- "The rooms were great!" - "Very hospitable " - "Staff was extremely nice! Very friendly and greeted you each time you came in. This goes beyond the front desk staff - the maintenance workers were also extremely friendly and made a point to say hello. The room was also nice as well - but some things that could have been better is the cleanliness of the room. The white linens had dirt stains on them as well as the shower drain was clogged - also during my shower in the morning hair from a previous person started to come up out of the drain onto my feet. This was a pretty disgusting situation. There were also dirt stains on the couches and the door. A possible deep clean and slight upgrade to the rooms would make a massive difference! Overall I think this is a great hotel and would stay here again in the future. "

- "I signed up for a one bedroom suite - with the description noting a separate bedroom, with a door. We arrived and advised none were available, and given a general suite. While not horrible, I am very dissatisfied with my first experience with VRBO being a switch without notification. I take medications that cause significant problems sleeping. We specifically chose a one bedroom suite with door to allow my husband to sleep. At the hotel, they were polite, but simply noted no such suites available. I do not believe we will use VRBO again."

- "Stayed here one night for a 10k race with a friend. We decided to book it again for our next 5k race in June. The staff was so great. My friend forgot her charging cube and the front desk attendent let her use her own for the night. The hotel is in a gated community and has an interesting history. The beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. The hotel is historic but in really great shape. Keep in mind, some things are dated like curtains, outlets, refrigerators, but in working order and for me it wasn't a problem."
