Chico Bay Inn has a parking lot; Garden Suite guests are allowed one parking spot (a second parking spot can be made available upon request).

Private areas: The owners live in the apartment on the main floor adjacent to the Garden Suite. The Penthouse Suite is a separate suite available for booking (vrbo.com/3566936) and is located on the top floor of the Inn with a full view of Chico Bay.

My home is within an hour of the Olympic (Mountain) National Park and Port Angeles (ferry to Victoria BC!). Easy drive to quaint towns of Gig Harbor, Poulsbo, Kingston, Bainbridge Island and Port Townsend. Wineries, fine dining, fun dive bars, antique stores, golf, summer concerts in the park, mountain hikes, kayaking, waterfalls are all close (and I'll provide you a great locals list of recommendations!).

Washington State ferries expand your horizons - to Seattle or Edmonds (both very easy, walk on and leave the car home), Victoria BC, or Whidbey Island. The Bremerton ferry terminal is 2.7 miles from the house - very easy to walk on (or drive!) the ferry to downtown Seattle!

Full bath with tub/shower and full, well out-fitted kitchen with table that seats 5. Washer and dryer. 55 inch flat screen TV with Netflix access (no cable) and sound bar.

Stay in the "Navy Room" or the "Hollywood Room" and enjoy premium sheets and a freshly laundered duvet cover. Explore our Rec Room (fair weather only - not heated or cooled) and play a game of foosball or cards.

Shelia was very professional and quick with replies via email/text. We brought our dog with us too and she enjoyed the back yard area. This was a Swiss Army Knife of accommodations; toiletries, 1st aid, kitchenware, game room, green egg BBQ, (Made some knock out ribeye steaks in the rain) everything you needed was available. This was our 1st exploration west of Seattle and it was our 1st VRBO rental experience ever. Typically we stay at hotels but we now have a new dog and that makes hotel selection much more difficult. This house and Sheila made it all easy. Looking forward to other opportunities w/ same host. Thanks!!!"

Location is prime for exploring in any direction from easy access to Seattle Ferries, Military Bases, Hood Canal, and Olympic National Forest.

The BayView Retreat is a remodeled cottage sitting perched above the Liberty Bay Inlet surrounded by forest space. As you approach the property, you will head down the hillside driveway to enter the Illahee Manor Estate, a 5 acre property with five homes on it. Enjoy exploring the 5 acre property full of unique scenery, wildlife, and a small fruit tree orchard. Walk down the hillside path to the waterfront and enjoy a waterfront camp fire or a kayak trip around the calm inlet waters! Two kayaks and one stand-up paddle board provided for guest use. Please be advised the walk down the hill side path to the beach is a 5-minute walk for most. The pathway can be slippery when wet, so anyone with mobility issues should have someone else evaluate the path for them before beginning the walk down.

At the cottage you will be greeted by a beautiful waterfall with a natural stream surrounding the house. Cross over a picturesque bridge to enter the property. Inside the home you will find an open living room, dining room, and kitchen prepared to host your family of up to ten. The house is furnished with modern, comfortable pieces to help you relax. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything your family should need for cooking, and dining table with plenty of seating. The home has been updated and has all the modern touches you need, but still holds its old charm with original brick floors and elegant window fixtures.

Head up just a small flight of stairs to the primary bedroom, a den with fold out bed, a second bedroom, and two full bathrooms. The primary bedroom holds a King bed, and ensuite bathroom with tub and shower. Just off of the primary bedroom holds French doors to an office space with a desk and fold out couch to sleep an additional two guests. Down the hall holds a second bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom features a queen bed and bunk bed with trundle (sleeping a total of six in the room.) All beds have quality name brand mattresses, luxurious linens, and plenty of extra linens, blankets, and pillows.

Whether you want to stay local to Bremerton or use the area as a central point to explore, there is so much to do! The house is 5 minutes from Illahee State Park which is a 86 acre waterfront camping park great for exploring expansive trails and beaches. The house is also less than 15 minutes from the Bremerton to Seattle Ferry terminal where passengers can take the quick ferry ride over to Downtown Seattle and explore everything the city has to offer! For those willing to travel 30 mins - hour, the house is a perfect central location to travel to The Hood Canal, Poulsbo, Port Orchard, Tacoma, Gig Harbor, Tahuya Trails, and much more! Guests have access to the Penthouse Suite and its private balcony, the Spa Patio, the Ridge Patio, and the Beachfront Lounge Areas and Beach. The Penthouse Suite is in the same building as other units; however, it is a completely separate apartment with its own entry.

Private areas: The owners live in the apartment on the main floor straight down the main path. Additionally, the Garden Suite is a separate suite available for booking (vrbo.com/1993857) and is located adjacent to the owner's apartment on the bottom level next to the garden.

Note: The Garden Suite has a Garden Patio that features a gas grill, gas fire table, and chairs, and is for exclusive use of guests that book the Garden Suite. Please use the Penthouse private balcony with your own private gas grill, gas fire table, chairs, and lounge chairs.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
Our check-in and check-out process is completely contactless with a smart keypad lock. The Snuggler`s Cove is a cozy, Pacific Northwest Themed townhouse unit sitting perched above the Liberty Bay Inlet surrounded by forest space. As you approach the property, you will head down the hillside driveway to enter the Illahee Manor Estate, a 5 acre property with five homes on it. Enjoy exploring the 5 acre property full of unique scenery, wildlife, and a small fruit tree orchard. Walk down the short hillside path to the waterfront and enjoy a waterfront camp fire or a kayak trip around the calm inlet waters! Two kayaks and one stand-up paddle board provided for guest use. Please be advised the walk down the hill side path to the beach is a 5-minute walk for most. The pathway can be slippery when wet, so anyone with mobility issues should have someone else evaluate the path for them before beginning the walk down.

The main level of the townhouse features one bedroom holding a bunk bed with a full bed on bottom and twin on top and half bathroom. The dining room space is tastefully furnished and designed to maximize the views of the water. In the living room, relax on the comfortable sofa and enjoy a movie, or curl up with a good book next to the electric fireplace. When it`s time to call it a night, the sofa pulls out into a queen bed sleeping two guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to whip up a delicious meal, including a full-sized refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, and all common cooking essentials.

Upstairs you will find a loft style bedroom holding a Queen bed, closet space, washer and dryer and attached bathroom. The upstairs bathroom features a two-person jetted soaking tub and shower (this is the only shower.) In the upstairs closet, you will find a queen air mattress and provided linens to sleep two guests. Please note - the upstairs bedroom does have low ceilings in some areas, please consider if this will be troublesome for anyone in your group.

- "The pictures don’t do this snug little cottage justice. The furnishings and decor are so stylish, and the view is to die for. From the moment of booking, the experience was seamless and smooth. There was even a personal note and some welcome goodies. When I arrived the house was spotless, well-lit, cozy and welcoming. There is a wonderful sloping path down to the water and a beach to stroll on at low tide. The wind whispers through the leaves and birds of all types abound. Everything was in perfect order, and the bed, chairs and sofa were very comfy. It is a little tight getting to the far side of the queen-size bed in the bedroom, but with the lovely view from the bed you barely notice. Other than that, it is perfectly appointed, and just a perfect getaway cottage. I enjoyed every minute and would definitely return when I’m in the area again."

A stackable washer and dryer are available just to the left of the kitchen and wall desk. Detergent pods, bleach, wool dryer balls, and dryer sheets are provided.

Welcome to our cozy 350sf, recently remodeled guest suite basement! Our 1930 Tudor's house space is perfect for your weekend  retreat, work trip, or your fun PNW getaway. Located on the Kitsap Peninsula, we are a ferry ride away to downtown Seattle, 30 min to the Hood Canal, 1h30 drive to the Olympic National Park. A quick access to the Ferry/Shipyard/Olympic College/Local parks/Grocery stores and restaurants.

Monthly stay includes 5 days of essentials supplies and a mid stay cleaning.

The space
We are thrilled to finally share with the world our guest suite. As DIY newbies with 2 kids under 10 it took us 3 years to design and build from scratch this space. We love it and really hope you will too! As we live upstairs with our 2 sons and cat Leia you will hear us move around. Easily park in front of the unit, self check in, private access. Enjoy a morning cafe or a sunset on the patio.. The french doors bring in a lot of natural light, during Spring & Summer we add black out curtains. European style kitchenette with a small oven, kettle and an electric hot stove. Pots/Pans and utensils provided for basic cooking. Plenty of books, wifi and Netflix available using your own device (no tv!). The bathroom has a corner shower and a towel heater and everything needed for a hot shower :)
The space is really ready to go whether you are visiting family/friends or planning weekend day trips around Seattle, Kitsap Peninsula or the Olympic National Park.

There is double bed that sleeps on the soft side, a bedside table, a lamp and a clothing rack to hang clothes. There are two windows with blinds. Please do not book this room if this isn't what you are looking for.

We cannot account for everyone spider or bug that may make its way into the unit - the Kitsap peninsula is very wooded and is a temperate rainforest and as such there are bugs. If they scare you, please place them outside.

This room is over the back patio and is attached to the dining area. It has access to the upper deck area. This room is less insulated than the other rooms, so it is not as comfortable as the other guest rooms. The room is the lowest priced on the property because it has only a curtain to separate you from the dining area and it is not a secure area for your possessions. There is a desk and an office chair.

The space
There is parking in the paved driveway. I usually park on the far right in front of the garage. Other guests may need parking so please try to park so other guests may park as well.

Common areas are the dining area, the living room, kitchen and the main bathroom. Do not use or touch other guest possessions without permission. Recommended to label your food/drink so other guests do not consume them by accident. Please be aware the black bin in the kitchen is for recyclables and the white bin in the kitchen is for trash

Message me and I try to respond as soon as possible to address questions, concerns and other issues. I usually greet guests and give a quick orientation. I try to give my guests as much privacy as possible. We interact with our guests only when needed or requested such as during check in or check out or doing necessary property maintenance.

Starting at the front, walk up the steps to the left of the house, following the brick path to the back yard. The AirBnB access is through the smaller door on the left. There is an electronic door knob lock which gives access to the unit. When you enter you will go up the steep stair case and at the top you have arrived. Welcome. Your space is private from ours. The door and stairs are about 24 inches wide and steep.

I live on the main floor of the home with my mother, and there’s a long term tenant in the basement level. There are also two cats on the main floor, but they aren’t allowed in the second story and you likely won’t even notice them. We try our best to keep the entire place tidy and free of any clutter so that all you see is cleanliness and decor! Please forgive the lack of landscaping (coming this Spring) 🙃

Access to this listing is via the front entrance of the home, thru the living and dining rooms where you might encounter other residents and/or a sweet Siamese cat on your way to the second story. However, the entire upstairs is private and separated. The roomy bedroom and stylish bathroom are thoughtfully designed to meet every short term need you may have, and encourage relaxation.

Additionally, the common areas (living, dining, full kitchen) can be made available upon request.

During your stay
Host and other tenants mainly keep to themselves but are friendly and helpful if you need anything!

Other things to note
The back driveway will fit two smaller vehicles and one side is for another tenant. If you will be driving anything larger than a mid-size SUV, there is a street parking pass available to use (within a 2 block radius <= 2 minute walk).

Prime location for anyone visiting Navy members or Shipyard workers, or even those coming from/going to Seattle, due to proximity to the Washington State/Kitsap Transit ferries. Be sure to check out the Guide book for things to do near Bremerton and neighboring towns.

A comfortable, quiet and relaxing bedroom, perfect for night shift worker. Quiet, and has blackout curtains. Close to Bremerton Ferry Terminal, you can even walk there, 25-30 minute walk. Bremerton Naval Shipyard, and Silverdale hospital. Close to ymca.

The home is a carriage style home. I do have a small entrance, with a staircase up to the main floor.

Modern and newly renovated, the Carriage House apartment is fully furnished with everything you need for a relaxing stay. A panoramic view of the Olympic Mountains and Dyes Inlet will inspire and amaze all those who stay in the Carriage House. Ten minutes to Seattle ferry, Shipyard, and Bangor sub base. Tour Puget Sound for 1 hour, free! Wa. State ferries are free for walk-ons. During the pandemic, we are deep cleaning with appropriate products and provide sanitary wipes in the Carriage House.

The upper level apartment (11 stairs) features a designer planned space with privacy and convenience in a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Wake-up every morning with a panoramic view. The unit has a bedroom with a queen, the living area with a queen sleeper couch suitable for children and, in addition, a full size twin is available as well as a pack and play.

Stay at a quiet private bedroom near Manette, Bremerton Naval Shipyard, and short drive to Silverdale, the 2nd home of an Airbnb Superhost. You can hike the many nearby trails, or walk to Manette/Bremerton. Maybe take scenic drive to charming towns like Poulsbo, Winslow on Bainbridge Island, Hood Canal, Port Townsend, or the Olympic National Forest. Being close to the Ferry terminal (5 min drive, 20-25 min walk), Bremerton route is the best scenic ferry boat ride to Seattle.

We have reusable shopping bags for the grocery store and an efficient water heater that does not require running the shower before you get in. Due to all of the rain in our region, the sewer bills are very expensive. Guests use the bathroom on the main floor- first door on the left of the hallway. Our basement is a work in progress and contains a second bathroom in cases of emergency.

Private master room and bathroom connected to main house with access to kitchen and private media room. This master room also includes a private suspended deck to enjoy your morning coffee while watching a sunrise or the great pacific northwest foresty sights while winding down in the evening. This house includes a one-of-a-kind view of the Puget and Mount Rainer while driving down Mountain View Rd.

The space
The master room is on the main floor of this three story house. The house is tucked away at the end of the street, giving it a forest, cabin feel.

You will have access to the living room and kitchen, but these will be shared with me, the owner. Feel free to make coffee, heat up food, or whatever in these spaces, but note they are not private. The master room includes a full bathroom, TV, and deck for your convenience all private to you during your stay.

About this space

Enter through the garage to the daylight basement. The garage door has a keypad on the left side. The basement has a bedroom/living area, bathroom, and kitchenette for your enjoyment. Feel free to walk down to the Illahee community dock down the street.

The entire basement is available to you including appliances. A keyfob will be programmed and waiting on a lanyard for your stay. An access code can also be provided. Access code for garage as well.

We only ask that you do not access the stairway to the upstairs (which will be locked anyway).

This is a floor-level unit, so while it is completely private to you, there may be some noise as we occupy the main living space. The dog may make a little noise as she hears some rustling from our guests. The dog is hypoallergenic and does not shed

Great Ideal location for contract workers, service members, traveling nurses, students and visitors, for its a short walk to Manette or to Bremerton Ferry and shipyard, or Silverdale. From here, take a scenic drive to a nearby charming towns, Poulsbo, Bainbridge, Hood Canal, Port Townsend, or Olympic National Forest. We are located close to Bremerton Ferry station (25 min walk, 5 min drive), the Naval Shipyard.

The space
Your bedroom on the main level of a house, with a shared bathroom with other guests. (Carriage style architecture). There are stairs at the front entrance, leading to the main floor, the second floor.

Charming Manette is walking distance from the house. Known restaurants/ eateries are the Boat Shed (waterfront), Khao Sai, and Kristi donuts. On the weekends, go to Saboteur Bakery for their delicious croissants, and other baked goods. The ymca gym is a very short, walk from the house.

We, as well as the dogs and cat, will socialize with you as much or as little as you prefer. *Pups are very friendly once they meet you :) *

Other things to note
For longer stays, we provide weekly linen cleaning (sheets, blankets, towels) over the weekends. We have spare linens for you in your closet, and will take the used ones away when you provide them. We will not invade your privacy - so let us know if you’d prefer to skip a cleaning/do it yourself with the on-site washer and dryer.

We’re a happy home, and the 4-legged family members will make you feel so so welcome! Occasionally we will have friends/family over and that may coincide with your stay (especially over the summer). They will only ever be in the common spaces. We do occasionally foster a pup, so there may be one additional animal to our permanent 3 (2 dogs, one cat). Ours are friendly and they would love to play with your friendly pet too!

We ask that you please tend to your pet(s) as you normally would (walks, feeding, waste cleanup, etc.) at home. Should you be out and not return to feed them/clean up after them, we will track those instances where we have to step in for the welfare of the pet and add a pet care/pet sitting fee after checkout. Unfortunately, this situation has occurred in the past, which is why we have to notate it now. We won’t neglect a pet in our home, whether they be ours or not.
