and 10 miles from Bellevue. Grocery stores, coffee shops and a variety of restaurants are minutes away. There is plenty of free parking in the complex.

The space
Entire condo is available to you. Its a top floor unit and requires waking up one set of stairs to reach the front door. It’s bright with vaulted ceilings. A great floor plan with a great view of the Issaquah Valley. Bus stop in front of the complex. 5 minutes from I-90.

This is a condo so there are neighbors. Being quite and respectful is expected.

The space
The bedroom is situated in the loft and requires you to climb a relatively steep set of library ladder stairs to access, but is very cozy when up there….There are handrails along the stairs as well as at the top to assist … Older and arthritic people like myself can still get up there, but it’s not as easy as it used to be! :)
There are tv’s both upstairs and downstairs and a comfortable electric fireplace provides both ambiance, and heat if desired.
There are battery/remote operated candles, as well as other ambient lighting to enhance your experience.

Guest access
Guest can access the loft from either the front or the back of the building with the same access code provided. Parking is available in front of loft alongside the fence, you’ll see a reserved parking sign to pull right up to.
Guest can make there way into the field and along the creek as well if they desire…there are chairs out there to relax.
You may be greeted by a bark or two from our two golden retrievers across the fence, Max and Samson, but they’re harmless and just like attention.

Other things to note
We want your stay here to be comfortable, cozy and memorable…it’s a very unique piece of property, main house was originally a logging camp built in 1942 with alot of Rustic character, and you’re encouraged to look around the property and enjoy the creek and field if you have the time.
The property is lit up in the evening until about 1130 with plenty of outdoor lighting to give it a very inviting and romantic feel. If the profile pictures intrigued you to click on us, they are good, but they don’t really due it justice…it’s much better in person! :)

Soak up the Pacific Northwest forest vibe in our cozy 2-bedroom retreat. Our place is surrounded by big mossy trees and bordered by a beautiful stream with waterfalls, yet we are right down the street from the grocery store, restaurants, a movie theater, and other shopping. It's a hidden sanctuary in the middle of town!

Issaquah is perfectly located to easily access beautiful hikes, lakes, and mountains in one direction and the Seattle city life in the other direction.

The space
Newly renovated to add a 2nd bedroom and more living space/dining area off the kitchen. This unit has 2 bedrooms. One bedroom has a smart TV, a queen bed, and a small sleeper couch that can be used as a bed (makes a short bed, so it's best for kids or short adults). The 2nd bedroom is small and has a twin trundle bed (a second twin bed that can roll out from underneath).

Kitchenette includes a sink, double burner stovetop, mini fridge, microwave, blender, toaster, hot water kettle, traditional coffee maker, air fryer, and waffle maker, along with all basic cooking and eating dishes/utensils. There is a couch/futon that can also be folded flat for more sleeping options if you prefer (once again, great for a child or short adult). There is a room off the kitchen with the table and windows looking out to the beautiful forest. There is a stacked washer & dryer in the unit available for guest use.

There is a small entryway and a full bathroom with shower. We ask that guests remove their shoes while inside the guesthouse.

Guests have access to a beautiful little patio right outside your door where you can sit and look out at the trees and down to the stream below.

Important Note: this is an older manufactured home that has been renovated, but it's still far from perfect. The floors are uneven - in some rooms more slanted than others. It's a little bit quirky, but clean and comfortable and you can't beat the location and surroundings. Just know, if you're looking for fancy or brand new condition, you might want to book elsewhere. If you're ok with a little bit of quirkiness, and want a BEAUTIFUL, secluded place to stay surrounded by nature, you'll probably greatly enjoy your stay with us. ☺️ There are no stairs to enter the unit, but there is one step down from the kitchen to the dining area and one step down from bedroom #1 into bedroom #2.

There is also a sitting area on a deck platform right outside of the guesthouse that guests can use whenever you want.

PLEASE NOTE: you are welcome to explore the unfinished trails down to the stream but do so at your own risk. Children MUST be accompanied by an adult. DO NOT hike upstream past our property (to the big waterfall) - our neighbors have complained about guests going up there.

There are stairs aside house down to the basement and there is shaved wood ground prior to getting to the entrance. Please let us know if you need assistance.

Welcome to The Nest!

While we as Hosts are new here, The Nest isn’t! With a previous 4.9+ rating, this amazing space was a thriving Airbnb, and is now under new ownership. We are excited to uphold its great reputation as an amazing place to stay in Issaquah!

The Nest is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath with a private entrance, kitchenette, spacious living room and big screen TV. Above our garage, The Nest is among the trees with windows and light all around; located in the serene Sycamore neighborhood.

The space
This hardwood-floored apartment is spacious yet cozy with high ceiling windows all around. The bedroom and bath high end furnishings like a granite vanity and vessel sink, vintage wood, custom barn doors, and wrought iron handles and pulls.

The kitchen space has a vintage 1950s chrome and jadeite green aesthetic. The kitchenette (not a full kitchen) includes a double sink, small fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster oven, Keurig coffee maker, tea maker, egg maker and electric skillet.

You’ll feel at one with nature while only .5 miles from downtown Issaquah.

For the Adventurous:

- Poo Poo Point Trailhead is 1.1 miles away by car
- A trailhead leading to miles of trails in Squak Mountain is just a .8 mile walk into our Sycamore neighborhood beyond Issaquah creek
- The Rainer Trail is mere minutes away by foot or bike; leading into Olde Town Issaquah, Jacob Two Trees, or to East Lake Sammamish Trail.

For Quiet and Tranquility:

- Let the birds serenade you from the nearby trees in this real-life fairytale space. “The Nest” is a centrally-located private space at the end of a cul de sac with plenty of parking.

Guests have private access to the full apartment above the garage. The garage space is not included.

The space
The entire half of the duplex is yours. You have a shared wall, but no shared space.

Large windows let in lots of light into the living room. Fully equipped kitchen and washer & dryer in unit. The two bedrooms are separated by a full bath. Back bedroom has a queen size bed and the front bedroom has 2 twin XL beds. The living room includes a sectional sofa bed and 2 lounging chairs, a desk area and dining table with chairs. The sectional sofa converts into a queen size bed for larger parties.

We have a window AC unit in the main living area and a portable AC unit in the queen bedroom available.

Guest access
You will enjoy full access to your two bedroom one bath duplex with full kitchen and laundry, as well as fenced front and back yards.

Other things to note
The Issaquah Sportsmen's club is nearby which has an archery and rifle range (Wed-Fri, Sun 12pm-6pm / Sat 10am-6pm). Our guests generally find they don't hear the range inside and don't really mind, but you should be aware. Please take a look at what they wrote in their reviews to see their experience.

Great space with large yard featuring a patio with gas firepit & BBQ, a beautiful wraparound porch, fully equipped kitchen and laundry. This downstairs duplex unit in one of the original historic Craftsman homes is right on the edge of Issaquah’s Old Town giving easy access to downtown Issaquah’s restaurants and entertainment. Also a convenient base for hiking, skiing, or getting into the big city. Near Swedish Hospital Issaquah campus, Costco HQ, Microsoft, T-Mobile HQ, OSI/Spacelabs.

The space
2 bedrooms, one with queen bed, the other full. Also a sleeper sofa full bed in the living room. Fully equipped kitchen with full-size refrigerator, 4-burner stove with oven, microwave, toaster, Keurig coffeemaker with coffee, dishwasher. dishes, utensils, pots, and pans. Washer & dryer for extended stays. Wood stove for those cool days/nights. Wrap-around porch with seating and table, large yard with patio and firepit area with BBQ, opportunities for recreation, free parking onsite. One side of the house faces a fairly busy 2-lane road (25 mph speed limit). There is also an upstairs tenant in a separate unit.

Other things to note
It's very important to us to be able to plan cleaning in between guests since our place is booked nearly every day. Letting us know your expected checkin and checkout times really helps us, if you know them.
Leaving messes increases our cleaning costs, and this will be factored into your guest star rating for cleanliness.
This is a duplex with another tenant, and it is in town, on a street with a fair amount of commute traffic.
