The white linens had dirt stains on them as well as the shower drain was clogged - also during my shower in the morning hair from a previous person started to come up out of the drain onto my feet. This was a pretty disgusting situation. There were also dirt stains on the couches and the door. A possible deep clean and slight upgrade to the rooms would make a massive difference! - "Stayed here one night for a 10k race with a friend. We decided to book it again for our next 5k race in June. The staff was so great. My friend forgot her charging cube and the front desk attendent let her use her own for the night. The hotel is in a gated community and has an interesting history. The beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. The hotel is historic but in really great shape. Keep in mind, some things are dated like curtains, outlets, refrigerators, but in working order and for me it wasn't a problem."

- "This was a lovely house in rural Ohio. The rolling green fields and abundant wildlife was on full display for us, what a beautiful setting. The house was a great space for our family. The hosts provided some supplies, but it felt sparse to us (two and a half laundry tablets for our family of seven, no tissue boxes, no extra garbage bags, etc.). There were some details that could have been improved on, such as not having bedside lamps, no hanging hooks near the main shower in the basement, etc. Also, we pulled up during a heavy rainstorm only to find that parking next to the front door is not permitted. We had to pull back around down the street to drag our suitcases through the yard, down the stairs, and in through the basement door in the rain, which wasn't fun (we didn't know how long it would be raining, and didn't want to leave our cars at risk of being towed.) The beautiful setting and the cleanliness of the home went a long way to make up for these details."

- "We LOVED this place. In town for our teen’s soccer event at the Hall of Fame Sports Complex- a stone’s throw from the fields. The listing was exactly as presented with extremely cute furnishings! Well-appointed kitchen. Was a colder weekend, house warmed up beautifully after adjusting the thermostat to 68. Fun play/hangout space in the basement (accessible through the garage). This is a split level house with three sets of stairs and no bathroom on the main level (for those traveling with mobility issues). I am incredibly picky about cleanliness and had not one concern- even in the unfinished basement area where the washer and dryer are located. There are not blackout curtains in the bedrooms, but I’m a finicky sleeper and therefore always travel with a sleep mask, so it wasn’t a problem at all. Host was very responsive to any quick questions, even prior to check in. We very much enjoyed this house and would’ve been happy and comfortable there for an extended stay. Will definitely rebook next year if we are back again!"
