Maple Cove Hideaway is magical! The entire front of the house is covered in glass allowing unobstructed water views out to Camano Island, Hat Island and the snow capped Cascades, including Mt. Baker, in the background. The end of road privacy combined with the sensational views is truly amazing! Double french doors open from the family room on to a large, 500 square foot deck that brings you even closer to the water. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the deck and watch the sunrise over the Cascades, have a meal at the table overlooking the water or leave the french doors open to bring the outside in.
The cabin is less than two miles from the charming artist town of Langley. Great restaurants, a micro brewery, coffee shops, shopping, grocery store, live theater and an old fashioned movie theater are just some of the attractions in Langley.
The cabin has been completely renovated from roof to foundation. It's very cozy with a gas fireplace and a modern rustic vibe. A fully equipped kitchen is only missing your mad cooking skills and ingredients from the local farmers market to produce gourmet meals. Curl up in the cozy family room to watch a movie (Netflix is provided) or be entertained by the "Amazon Echo".
There is a sleeping loft upstairs with a comfy queen size bed and an extra long twin bed. There is also a queen, high quality sofa bed in the family room. This is not your typical marginal sofa bed; it's very comfortable. Two floor to ceiling windows upstairs provide a great place to watch the world go by.
Connectivity is great with 1 Gig Fiber internet and blue tooth connectivity to the large flat screen TV and sound bar with subwoofer to play your music from your phone. There are four conveniently located USB ports to charge your devices.
The cabin is accessible by car from the south via a 15 minute Mukilteo/Clinton ferry, from the north by crossing over the Deception pass bridge or from the west via the Port Townsend/Coupeville ferry. Once on the island drive times are approx.10 minutes from Clinton, 25 minutes from Coupeville and 1 hour from Deception pass. Regardless of how you get to the island you will immediately experience the slower pace of life on Whidbey and the friendly, welcoming residents.
There is so much to explore on the island. Go out for the day and come home to your amazing cozy cottage or stay in all day and unwind with a book, a good friend, a bottle of wine and enjoy the beauty and serenity of Whidbey Island and the Puget Sound. Eagles on the beach at low tide, whales feeding in the shallows in the Spring, steps from the beach with no-bank waterfront - all of this in a community of only nine homes/cabins. There are no other cabins/homes for approximately a mile in one direction and two miles in the other which provides a perfect setting for romantic solitude and a safe haven for children and pets.
Upstairs is an open cathedral ceiling second story with two queen beds and a double bed.. Downstairs, in addition to a living room/kitchen area there is a small bedroom with a new full size bed with a 4 inch topper. Also, there is 3/4 bath with shower. Sit on the deck and enjoy views of the Cascades, Mt Baker, Mt Rainer and across the Beautiful views from Mount Rainier to Mount Baker, as well as, Hat Island, Mukilteo and Everett. Literally 10 steps down a slightly sloping concrete ramp. Only ten minutes from the ferry and five minutes from the charming town of Langley.
Please note that holidays such as New Years, Memorial Day, etc. that are not in the summer will be charged at summer rates. I do not post the following years rates until December. Reservations for the following year will not be accepted until the new rates are posted.
ABOUT PETS - Please note that pets are not allowed upstairs in the large, open sleeping area due to some guest's allergies. There is a dog gate and a door with which to close off the upstairs. Please note that dogs should be washed off outside - not in the shower. Washing them in the shower will necessitate the damage deposit not being returned. (Which goes directly to the cleaner.) Do not leave your dogs alone in the cabin or yard if they bark. This makes the neighbors crazy and I immediately receive irritating phone calls! I'm a long time dog mom so I understand that this is inconvenient for you. I'm sorry.

First Light is a non-smoking property. We have a no pets and shoes-off policy and no children under the age of 12.
IMPORTANT- if for any reason you need to cancel, YOU MUST CANCEL YOUR OWN RESERVATION. Simply pull up your VRBO account and cancel your reservation directly through VRBO prior to the “no fee cancellation period” of 14 days. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this causes. The guesthouse bedrooms are located on the second floor. The rooms are well appointed but please be aware that the ceiling height on the 2nd floor is 6’-8” and therefore is not recommended for individuals over 6’-5”. The master bedroom has a stunning view and is spacious and very comfortable.
The eat-in kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and the deck offers dining and lounging areas. Deer are frequent visitors and eagles nest nearby.
During March and April keep an eye out for whale watching boats. Gray whales spouting can often be seen.
The living room has a TV with cable and access to Netflix and HBO. There are books, games and puzzles as well as binoculars at your disposal.
There is a fire pit (upon request) with plenty of fire wood, when burn bans are not in place.
Although your privacy is important to us, we are available to answer questions or make recommendations on activities and restaurants.

Amazing view right on the water! Close to downtown Langley where they have wine tasting great food a movie theater art shops and more! Only an hour and a half from Seattle and a 15 minute ferry ride to Mulkiteo. Tv and internet provided as well as a full kitchen! 2 parking spots. Well furnished. Langley is an astounding place for a romantic or small family getaway. It’s a very quiet and calm area perfect for a short vacation away from the city.

- "This is a truly stunning home on a lovely lake. Beautifully decorated and super clean. It sits high up on a hill overlooking the lake through the trees. It's mostly very quiet as only electric motors are allowed on the lake. However there are many houses around the lake and a public access, and voices do travel. That said, I am super noise sensitive and I didn't have any problems with the noise levels. A huge plus is the property management company. They are very communicative and clearly take excellent care of the property. Plus there's a rowboat! I would return in a heartbeat."

There are several beautiful State Parks and the popular tourist attraction, Deception Pass Bridge. Oak Harbor is also the home of the Whidbey Island Naval Air Station. North of Oak Harbor is the waterfront town of Anacortes. Anacortes is the crown jewel of Fidalgo Island, and the easternmost island of the San Juan Islands. It is home to the Washington State Ferry terminal which serves the rest of the San Juans and Sidney/Victoria, British Columbia.

There are a number of comfortable places to sit outside to enjoy a cup of tea and a book. Inside, the cabin is roomy and very clean with all the amenities you need for either a short or a long stay. Each room, including the kitchen, is a generous size and very, very comfortable. I really enjoyed Putney Woods across the street. Loads of trails and just a great place to walk. I hope to be able to return soon. I can't imagine staying anywhere else when I get the chance to visit Whidbey."

Private, bright and comfortable. The Den is a fully private studio apartment with no kitchen located on the first floor of a two story building, the second floor is occupied. Located in downtown Langley walking distance to everything this little sea side town has to offer. Enjoy a stroll on the beach or a lovely evening out at the movies or local restaurants. .

Just minutes from the Clinton Ferry Terminal, downtown Langley and about a mile from Double Bluff Beach - this property offers a peaceful retreat not too far off the beaten path but just far enough. There are many nearby wineries, tap rooms, shops, and restaurants as well as some great trails, parks, and beaches. The guest home sits above our utility garage on the 5 acre property it shares with our family home. It has peekaboo views of Mt. Rainier, Puget Sound and neighboring farm land. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfy, and the grounds are beautiful. The property features a trail for walking, running and biking. 3 times around is approximately 1 mile. I am available by cell phone, and we have a dream team of locals within a 5 minute drive to provide in person support.
It’s very much about island life and the natural world here. Guests come to walk the beaches, explore the tidepools, and hike the trails. People also watch for local wildlife, such as eagles and herons, as well as grey and orca whales. Our tall Evergreens are a perennial draw. Other nearby activities and attractions include the nearby off-leash dog parks, wineries, beaches, boat launches, and marinas. We’re close to the artistic town of Langley with restaurants, galleries, shops, and easy access to the waterfront.
Although Bells Beach Lookout is not officially classified as ADA-compliant, modifications were made to the home to allow for wheelchairs, walkers, and scooters. Guests can enjoy a stairless entry using the carport parking and 36" wide hallways, entrances, and openings to rooms on the main floor.
There is parking behind the house in the two-car-covered carport, so guests can enjoy a stairless entry. The carport is flat, has motion detector lights, and is plenty wide enough for a van and another ten feet of room. Guests who require a 36" wide entry can use the glass gate from the carport, and follow the wide deck to the front of the house.
To enter the house, guests enter through the glass door on the front deck which is 36" wide and has a ramp on either side.

Enjoy the peaceful bliss of our water view home, just 10 minutes from downtown Langley and 7 minutes from Freeland.
This lovely beach house has 2 bedrooms - one with a queen bed and the other with a twin, both with excellent new mattresses, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Each bedroom has plenty of storage, too.. With 1 full bathrooms and a 3/4 bath, the house is perfect for 1 to 3 people.
This water view property also features amenities like WiFi, a washer/dryer, and heating. The house is well stocked with books, board games, a 65" Smart TV and a Bluetooth speaker that can pair with your phone or other device. The house is brand-new and tastefully decorated with designer furnishings.
The kitchen is especially well stocked with brand new appliances and just about every kitchen gadget imaginable, and a grill and dining table and chairs outside so that you can relax and look out at the stunning view while dining al fresco.
But it's the location that really sets this home apart. It is extremely quiet and peaceful. You will see deer in the yard every morning and at dusk from the large deck. The water view is just beautiful and very calming. The private beach is a 5-7 minute walk from the house.

The Huckleberry Glampsite is located on seven private acres at the end of a private road amongst the Giant Western Red Cedars and Alders, 1.5 miles from the Seaside Village of Langley with dining, shopping, whale watching, marina and so much more.

The 12'x16' concrete tent pad supports a spacious waterproof Octagon Colman tent for cozy shelter with a hinged door, 6'+ ceiling and indoor/outdoor carpet floor. The tent has a comfy queen bed with a 5-inch memory foam pad with a cover. There is nothing more relaxing than feeling the fresh forest air on your face while snuggled up in a warm bed.
The fire pit provides warmth and light while enjoying your favorite beverage under the cedars. Langley has a harbor and marina with boat mooring and launch, so if you wish to bring your boat/kayaks and crab or fish, we have available parking for trailers and boats 24 ft. or less. The *Purple Cottage* -- was found & salvaged (recycled!)-- moved onto the back of my property. This 16 X 12' place has been my studio in the past, but has offered overflow for friends & family. Nestled in the woods and ever-so-private, the cottage has a pull-out double futon, plus a small sleeping loft and can accommodate 1 -2 nicely (we will consider 3 if you have a small child, but it would be a tight fit!... There is a very small sleeping loft in the cottage.).
A French Press, double electric stovetop, microwave, & small fridge make up a "kitchenette" area. Cooking meals remains a little limited in the small area ...no five star gourmet meal preps here, I'm afraid! But cooking basic, simple meals for 2+ is doable. There is a small gas barbecue out in the deck area, along with the private hot tub, which is a great feature. There is a private community beach access about a 15 minute walk away. We have a water cooler in the cottage that holds 2 gallons of water at a time --water is readily available on the property and in the adjacent bath house (including, of course, HOT Water!). Utensils, plates, some coffee/tea for your first few days (if you are staying weekly or longer, you will need to replenish), sheets & towels are provided. A sweet deck & side yard has a gas BBQ, sitting/dining area, fire bowl/pit & Hot Tub, for your outdoor grilling, eating & soaking pleasures. An outdoor *Kitchen* is located in back of the cottage --all covered, but still rustic ...with cold running water, a stainless steel prep sink and 2 burner Colman camp stove. You are welcome to use it to expand your cooking / dishwashing possibilities.
The cottage offers privacy in a wooded setting. There are pathways & "contemplative points" throughout the property, in a natural garden setting. Depending on the season, there are fresh herbs growing on the property for incorporating into your culinary creations. The bathhouse offers hot showers, vanity & toilet & is steps away (and covered) from the main cabin! We are so proud & happy to have this project finished: A real labor of love...And about 75% of materials used in this project were repurposed / salvaged / recycled items.
The Purple Cottage sits on a shy wooded acre, with greenbelt buffers all around, maximizing the sense of privacy. We have a vintage Shasta Trailer across the driveway of the Purple Cottage, which is currently used as a music studio (and rarely as family/guest overflow), and I have my own small Artist Studio located also on the back of the property. Still, with all the little enclave of buildings, the Purple Cottage Studio retains a private feel all to itself. It is located in a quiet little neighborhood, about 6 miles from Langley & 6 miles from Freeland.. Private beach access is across the road and a 15 minute walk up the street, where you can beach comb & explore the shoreline out at our little point.
We are located 6 miles from the picturesque town of Langley and equal distance from Freeland, on the south end of Whidbey. Our area is very *bike-able* and either direction will get you to town!
The Purple Cottage offers a rustic retreat in a place that feels far away, but is an hour & a half from the bustling city of Seattle! There is reliable wifi available at the cottage.
** We really hope that folks wanting to book at our Purple Cottage read through all the details of this property, because we really want happy campers & chill guests! Just remember that this is not a "prissy" place --this is a little cabin on the edge of the woods...with adjacent bathroom & outdoor kitchen area. It's fun & a little funky...Real, working artists live on the property, which is always a "work in progress" and offers a bit of eclectic & unusual architecture, decoration, & landscaping . If you want a high-end accommodation, this is NOT the place for you.... BUT, If you love nature and glamping, you’ll no doubt enjoy this property’s “vibe”!

Hot tub use on the deck off the Purple Cottage, Beach access is a short walk away. There is an outdoor picnic area with a fire bowl/pit.
There is a covered *outdoor* sink / kitchen area with cold water only out in back of my little Expresso Stand Studio (the Studio itself is a private space, please). If you would prefer to wash your dishes there (way more roomy than the bath house sink), you are welcome to. We suggest bringing hot water from the bath house, washing your dishes and rinsing them in the sink with the cold water. The rinse water (gray water) flows off to the side into the forest. The stainless steel sink has plenty of room for a dish drying rack. This way, you can keep the bath house free for — well, bathroom needs!
We also have bins set up for recycling: one for cans / aluminum, one for glass. There is also a compost bin for your compost (fruit, veggie peelings, coffee grinds, egg shells, shellfish —but please NO MEAT SCRAPS OR BONES!)
There is a Colman 2 burner propane cook stove in the outdoor kitchen set up for *deluxe* cooking!

The space
The master bedroom and guest room both have comfortable queen beds, and the kids' room has two separate twin beds, with a pull-out trundle under one bed, as well as a pack-n-play for little ones. The kids' room has lots of unique features just for their enjoyment--perhaps they won't want to leave their room so you can be left in peace!
The 3 bedrooms are all on the second floor. The tall ceilings mean that the staircase is longer and steeper than typical. The only shower/bathtub is in the master bedroom, which can be inconvenient for larger groups. The half-bath is downstairs and also houses the laundry.
Please note: There are inherent dangers of children being children. Our insurance company asks us to remind guests that mixing life and children can cause injury. Heartsease Properties, LLC, cannot be held responsible for any (mis)use of the furniture or features. Furthermore, Heartsease is not to be held responsible for shenanigans, including but not limited to:
*scaling the cabin walls because they are made of logs
*crawling through the captains beds underspaces
*climbing the big cedar tree and getting sap all over hands and clothes

*walking on the deck railings (which is absolutely forbidden as it is likely to do permanent damage to the railings, though only temporary damage to the child)

Guests will have access to all rooms (kitchen, living room, baths, bedrooms) as well as one storage shed where some toys and tools are stored. There is another outbuilding with miscellaneous building materials that will remain inaccessible to guests, unless you are volunteering to clean the gutters, hang up holiday lights, and wash the deck.
Other things to note
We have excellent neighbors and want to maintain good standing in the neighborhood by renting only to guests who are respectful of people and property. We have asked our neighbors to call me about groups that are unusually loud, exceed the allowed number of guests, light fires during burn bans, bring pets, or in any way create disturbances in the neighborhood. Excessive noise complaints will also be directed to the non-emergency police.
In the event of a power outage, there is no water or gas heat. Full stop. Extra water is kept on the premises and will last a few days. The neighborhood is on well water, and has new and updated filters at the source. The cabin is equipped with flashlights and there is a propane heater in the log shed. Outages on the island occur more frequently and last longer than on the mainland, and they will only happen when the cabin is booked by guests....I promise.
Please note, there is no dishwasher. We are all sad about that but maybe 2025 is the year I get to update the kitchen.
20% discount for week-long rentals and stays are limited to two weeks (it takes work away from those who clean and care for the property).

This fully equipped very tiny house on wheels sits on a high bank waterfront lot overlooking Holmes Harbor. The white ship lap and exposed wood ceilings gives this tiny a beach house feel. Sit out on your tiny deck with a view or relax inside and enjoy sunset views thru the trees. We have seals in the 5 mile long harbor, and a very occasional visit from a whale. Eagles nest on the property. There is a public beach and boat launch just 2 miles down the road at Freeland Park.
The space
This tiny house on beautiful Whidbey Island is 18' long and 8' 4" wide. There are 3 steps up to the front door and stairs to the sleeping loft. The loft ceiling is pitched with 4' of headroom at the tallest end. Enjoy views of Holmes Harbor from your comfy queen bed.
On the main floor there is a full size sofa sectional. The kitchen has a full size fridge/freezer, 2 burner induction cook-top, combination convection oven/microwave, large sink and a dishwasher. We provide a Keurig with pods, basic cooking tools, a few spices and oil. There is also an all in one washer/dryer. The bath has a flush toilet, small sink and a 36" shower. Big fluffy towels are provided.
You can find beach access and a boat launch 2 miles down the road at Freeland park.
The neighborhood is an old fishing camp subdivision, humble, safe and quiet. There is an old 5th wheel on the property I use for storage.
I live in the tiny cabin but I am quiet and very respectful of your privacy. Pet fee is $50 per pet, per visit.

There will be times you hear us, although we are very aware of our guests and respect their need for quiet and we shut it down by 9:30 pm. But if you need complete solitude or want to cook, please look at the many other options in our area. There are plenty.
The backyard area here is private to the owners, so please keep your stay to the guest suite and front yard.

Guests will come in through the front door of the house (their private entry) and have access to the private guest room, full bathroom and the front porch. A cafe table and small refrigerator will make it easy to snack in the room when travelers are not out and about. There is no access to cooking or a microwave. An electric kettle and a pour over coffee set are available.
During your stay
I am happy to meet travelers coming to Whidbey Island and will engage as much or as little as they like. I do work for Island Shakespeare Festival so am not always around in summer as my work hours are odd. But I do love to run into my guests!

The Milking Barn is a tiny house on a farm in Langley near Freeland on Whidbey Island. This historic building was once used to store the day's milk production. The building has been carefully restored to make it a cozy tiny house. We are just 15 minutes from the ferry in Clinton. It's just 5 minutes to Double Bluff Beach and 15 minutes to downtown Langley. Enjoy this semi-rustic, semi-off-grid space on a working farm. Please read full details about the space before booking.
The space
The Milking Barn is approximately 11 feet by 13 feet with an 7-foot by 7-foot loft. There is a king-sized bed in the loft, which is accessible by a loft ladder. If you prefer not to sleep in the loft, the couch is a twin XL mattress, with another pull-out twin XL mattress underneath. This Milking Barn could possibly host 4 people, with 2 people in the king bed in the loft, and 1 person on the couch, and 1 on the pull-out mattress. However it is best suited for one or two people due to its small size. If you book for more than two people expect it to be very snug.
Pets are permitted. Pets must be under physical control (not verbal control) when outside on our property. Do not permit your pets to chase or harass the farm animals.
This facility is semi-rustic, semi-off-grid. The toilet is a composting toilet. The electricity is limited. It's enough to run the lights and charge your phone or laptop, but not enough to run a hairdryer. The bathroom does have a wonderful large shower, but no tub. The building is heated by a minisplit heater and air conditioner.

You will have access to a refrigerator, but it is in the barn building right next door and is shared with the other tiny house on the farm.

Parking is immediately next to the Milking Barn. There is a bus stop at the far corner of our farm, but the walk from the bus stop to the tiny house is a bit over a half mile, so it is more convenient to come with your own car.

The space
Rose Bluff is about 25 minutes North of the Clinton Ferry. It is about 10 minutes from downtown Freeland and 15 minutes from downtown Langley. This studio is a renovated daylight basement of a house. The owner lives upstairs but allows the guests privacy. There is a gated entry with a key code to the parking area and a private entrance on the ground floor with a keyless entry.
The home is situated on a high bluff facing west. We provide a key to the private beach access where you can hunt for rocks and shells and when the tide is out, take a long walk on the pillowy sand. There is also a building on the property, "the sanctuary" that guests have access to. The yard is fully fenced with latch gates, and no one will share the yard with you while you stay. Enjoy gazing out at the water on our newly built observation decks at the edges of the property. We have a wood fire pit in the yard and a gas fire table under cover for those rainy days. Enjoy the two-person sauna, massage bed, and workout equipment too! Rose Bluff is equipped with all-new appliances, Starlink internet, and a FREE Tesla level II charging station.
At Rose Bluff, we try our best to provide a holistic and peaceful retreat. We offer organic coffee, creamer, sugar, and locally grown honey. When in season, please feel free to pick from our garden beds, flowers, and fruit trees! We also offer a Berkey filter to ensure the highest quality filtered water and a high-end air filter. Draw the darkening shades, sleep soundly in our 600-count organic cotton bedding, and wake up to the view from your bed. Please note that we welcome pets, but we charge a $50 flat rate per pet per stay. This is not a nightly pet fee; it is just per stay.
Also, please note there are three steps up to the bedroom loft, with no railing. The loft is the bedroom and it is not full ceiling height. It’s a little under 6 feet tall so if you are a tall person, it may bother you.
Lastly, knowing that this rental is the bottom part of a whole house is important. Someone is living upstairs who has small dogs. He is cautious to keep them quiet and the dogs will never be in your space.

Guest access
Guests have covered parking. Sorry, no children or extra guests may stay overnight on the property, no exceptions. Guests have their own driveway to come and go as they please.

We enjoy greeting our guests and giving them a brief tour of the property upon arrival. The main house adjoins the B&B with a large covered deck to dine and enjoy the view. Separate entry so we are there to answer questions, etc. but we're far enough away so that our guests have privacy and their own driveway to come and go as they please.

We are pet & pedal friendly! Bring your bike and furry best friend and we'll give you some great ideas where to hike and bike.
If you plan to bring your pet, please call or write to us prior to making a reservation. It is important to us that your pet is well behaved and socialized as we do have other animals living on the property. We ask that you bring their bedding, bowls, leash, a towel to wipe wet paws and potty bags. Crate when not supervised. Please keep pets off the furniture and keep the property tidy. Please be respectful to our property. A big meadow for you and your best furry friend to frolic! No smoking (of any kind) inside or outside. No extra guests are allowed to stay over night. Sorry, no children are permitted on the property. Pets may never be left alone on property and guests are responsible for picking up after themselves and pets. Pets are not allowed on furniture. We do not charge a cleaning fee, therefore, as a courtesy, we ask that our guests tidy up the cottage and lodge prior to departure.

Although we have wifi and pay extra for a signal booster to the cabin, we do live on an island and unfortunately it is not 100% reliable 24-7.

Welcome to The Studio, a tiny house nestled in the woods of beautiful Whidbey Island. Featuring custom woodwork and trim milled from trees from the site, the art-filled cabin includes a double bed in the loft (accessed via a somewhat challenging spiral staircase), a well-equipped kitchenette and Wi-Fi with high-speed internet access. Situated on five acres of woodland seven minutes from scenic Langley, it's a lovingly built sanctuary ready for you!
The space
The Studio consists of a 200 square foot main floor and a 90 square foot loft, accessible via a narrow spiral staircase. The main floor has a sitting area with a sofa, a drop-leaf table that can be adapted to several functions; a kitchenette with mini-fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, electric teapot and toaster oven; and a bathroom with a shower. The loft provides a double bed.

The entire building is exclusively available to the booking guest.

The spiral staircase is narrow and can be challenging for some guests.

The space
the space is sunny and bright. 288 Sq Ft- Main loft has queen size bed, smaller loft has a single bed meas. just 70 inches, perfect for a smaller person. It faces west, getting the last light of the day. It has it's own wifi and many outlets have USB ports. It is also private and quiet. We are on 13 acres. There is a large bird feeding station that can be seen from the tiny house; and multiple bird baths. Over 50 bird species have been catalogued on the property. Please read through policies and rules.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire tiny home and yard area including a fire pit, chairs and picnic table. There are also a couple of wooded trails on our property that guests are welcome to explore. Though please be aware that there are residents in other buildings please respect their privacy.
Other things to note
We want to remind people that this is not a hotel, and not your party house. This is our home that we share, and as your hosts we make every effort and care to create Terrapin Station to be a one of a kind welcoming, charming, holiday/retreat for our guests. So in return; please be respectful of the space.
We live in the main house and there is a renter in cottage house next door, so please respect quiet hours from 10 P.M. -9 A.M.
For COVID safety; we wipe down all the handles, knobs, switches with isopropyl alcohol before each guest arrives. During the rainy season, heels and suede are not recommended.

Seasonal May - Sept. Private and spacious suite attached to our home on 3 acres, located between historic Langley and Bayview on lovely Whidbey Island. We listened and made updates! We feel we have created a luxurious setting based on our own travels over the years. We included things like guest robes, silent fridge, USB nightstand, luggage rack, sitting and eating areas, 55” TV, deck to enjoy the sun, and barbecue. If you enjoy a garden/orchard/forest setting you will love the outdoors too!
The space
The suite is a side wing of our main residence with its own private entry. The room is appointed with original works of art and the space arranged for maximum comfort and convenience. The French doors lead to your private deck with a view of the gardens. I think you will feel you have stepped into a very special place when you arrive!
Guest access
The suite has a private entrance at the front porch with a keyless lock. Your code will be the last six digits of your provided cell phone number. Our front door, just opposite the BnB entrance, has a ring camera and the driveway has a security camera. Otherwise, there are no cameras in the private spaces. The BnB bathroom located in the private small hallway next to the suite. The short hallway for the bathroom has a privacy curtain at which point the hallway turns left to go to the laundry room. It is designed so that, even if the curtain were not there, you are still assured privacy.
Other things to note
We have excellent WiFi and 3 locations with multiple USB ports in the room. The TV is a 55” Roku TV. It has free TV channels, we subscribe to PBS, Apple TV and there is access to other app portals via your own subscription. The suite also has a coffee maker with fresh ground coffee, milk/cream and sugar will be stocked upon request. There is also a hot water pot, various teas and, in the small fridge, cans of sparkling flavored waters and a Brita pitcher of water. There is a microwave, dishes, utensils, wine glasses and opener. Extra towels, beach towels, bathrobes, and hair dryer are located in the bottom drawers of the dresser. An iron and ironing board are in the utility closet in the bathroom. If there is anything else you need, just text me or knock at our front door.

Open and airy in the summertime and cozy and inviting come winter, this highbank waterfront home on Whidbey Island features an unforgettable view of Saratoga Passage. This is a place to savor the quiet atmosphere, look for orca spouts and bald eagles from the deck, and enjoy walks on the beach via the Baby Island Beach Club entrance.
This two-story home sits near Rocky Point seven miles northwest of Langley, on a lovely piece of waterfront property with a grassy lawn and a spacious deck - a wonderful spot to barbecue and dine with a commanding view of the passage.
The interior is a showcase of the same vistas, not to mention lofty ceilings, exposed beams, and details of natural wood. The main living space is on the first floor, where you can sip your morning coffee in the window seat and cap each evening with a movie by the wood-burning stove. Fill the in-between hours in the well-appointed kitchen with stainless steel appliances, an island with a gas cooktop, and a window-lined dining space for six.
At night, leave the day's clothes in the care of the washer/dryer, retreat upstairs to the loft workspace to log onto the WiFi, or sweat out any lingering stress in the primary suite's private sauna. This bedroom also offers its own balcony with a beautiful water view.
