Our Crystal River Ranch home accommodates a maximum of 6 people in three bedrooms, on two queen beds and two single beds. The loft bedroom is large and has its own bathroom. The second bathroom and two bedrooms are located on the main floor.
CRR is a community of part time and full time residents located at 2300’. A local herd of Elk wander the community and can be viewed on the roads, in yards and on the lawn of the community center. There are no businesses in the Ranch but a handful of stores and one dining/tavern option are two miles west in Greenwater. There are additional dining and store options east at Alta Vista and Crystal mountain or further west beyond Greenwater in Enumclaw.
The cabin is furnished with linens, towels, blankets, cutlery and all the pans you can imagine using. The only thing missing is you, your food, clothing, personal toiletries and 5 friends.

- "This was the second time we stayed in this cabin and it has everything! We stayed with friends and did all of our own cooking. The kitchen had everything we needed! All of the rooms were very clean and organized. The hot tub was a treat. The property was beautiful with access to a hammock, swings, and the community trail system. There are elk that roam throughout the community and were often visible nearby. We were also able to stargaze using the comfortable outdoor Adirondack chairs. Wonderful place! The Crystal Mountain Chalet is a beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom chalet style cabin. Tall firs frame the cabin and vaulted ceiling windows fill it with light. Nestled within Crystal River Ranch in Greenwater, the Crystal Mountain Chalet is set up with a large and open living area, bar style seating in the kitchen, as well as ample sleeping for 9.

The CRR community is located about 18 miles from Crystal Mountain Ski Resort. Perfect location for weekend ski/snowboarding getaways in the winter, or easy access to hiking/horsebacking riding/mountain biking and gondola rides in the summer. Also located about 30 miles from Sunrise, a popular destination in Mount Rainier National Park.

CRR is located on an elk refuge so it is common to see a local herd of elk wander the community... along the roads, in yards, or perhaps most frequently on the lawn of the community center. Just 15 minutes away from the Sunrise/White River entrance to Mt Rainier National park and 20 minutes from Crystal Mountain Ski Resort, our beautiful Crystal River Ranch home is the perfect place to experience all this extraordinary place has to offer you. Our 1600 sq ft home was built in 1994 and has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The master bedroom with a king bed and adjoining bathroom as well as the second bedroom with a queen bed are located downstairs. The upstairs belongs to the kids with 3 beds plus a trundle bed. The loft upstairs has a futon and a tv for the kids to use. The well-stocked kitchen opens up into the dining area with enough room for a larger group (up to 8) to sit and eat comfortable. The large windows allow natural light to fill the area and the large flat screen tv will allow for a cozy night watching a movie. On the deck, you will find a BBQ for your convenience. After a hard day hitting the trail or the slopes, you will definitely want to relax in our brand-new 8 person hot tub. Summertime guests might find it hard to choose between the hot tub or roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. Decisions, decisions. Either way, you will not be disappointed!

Skiing, Snowboarding, Cross County Skiing, Snowmobiling, Hiking, nature walks, birdwatching, mountain biking & mountain climbing are just a few things you can do during your stay. In the summer you can head up to Sunrise visitor center to hike many trails in the Mt. Rainier National Park. There are also many, many beautiful hikes up on Chinook Pass including Tipsoo Lake a favorite among visitors!

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make your vacation special. Complete with a waffle maker, pancake electric griddle, crockpot, rice cooker, Keurig K-cup/Coffee maker combo & french press.. to name a few. Oh.. let's not forget the knives are sharp!

There is one bathroom with tub and shower. There is plenty of shampoo & conditioner. Linens are provided (extra in every room). You will find a hair dryer and hair straightener in the bathroom cabinet and an extra one in the master bedroom dresser. Each room has a nice sized mirror to make it more convenient for folks getting ready in the morning.

There are two bedrooms downstairs both equipped with a log bed; one King and one Queen. (Extra blankets/pillows in ottoman) There is a Pack n'Play for toddlers in the master closet - bring your own toddler sheets.

Upstairs in the loft there are two beds one Queen and one Full-size. There is also a full size sofa in the loft (great for little kids to sleep on) with a nice area to play games or read a book.

Outside there is a large deck with a Propane BBQ, dining set and large fire-pit. There are plenty of outdoor chairs for the fire-pit. (during the summer months check local fire regulations prior to using the fire-pit)

The 960sf chalet style cabin is just past the town of Greenwater (last stop for gas, general store, and cafe) en route to Crystal Mountain. You are walking distance to the Crystal River Ranch clubhouse which has a playground, games, and my kids’ favorite: air hockey.

Crystal River Ranch is a great place for young bikers to explore with minimal traffic and flat roads. There is access to the rivers via the picnic site (no fishing, stony; dangerous, but beautiful).
The cabin has 1 bedroom with a queen bed on main floor and a large open rafter loft with a king and two twin beds. The beds are comfortable. The skylights let in some light and are openable.
The propane stove does a nice job and sets the mood. The laundry room is by the front door, a good place to stash ski gear and pop it right in the dryer. Six people is the maximum, with one small bathroom, four or five people is comfortable.
WAshington Trails Association is my go-to resource for hikes, providing all the info and recent trip reports.
You can beat the traffic and be at the mountain in 20 minutes. Careful for ice on the road early in the morning. Internet is there to help you get the latest weather info and stay in touch with friends, as cell service is spotty. The internet is NOT high speed, it is not available.

Elk are often in the yard. Respect these massive creatures by keeping your distance.

Huge Crystal River Ranch cedar cabin a short distance from Crystal Mountain Ski area and Mount Rainier National Park. Great amounts of light throughout the home, which is a roomy 2200 square feet and sleeps 10 people comfortably. With 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms (the master bath has an amazing jacuzzi tub!) and upstairs loft (twin day bed) there is plenty of room to spread out and relax. Master bedroom (king) and bunkroom with 2 bunk beds (twin over twin and twin over full) plus a queen futon and extra slide out twin in the upstairs bedroom. Place is very good, spacious and clean. But prepare for slow (very slow) internet, unless you planned to work from there, its not a big deal. Check-in process is easy.
