Welcome to Acadia Farms!! This 10 acre horse farm is filled with a rich history of Industrial Titans, and U.S Presidents. This North East Ohio Gem was originially owned and built by Cyrus Eaton, who was most known for founding one of the largest steel companies in the U.S. He also was the "protege" of the wealthest industrialists in the world at the time, John D Rockefeller. This farm became well known as a horse and cattle farm, which became the home of several nationally acclaimed show horses and cattle. President Eisenhower and John D Rockefeller were 2 of many well know figures in American history that have been known to stay and visit at the farm.

This large historical home has 6 bedrooms, and 9 beds. It can accommodate up to 18 adults, with comfort and plenty of space. It has 3.5 bathrooms, a very large living room, a "kings den", and a very large well equipped kitchen. All 6 of the bedrooms (9 queen beds in total) are on the 2nd floor, with 3 full bathrooms, and a small tv room area also. Outside there is plenty to explore. It has a large grass area with a play area for the kids to enjoy, and a large gathering area for the adults right outside of the home. It has several areas where the horses can be seen from the house roaming in the fields, and a barn that is occupied by several goats and ponies. Whether you're looking for a place for a family gathering, a corporate retreat, lodging for a wedding party or just a place to rest your head while you explore the area, we can accommodate!! Welcome to the Green Door Guesthouse! Our home is located very close to the main road that goes through the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, which will serve you well as you explore all the park has to offer.

Whether you're coming to visit family in Ohio or passing through our area for a some hiking and outdoor activities, our home will comfortably host a group of 6 with three bedrooms, closets, dining area and spacious kitchen.

Arriving at our home you'll find the parking area to the right side of the driveway. Please utilize this space for easy parking when coming and going.
Also note that while our home is on a spacious and largely quiet lot, Chippewa Rd is a main road in town and can be busy. Be watchful of children when in the front yard.

Upon entering our home, you'll be enjoying a *professionally cleaned* space.

**Fee Transparency**
Between paying our cleaner to clean our home and paying for professional laundry service (all that beddings take a while!), we pay a total of $145. We currently only charge guests $120, so we pay a bit each time :) We hope you understand this fee and why we ask for it.

When you come in, you will find yourself in the main living room. Here you can kick off your shoes and relax, read a book, play a game, or watch your favorite movies or TV shows. There is a soundbar to connect to for music, and a phone charger on the credenza that will charge any device that has Qi abilities. Turn on the fireplace and enjoy the warm ambience it provides, and with no clean up :)

Moving to the right you will find the three bedrooms and bathroom in the home. The first bedroom on the left has a queen-sized bed, decorated with outdoor-inspired wallpaper and two bedside reading sconces. The windows in this room overlook the backyard area.

The middle bedroom to the right of the bathroom has two single bed frames and cozy comforters on each. The windows in this room overlook the rear corner of our backyard.

The last bedroom has a queen-sized bed, two bedside tables with lamps, a dresser, and also contains the travel crib in the closet. This is a spacious room, and the windows overlook the front driveway. In the closet we also provide an iron and fan.

After you've settled in, make your way to the fully loaded kitchen where you'll find a dining area with seating for 6. The table can extend if you prefer, or you can keep it as-is for a more intimate dining style. It's a bright and cheerful kitchen, and you'll enjoy the spaciousness it provides. You'll find all the serving ware in the upper cabinets, silverware in the drawers, and cookware in the lower cabinets. The kitchen is amply stocked with appliances, including several ways to make coffee with our provided single-origin coffee, a blender, a toaster, and more.

But the true star of the show is our double-Belgian waffle iron...be the brunch hero as you dish out large, fresh, hot Belgian waffles drenched with our provided maple syrup (waffle batter is provided too!) This thing pumps out two waffles at a time, so you'll keep those hungry bellies full.

The rear door of the house is off the kitchen and leads to our back patio. With the winter months upon us, the patio is bare of furniture until spring. There is a gas grill on the patio if you do have the urge to whip up some burgers. The patio overlooks our spacious backyard, which includes a large open space perfect for throwing a frisbee, football, or playing small pickup games. There is also a kids clubhouse that we will have more stocked come springtime.

Back inside we do have a basement where we offer a washer and a dryer. There's not much to say other than it's a basement :) But we do hope you enjoy the convenience of being able to do your laundry in a pinch if needed.

Clean & Comfortable townhouse condo just 20 minutes away from many attractions. MGM casino and live entertainment just 5 minutes up the street as well as the Cleveland Metro parks, Blossom Music & Brandywine ski resort are just a shot ride away.
My space is nestled in a small family friendly old Italian neighborhood. My favorite market Peppers is just up the main road when groceries are needed. High end shopping , big box stores, and quaint little towns with unique shops and dinning are close as well. I love the diversity in my neighborhood as well as the variety of to do’s on my day off.

Let me tell you the moment you walk in it feels like home, very very clean and comfortable. Her décor was amazing and the bottle of wine left for us was greatly appreciated. When I say this place has everything I mean EVERYTHING you would ever need. Down to extra toothbrushes, shower gel and lotion. Her paintings on the wall are superb (as I love art). There is three floors the basement with the W/D, main floor and the upstairs bedroom. Please keep in mind, there is no TV in the bedroom but we were fine with that. We do not smoke but it was nice that she has a patio if you are smoker (nice touch). The location is .06 miles from the casino and places to eat. The only small issue is, if you are a light sleeper the neighbors next door have kid(s) and you will hear them in the morning running around. We are ok as we have grandchildren so we are used to it. This will be our get away location in the future. I am thinking of having a chef come in and cook for my husband bday in August. Thank you for the pleasant location!!!"

Cozy efficiency that is all redone. Beautiful setting overlooking Brandywine Creek! Listen to the creek on the patio. Work on your computer while watching wildlife out of your windows with lots of natural light. This property is a duplex and this unit is the left side efficiency with one bedroom, one full bathroom, and kitchenette with microwave, a plug-in 2-burner cooktop, and 2 mini fridge. The other unit is a 2-bedroom with full kitchen and we offer a discounted rate if you book both together (if availability allows).

remodel with cozy multi setting fireplace (year round use!). Completely furnished in
a great neighborhood a minute to freeways! This is a week minimum rental. Plenty of parking. Great patio area for entertaining. Ski resort down the road and another within minutes. Brandywine Falls and Cuyahoga Valley National Park with Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railway within minutes. MGM in Northfield as well! Lots to do and close to Cleveland or Akron with Rock N Roll Hall of Fame and one of the best Theatre Districts in the country. Also try the Historical West Side Market. Top Chefs in Cleveland and the best of the best restaurants.

- "Would stay here any time I was in the area and it's available!" - "The house is larger than the pictures show with good size rooms. It sits near major roads and I was concerned on arrival that the noise would bother me, but once inside we didn't hear the traffic. The owner left a good selection of snacks and fruit which was nice touch. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook some meals. We took advantage of the Red Lock parking area about a mile from the house to access the Towpath. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone visiting the Cuyahoga Valley. Convenient to everything in the park."
