• Booking Requirements: Guests must be at least 25 years old to book and have at least one positive review from a prior stay. This policy ensures the safety and respect of our home.
• Guest Limit & Information: In compliance with local laws, a maximum of 16 people are allowed inside the home. All visitors must be included in your total guest count, and a list of guests must be provided prior to your stay.
• Parties & Noise: Unauthorized parties or events are strictly prohibited. Outdoor music must be kept at a reasonable volume and turned off by 10 PM. Indoor music is welcome after 10 PM as long as doors and windows remain closed. Only small portable Bluetooth speakers (12”x12” or smaller) are permitted—no party boxes, DJ equipment, or large speakers allowed.
• Respecting Neighbors: Property managers Audrey and Matt live next door with their young children. Please be considerate of noise levels, especially during evening hours.
• Property Rules:
• No smoking or vaping indoors.
• No marijuana use anywhere on the property.
• No pets.
• No weapons.
• No confetti or glitter—cleanup is difficult and will result in an additional cleaning fee.
• Outdoor Amenities: The pool is seasonal, open from May (weather permitting) through September, with a maintained temperature of 82°F. The hot tub is available year-round.
• Parking: Please park in designated areas and avoid parking directly in front of the carriage house or blocking Audrey and Matt’s vehicles. A parking map will be provided in the garage.

The strawberry house is a recently updated 2 story house in Massillon, Ohio with a large yard and outdoor fire pit. Inspected and certified by the City of Massillon.
We call it the strawberry house for two reasons:
1. It has strawberry red siding
2. there are lots of strawberry plants, so if you visit during strawberry season (end of May to mid June) you may be able to pick some fresh, homegrown strawberries during your stay!

The space
The upstairs has 2 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom (bathtub). The main level has the other full bathroom (shower), living room, dining room and kitchen. And there is a washer, dryer and clothes line in the basement for laundry.

Parking
There is a gravel driveway behind the house to park up to 4 vehicles and free street parking.

Extra Guest Fee
Per City of Massillon regulation our maximum occupancy is 6. There is a $10 per night per guest charge for guests 5 and 6 for extra cleaning/utilities/wear and tear. We do this to keep the price lower for those with fewer guests rather than increase the price for everyone.

New windows allowed us to let in the fresh air and the updated bathrooms made getting ready easy. What a treat to have an old claw tub! Having a washer and dryer on site made our life so much easier, as we are on a long road trip and needed to do laundry while we were there. The only thing we would’ve liked and didn’t have was some chairs on the front porch to be able to sit on, but otherwise everything was awesome. The yard was large and although we didn’t see any strawberries, the plants are looking well for next year’s fruit. We will definitely be back when we come to the area to visit family again. "

- Please remove shoes in the house
- Please do not put any food down the drain. All food scraps need to be put in the garbage
- Guests are to park in the designated visitor parking area. Feel free to pull up near the house to load/unload vehicles, but please do not block the path to get in and out of the garage. We live on the property and must be able to get in and out of the garage for work.

Property Rules
- Guests are free to explore the walking trails in the woods, but must stay within our property lines. **We ask that you please keep to our side of the gravel lane and be respectful of the neighbor who also shares the lane to get to their driveway.** The pond is not part of our property and guests are not permitted to go near the pond.

- Tip for using the upstairs shower: to turn on the shower, turn water on and pull straight down on the ring on the end of the water spout.

Hot Tub Rules:
- No glassware in or around the hot tub
- Max of 5 guests in the tub at a time
- Please shower off before using
- No smoking in the hot tub
- There are 4 buckles that secure the hot tub cover, please make sure all buckles are unsnapped prior to lifting the cover
- Please do not put hot tub cover on the ground. After unsnapping the buckles, gently slide the cover into the black cover caddy
- Please replace hot tub cover immediately after using to avoid unnecessary loss of heat

Checking out:
- Check-out is no later than 10am to allow for proper cleaning of the entire cabin in between guests
- Dishes to be washed and put away prior to checkout
- Garbage bags to be placed in outside trash bins
- Dirty towels to be place in white laundry baskets

Come enjoy the serenity of the landscape watching the cows out to pasture and beautiful views while sitting in the hot tub or around the incredible decking and outdoor fireplace. Enjoy the cabin, gazebo and beautiful surroundings. Stop to see the pygmy goats Mocha and Latte and all the baby calves.
We are within minutes of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Massarelli Baseball Sports Complex, Amish Country, Zoar village, Hiking and Biking trails, Canoe Livery, Atwood Lake, shopping, restaurants, wineries and many Wedding Barns.

The patio has a built-in fireplace and natural gas grill that looks onto a backyard surrounded by a privacy fence and stately trees. String lights and beautiful landscaping makes this the perfect space for a slow evening with loved ones.

Stepping inside, you will find a welcoming living room, bright kitchen, and an inspiring work space. In the living room, a velvet couch can transform into a full sofa bed. The large writing desk paired with 3 rattan chairs looking onto the front porch is the perfect space to catch up on emails.

The kitchen is fully stocked with a toaster, pots and pans, serving bowls, and a full line of glassware. We have a variety of coffee bar options for the coffee connoisseur; fresh beans, a pour-over, french press, or a generic coffee maker. We also have multiple tea options, such as dried peppermint or matcha. If you prefer grabbing a coffee to go, no worries– there are two coffee shops nearby.

Upstairs, you’ll find a queen bed in the master and twins in a secondary bedroom. We have one full bath and a laundry room for you to use at your convenience. **please note that both the bathroom and laundry are on the main floor

A unique feature of your stay could be our flower arranging station in the kitchen. Here you’ll find a variety of vases, basket, garden gloves, and snips. Guests are invited to cut their own bouquet from a flower garden in the backyard.

pathway, a firepit with seating, a charcoal grill, and a bistro table

Things to Note :
Kayaks are available from May to October. A waiver must be signed upon
arrival (located at the A-frame). Please text us a photo of your signed waiver

Catch-and-release fishing is allowed. Please fish only from the designated
areas to protect the pond’s fountain system.
Privacy is a priority—while our home sits on the same 15-acre property, dense
trees, distance, and a privacy fence ensure you won’t see or hear us. Previous
guests consistently rave about how secluded the A-frame feels.

Optional Add-Ons available for special stays:
Breakfast Box ($90): Fresh bread, jam, croissants, farm eggs, fruit, butter,
and juice.

The Cave is a tastefully decorated unit that is accessed through the rear of the building, and you will descend down a flight of stairs to the entrance. The washer and dryer are located outside the main door of the unit. The main door to the suite is then to the left, where you will enter into the rear of the space. You’ll pass the three bedrooms and a small office alcove and then reach the main living space of the unit. There is a cozy couch, and full eat-in kitchen.

Guests will have access to the basement unit, street parking and washer and dryer. There is an emergency exit-only door at the end of the suite which is outfitted with an alarm. The door and exit can only be used in case of an emergency.

The Cave is located on a very quiet street. There are a lot of fun things to do in Downtown Massillon, which is just over a mile from this location.

Cleveland is 1 hour drive
Akron is 20-30 minute drive
Canton (Civic Center and Hall of Fame) is
approximately 18 minute drive

This location also sits a couple blocks away from the main state route that take you directly into the heart of Amish country that is just a 30 min scenic drive into Berlin Ohio.

It also sits about 6 blocks away from the Ohio and Erie Canal bike trail with countless miles of hiking and biking. Along with river fishing and a canoe/ kayak livery about 2 miles away.

There is plenty of street parking

**If the unit requires excess amounts of cleaning - it will be charged back to the guest. Excess means extra elbow grease to get the place spotless, not standard wear and tear. We include a cleaning checklist and checkout instructions in the suites so you know what is considered `standard`.

HVAC is controlled in upstairs unit.
