Just up the hill from Carillon Point, this lower level, private apartment is in a house in the high end neighborhood of Houghton in South Kirkland. It is one block from a 6 mile trail. You'll love the place with its quiet location and beautiful garden entrance. The apartment is 1200 square feet 2 bedroom, 3/4 bath with large living/dining space, plus a 200 sf private, covered patio space with beautiful views of Lake Washington, Olympic Mountains, and the Seattle skyline in the distance. It has a small, but cute and functional kitchenette with new compact appliances (no dishwasher, disposal). There is a strict quiet hours policy from 10pm - 6 am.

I have one dog that has zero access to the unit, but has free reign of the fenced backyard. He is occasionally active from 6:00 am, but quiet hours apply to them too. He will bark when I come home via the garage and when someone knocks on my front door, but downstairs guests are mostly ignored.

If you're arriving by car, you'll have your own dedicated parking spot (although there is also ample visitor parking in front of the building).

The Neighborhood:
You’ll be staying in one of the best locations in Bellevue. Not only can you walk to the West Microsoft Campus and Goldsmith neighborhood park, but you’ll also be located close to Overlake Square & Plaza. If you want to spend the day hiking, then Bridle Trails State Park is also a short drive away.

In addition to the local sights, downtown Redmond can be reached by car in just over 5 minutes. The condo is also minutes to Highway 520 & 405, so you can easily access downtown Bellevue or Seattle.

The condos are older on the outside but recently flipped/renovated on the inside and matches the pictures. Kitchen has all the basics (pots, pans, mixing bowls, cooking utensils, salt/pepper, NO oil) to make your own meals. King bed is medium firmness, softer than my ideal but that’s all personal preference. I visited during a strange heat wave, so if needed a portable window a/c unit is in the bedroom and the cold air can make it to the living room enough to be comfortable (but not below like 72-74ish for those who need it colder). It’s loud because it’s a portable unit but eventually it became background white noise. Check-in was a bit confusing just on where to find the lockbox to get the keys, but host was immediately responsive, friendly, and helpful. Condo is up 3 flights of stairs. Overall great place for my needs and would stay again."

The house is next to a park (Mark Twain Park) as there is a playground, basketball courts, and a place for walking/running we have a back gate in the back yard to access towards the park.
