We do supply two kayaks and a couple adult life jackets for you to use during your time here. If you would need a child's life vest we ask that you please bring that with you.

We live just down the road and work on the property in our spare time. We and our team handle the maintenance and management with as little interruption to guests as possible. Routine outdoor maintenance for the 40 acre property is typically scheduled after 10am for lawn, pond, hot tub, firewood, etc. Hot tub maintenance is communicated with guests in advance. .

We are in a rural location with plenty of space between neighbors. Even with space, sound can travel. We ask that you be considerate especially after 10pm. While the barn is set back from the road by over 300ft, you can still hear some light traffic noise from the front porch occasionally. Across the driveway is a separate short term rental, Evergreen Retreat, another amazing property from Gatheryng. The only shared amenities are the sport court, the fishing dock behind the sports court, and the trash cans by the driveway.

We raise garlic, garden vegetables, do aquaponics, have a greenhouse, cut wood for stoves, make hay, compost food scraps, grow shitake mushrooms, and make our own maple syrup. The campfire and wood are available for use.

The Suite is a self contained with a private entrance, The unit has a living room, bedroom, full kitchen, and washer/dryer, and bathroom shower. A Berkey Water Filter is available or bring your drinking water. The bedroom has a Queen size bed and there is a Queen Size Sofa Bed in Living Room area. The unit is connected to the Main House with sound insulation between 2 doors that block most sounds. There is a Deck Walkway that passes by the front door that will have occasional people passing by. Curtains and blinds are available to make totally private.

The Pond is available for fishing with your own fishing gear. Children will need supervision.

If we are available, you can join us to feed the animals and collect eggs: A Cob oven or Pizza Oven is available upon request if we are available for an Extra Charge.

This place is equidistant between the two. located a mile out of Mantua, OH, The Place is not large but enough for four people. The Beds/couch are comfy. The bonus is it is located on a farm like setting. with beautiful gardens both flower and vegetables which you are allowed to pick! As a welcoming bonus was the farm fresh eggs. The animals are entertaining with chickens, Guinea Fowl, Scottish Cows Cats, and Nixie the dog,who checks in with everyone daily. Molly, the curator of the Vrbo is excellent in communication and seems available at a moments notice if you need anything. Definitely would stay again if our Journey ever takes us to the Cuyahoga Falls area again. 5 stars for sure!"

Lake Time Cottage allows you to enjoy a sweet escape to the lake, beach, restaurants, wineries and walking trails with your loved ones. Jump on our bikes (adult trike, tandem 2-seater bike, or regular adult bikes for a quick ride to the beach or bike trails. Take our canoe and paddle board for a ride on the lake. (We will have you sign a quick waiver and small fee of $50 for canoe during whole stay or $20 fee for all bikes during whole stay).

Do you prefer to relax? No problem. You can just relax in our cozy, clean lake house with a quiet back yard & fire pit in the evening. Indoors, we have board games, puzzles and smart TVs with access to your favorite subscription sites on Netflix, Disney+ etc. Cooking is easy in the full kitchen to make your favorite recipes too.

At Lake Time Cottage, stress washes away because you can enjoy the outdoors, therapeutic water and simple lifestyle with modern conveniences on your own time.

Our cozy cabin is located near Lake Rockwell with lots of trees and outside space. The inside of our home has 4 skylights that welcome lots of natural sunshine. There is a sauna in the basement and a wonderful park called Towner's Woods located just a mile and a half away. We are also 10 minutes from Kent State University and downtown Kent.

We recommend having a 4x4 car for winter! If there’s a lot of snow and you don’t, you could get stuck.

***We host up to 6 guests. Only guests staying in the the cabin are allowed to come over unless we have talked about it ahead of time. Please review the rules you agree to when booking. We charge $500 for every rule broken. This includes parties, smoking inside, extra guests, etc.***

We do not provide sauna towels, please use white towels for the shower only and bring your own if you plan to use the sauna. Thank you.

We are open to hosting SMALL events and weddings. If this interests you, please reach out to discuss fees.

Note: bathroom is on the main floor, bedrooms are upstairs. The shower knob is also opposite of what it displays. Please turn it to the right (cold) for warm water.

Note 2: the upstairs oftentimes gets very warm in the summer months. We provide 1 fan for each room and there’s also a ceiling fan in each room. We recommend sleeping with the door open OR closing the door and sleeping with the windows open.

This is our home most of the year. Please respect our space like it is your own. A few rooms are locked away but anything that’s open is yours to use!

If you plan to use the sauna please see the welcome book or reach out with any questions. It takes about 45-60 minutes to heat up (it gets to about 165°).

The upstairs gets warm during the summer months. Each room has a ceiling fan and an additional fan. We recommend sleeping with the door open to allow more cool air to come in and/or opening the windows at night.

The shower is for some reason backwards! Turn to the right for hot water 😊

If you plan to use the air mattress it is in the closet of the small (purple) bedroom. On the shelf you will find 2 pillows, a sheet, a fitted sheet, and a quilt. There are also extra blankets.

We used as a base for cycling and the location was our primary interest because it is about a 1/2 mile ride to the Portage County Hike and Bike Trail, which connects to other nearby trails. Side note: While there, we learned that Brady Lake has an interesting history which you can check out by searching for the documentary Seances & Sloth Machines: The Story of Brady Lake Park."

You'll love this unique & romantic escape located on the Mahoning River near Lake Milton, OH. The container features two floors & is perfect for a couples getaway or a business trip. Upstairs you will find a full size bed & bathroom area with a custom tiled shower & access to the walk out patio with a hot tub. This is the perfect spot to enjoy views of the river & sounds of nature.
Relax downstairs in the living area or take advantage of the complimentary kayaks & take a trip on the river.
Guest access
Guests will be able to access the shared sidewalk to the deck which leads to the shareable dock and the river. Each unit on the property will have access to the dock, kayaks, and a kayak launch. Life jackets are located in the storage container on the dock.
