A quaint, cozy little cabin newly remodeled March 2025, set on 60 wooded acres perfect for a couples getaway. Only 8 minutes to a great downtown for shopping unique boutiques, dining, local wineries, breweries and a distillery! Enjoy peace & tranquility in natures setting that surrounds you. Cozy up to a massive stone wood burning fireplace both inside and on the screened in porch. The brand new private hot tub boasts natural spring water and is just outside the door from the cabin and overlooks the natural spring ponds. Comfortable occupancy for 3 people. Best suited for 2 or 3 adults, or parents with children.

Owners live onsite, and our home is across the yard separated by some landscaping and can be seen from the cabin. We give guests complete privacy but are available should you need anything!

The cabin is nestled in a "Hidden Valley" down a long 1/4 mile steep and winding but beautiful driveway. It is steep and windy with a hillside on one side and a ravine on the other. The driveway is partially paved and also filled with gravel and asphalt grindings as needed for maintenance. If you go slow you will be just fine. Winter months may require only a 4WD. If temps are frigid, we close the cabin. If you book during Winter months, we keep an eye on the 10 day forecast. If temps are too cold or snow is severe, you can cancel penalty free with 100% refund due to weather (during Winter months only)

If you park in the driveway it is exactly 39 yards (or 117 feet) to walk to the front stoop of the cabin. If this is a concern you are welcome to park directly in front of the cabin door with wide and easy access to pull around and exit when the ground is dry. This isn't possible during rain or snow. Our property and drive resemble places like Hocking Hills or the Mohican State Park area but not as hilly as the mountains of West Virginia! If you are afraid to drive in the rolling hills of places like these, our cabin is not for you.

The cabin sits just feet away from the naturally spring fed pond which keeps it looking crystal clear and is great for swimming or fishing. The sandy beach offers a great place to lounge by the waters edge. We also stock it with bluegill, bass, catfish and crappie- a throwback rule applies. The cottage is an open floor plan so the beds are in a "common space" with no bedrooms or doors but the large bathroom is private. We have one King Size bed and one Twin sleeper sofa. The cabin has a wonderful large stone fireplace inside & outside on the screened porch, bonfire pit, full kitchen, Satellite TV, Flat Screen RokuTV, Blu Ray DVD, wireless speakers, cellphone charging stations, movies, board games, bocce ball, yard dice & fast Wifi.

UPDATED FIREPLACE RULES! We have a wood burning fireplace. Due to recent damages and neglecting to close the safety screens, we must ask that you only burn "Duraflame" logs in the fireplace and you must close the safety screens at all times and never leave the fireplace unattended. No exceptions. We do not provide these, but you can purchase them at nearby stores like Walmart or hardware stores. Thanks for understanding and keeping our cabin and yourself safe.

PETS- MUST be communicated ahead of booking. We just remodeled the cabin in March 2025. New flooring, custom made furniture and custom cabinets. Pets must be well behaved and no more than 2, never left alone inside the cabin unless they are in a crate (we do have an XL crate to use) or they must go with you if you leave. No exceptions. Pet damages are full responsibility of guest. Pets are addition $50 and should be added to your reservation.

A self check in time is anytime 3pm or after. Check out is promptly by 10 am. We do need time in between guests to prepare so an early check in or a late check out cannot be accommodated. Please respect our check in and check out times. We strive to maintain a 5 star guest experience and the time in between guests is much needed to clean and prepare for the perfect stay! Please note we have one exterior security camera at the entrance to our drive. This is 1/4 mile away from the cabin and only covers the drive entrance. There are no other cameras anywhere near the rental unit.

Nobody nearby except the owners, who are very nice and responsive. Wooster is 10 minutes. This is a rustic handbuilt cabin for 2 adults for a camping experience. Twin bunk beds. We will provide sheets but please bring own bedding. Quickly go back to a simpler time where your heat is a wood stove and your alarm clock is the birds singing. No electricity. Outhouse with ecofriendly toilet and running water (for washing only). LED lantern and solar lights provided to light your way. Back porch with comfortable chairs to rest on. Outdoor firepit with cooking grate. Gazebo next to cabin with table for enjoying your meals or playing a game of checkers or cards. Enjoy a walk around the property on trails. Wildflowers and gardens. Bring your charcoal or use our wood. Cash donations for wood accepted. Catch and release fishing in pond. Smoking outside of cabin allowed. Alcohol allowed in moderation. Consider staying 2 nights so you have a full day to have time to enjoy the local area. While it is usually quiet the sounds of country can be heard which includes farm machinery, animals, local private gun club can be heard occasionally.

Guests will have access to the walking trails, pond, and pavilion. Please wander and enjoy the beauty. Have a relaxing meal in the pavilion by the pond.

The Trading Post. Look around inside or sit on the rocking chair on the front porch. We have items hand made locally by our Amish neighbors and curiosities hand made by Cabin for 2 owners.

We are located in heart of an Amish community. You may see buggies, horse teams, animals of all kinds. Owner may be able to take you to visit Amish blacksmith shop, sawmill, and organic produce farm. These visits subject to Amish availability. Nearby attractions include Ashland University, Dragway 42, Grandpa's Cheesebarn, produce auction (seasonal), and local Amish roadside stands. Many food options available in Ashland or bring your own and use our grill.

Please be careful and watch out for Amish buggies/ wagons moving slowly on roadways. All main roads until our rural road.

Inside you will find high end luxury amenities, a luxurious King size bed, full kitchen and dining. The tent has well water but we have added a water cooler service for your drinking water. The tent has air conditioning and 2 large ceiling fans. For cool nights we have heaters for you. Large separate bath house is just steps away with a dual shower head, rainfall shower and bluetooth speakers. Then enjoy the hot tub that overlooks the creek to soak your cares away. Large front porch to sit and listen to the creek or enjoy bird watching. Evenings you can enjoy a fire in the firepit or even grill over the fire. We also have a regular gas grill to use. Please note the Safari Tent is for TWO adults only, No children. no pets and no smoking anywhere on the property. Please note we have one exterior security camera at the entrance to our drive. This is 1/4 mile away from the Safari tent and only covers the drive entrance. There are no other cameras anywhere near the rental unit.

This is the perfect place for friends and family to get together and relax, either just sitting under the shade trees or by the heated indoor pool or in the cozy octagon sunroom. - "Very nice old home built in the late 1800’s Is very spacious has a wonderful heated pool. The interstate is close so you are only minutes away from just about anything you need. The grounds outside are spacious and allow for outdoor gaming like badminton." - "We had a wonderful time on our second stay at this location. Everything was wonderful with some minor bumps in the road that were quickly solved by the property manager. My only complaint is the air conditioning needs to be stronger for the house. During both stays, we found that the AC wasn't cold enough for the size of the house. We were prepared for the second time around and brought some extra fans which definitely helped. Thank you for letting us stay a second time. We definitely want to come back for our next large group outing!!"

Ou beautiful 1920's cottage is full of charm. Watch the sailboats race on Sundays. Walk to The Oaks fine dining restaurant. Windows face every angle of the lake and will offer breathtaking views of the sunset no matter where you are in the house. This original Chippewa Lake Park cottage has tons of character. Launch your boat on the public ramp for a day of water skiing or fishing.

Plenty of space, very clean, gorgeous sunsets, and close proximity to the venue we were in town for." - "Communication before end during the stay was great. The host and house itself was great." - "My wife and I came to the white cottage on the lake for our 24th wedding anniversary. It was quiet and quaint, but a bit cold since we got our 1st snow of the season. It took a while for the furnace and space heaters to get to a comfortable temperature, although it didn’t ruin the experience. We would like to come back in the summertime for a bit longer stay to enjoy the outdoor experience of the deck and maybe even the lake with family/friends. We also got to experience the restaurant nearby which enhanced our stay even more since we didn’t want cook with a short stay. The only suggestion I would have is, unless I overlooked it in website, it took me about 10 minutes checking each door numerous times for a keypad. What a sign of relief when I finally noticed the lockbox mounted to the front railing,. I was trying to surprise my wife for a romantic weekend away and I thought I got scammed. Nope, once we got inside and saw how nice and cozy it was decorated and how much it had a feel of home. We talked about sitting down with the owners to hear the story of their times at the cottage. We imagined it was their getaway retreat home for the weekends to waterski and enjoy the lake. My wife worked with someone who’s husband we believe skied on the same ski team and they probably know each other. Never having a honeymoon this place was perfect for us and we couldn’t recommend it enough. I wish we go there once a month for a mini retreat from the hustle and bustle of life."

- "Just what we needed" - "We had a lovely stay in this two bedroom apartment. I was visiting my daughter at The College of Wooster which was only a few blocks away from the house. If it wasn’t 10 degrees out at the time I would have taken a nice walk there. There was a lovely kitchen so I could make some recipes from home and it had everything we needed. The apartment was in a nice, quiet, safe neighborhood and is on the top floor so you have to go up some stairs (I think you could probably rent the first floor rooms if stairs are a problem). We had a great visit and found the place to be clean and with a good amount of space to watch some movies and catch up with my kiddo…it was a lovely apartment. Thanks!"

You will have access to the residence through a private entrance at the rear of the home and one at the front of the home. Please note that the front entrance allows you into a common area in which there is another entrance that has a key code access that will allow you into your private space that has all amenities, such as living, dining, kitchen, bath and bedrooms. There is a washer and dryer located in the common area that you are more than welcome to use during your stay.

We are available if needed or desired. We plan to let you enjoy your stay in private and do not plan on having any interaction unless there are any questions or concerns. We are also more than glad to meet you if you would like if there are any questions. This is a private apartment that you have to yourself during your stay. You are not sharing the apartment space with anyone else during your stay.

Please note that there is additional parking on the opposite side of the street on the side of the home, but there is no street parking allowed at the front of the home due to city restrictions.

All the amenities you will need for a comfortable and affordable stay. Relax in the living room, enjoy one of three queen size beds along with a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. Also feel free to park in our attached one car garage.

This is a fully furnished apartment that has all the amenities of home. It is an updated apartment in an older home, but thoughtful touches and attention have been taken to make this feel very comfortable and relaxing. You'll be pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere and the space that you'll have while staying here. The apartment is conveniently located within a couple short blocks of the college, and just a short distance to the wonderful downtown Wooster with plenty of shops and dining.

Please note that this is a second floor apartment, so there is a flight of stairs.

There are three bedrooms. One bedroom has a king bed, another bedroom is suited with a queen bed, and the third bedroom is equipped with a day bed that has a pull out trundle. If you feel that you would like or need an air mattress, please inquire. There are several additional sleep arrangements that we can meet. There is a full bathroom that has a shower/tub. The Kitchen is brand new and has all items necessary for cooking during your stay. The living room flows nicely to the dining area and kitchen to give you more of an open atmosphere. Our cozy three bedroom, 1.5 bath home is located near Downtown Wooster, College of Wooster, Amish Country, Ohio State University Agricultural Institute, Secrest Arboretum, Wayne County Fairgrounds, Wineries, Ohio Light Opera House, Minglewood Distillery, JAFB Brewery, thrift shops, coffee shops, Lynch's Irish Import Store, Killbuck Marsh Wildlife Area, and so much more!

We can accommodate six guests with two queen sized beds and one double bed. We have Wi-Fi, Smart TV, reclining couch and chairs, Keurig coffee maker, a variety of teas and coffees to enjoy in our sitting room, stereo, games for the family, books and magazines.

We are close to Amish Country where you can shop and sight-see how the Amish live. Come back to relax by sipping coffee or tea, listening to jazz on the stereo, or playing games with the family.

Bring your camera and enjoy Secrest Arboretum, Killbuck Marsh Wildlife Area, or one of the numerous parks nearby

Welcome to the Bowman House. Just a 9 minute walk from the College of Wooster, there is room for the whole family to visit! Our home features 3 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, a large office with a pull out couch, and a game room for those high stakes ping pong tournaments with your kids!

On the first floor:

On the 2nd Floor:

The guests will have access to the first and second floors, as well as the he front and back porches.

The off-street parking is behind the house. That is where you will enter the property.
1. Check-in is at 3 pm. You will receive check-in instructions at 9am the day of your check-in.
2. No smoking in the house. Smoking is allowed outside. Do not dispose of butts in the bushes or grass.
3.Please remove shoes in the house.
4. No parties or third-party visitors are allowed. Registered guests only.
5. Please leave used towels in the bathroom.
6. Please be respectful of the neighbors and keep noise levels to a minimum after 9pm.
7. Report any damages immediately. Any damages that exceed the deposit must be paid for by guests and will be reported to Airbnb.

We have affectionately named this former power station for the Interurban Railway, Streetcar Station. We hope you will find our apartment your "home away from home" while you are travelling. CF Ranch & Cattle Co. is a real working Texas Longhorn Ranch in central Ohio. Most of our cattle are gentle and generally quite friendly. The ranch is spread out over 270 acres located on top of gentle rolling ridge that runs north/south . We are 6 miles from grocery stores and lots of shopping. The ranch has views for miles and unbelievable sunsets! Cows and their calves munching on grass and huge trophy steers swaying their horns side to side as they follow the fence line. A great getaway!
