There is also a basket of toiletries in case you forget your toothpaste etc. We made good use of the pool and the floating rafts. There are lots of areas to sit and enjoy the sun and the beautiful surrounding scenery. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back for sure. Nothing was too much trouble for Nadene and Pat including offering to return from town when we had trouble starting the BBQ (thankfully we got it going). Situated on a quiet street, a short walk of approximately 600 meters takes you to the glorious sandy beach and lake with shallow waters perfect for young children and families.

This gorgeous open concept two-storey year-round cottage features an abundance of natural light, updated kitchen/baths, spacious upper deck and outdoor shower and patio. The kids will enjoy the newer cedar Bunkie only 20' from the back door of the cottage, together with area to safely roam the hills and outdoor play. A horseshoe pit with two outdoor fire pits are sure to delight.

The main cottage offers 4 bedrooms and two full bathrooms with space and privacy. It can sleep 12-14 people. The master bedroom has a Queen bed while the other 2 bedroom have doubles. There is one bunk bed as well as a single bed in the forth bedroom.

A combination of vinyl plank and ceramic flooring are easy to clean up after a day at the beach allowing for relaxing time on the upper deck to enjoy the renowned Lake Huron sunsets!

The cottage is being rented furnished. The driveway easily accommodates up o 8 vehicles.

Near by amenities include many golf courses, bike trails, and restaurants, variety, liquor and grocery stores. Port Franks has three boating marinas.

Recently renovated 2-bedroom cottage gives you plenty of space for the family inside as well as a massive amount of space in the double-wide lot outside! Plenty of room for Volley Ball / Badminton and other activities. There is a large firepit and a swing set located on one end of the lot, as well as a covered deck to stay outside but out of the sun to cool down!

Access to the private beach is permitted when staying.

Welcome to our home! Our renovated vacation home sits on a serene private 200 ft treed lot and in a quiet, friendly and family-oriented neighborhood . Our home has been meticulously updated with the perfect mix of modern styles and conveniences while still showcasing some of the original charm, such as the stone fireplace in the living room and hand-scraped hard wood floors throughout. The main living areas boast high ceilings and multiple skylights which allow natural light to flow through. Our property backs on to a ravine and we have access to several trails from the back of our property. Port Franks private beach is 5 minutes away. Ipperwash and Pinery are 10 minutes away. Grand Bend is 15 minutes away.

- "We were here for the August long weekend with family and friends. This was an amazing place to visit. The stove had an attached griddle for us to make pancakes. We could use the hot tub anytime of the day or night. The host was super nice and allowed us early check in. Nice large firepit to roast marshmallows. There were kayaks for us to enjoy. We had personal contact with the host who was very accommodating and responded right away. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for rest & relaxation or to just unplug from city life. I will definitely visit again!"

* BACHELOR PARTIES OR GOLF GETAWAYS: We do welcome groups and if golfing is your thing we are surrounded by some amazing golf options. We are a short distance from; Widder Station (sought after course in the area), Sandhills Golf Course (2-3 min drive), Indian Hills and Forest City Golf courses both 15-20 min drive away.

* If golf is not for you, why not tour some of the local breweries and cider breweries that Lambton Shores has to offer. All within 20 mins of the cabin you and your friends can check out some of the following Lambton Shore tourist hot spots; Twin Pines Orchard, Bad Apple Brewing Company and Torched Brewing Company.

- "A very nice property in a really great little town on the lake. The front yard with swing and fire pit was great and the house itself has lots of space with three bedrooms, including two of the bedrooms with bunkbeds. This house includes a full kitchen, good size living room, and two TVs in case one wants to watch and one wants to play video games. There are plenty of amenities and accessories available, including kayaks and lots of kitchen, utensils, tools, and appliances. TVs include subscriptions to major video services. One very small warning if you are travelling with a large group, the water heater is fairly small with a capacity of about two showers. The owners are very responsive and look to help however they can. The woodstove and gas fireplace inside are really great as well. The beach is about a 10 minute walk or a two minute drive and the beach here is beautiful. Don’t miss the epic Lake Huron sunsets! Hiking trails nearby through the dunes and very friendly locals. "

Guest access
The guests will have access to the entire property except the locked off area. Please enjoy the beautiful Hilltop Haven and all of its amenities, but please have respect for all of the locked off areas.
Other things to note
There are 4/5 parking spots total on the property depending on the size of your vehicles. When you approach the home and you drive up, you will notice an open space on the right-hand side. It will be marked for guests so it is visible, but there are 2 spots there that guests are welcome to use. The other 2-3 spots are at the top of the driveway, beside the house.

This beautiful "Cottage on The Hill" in Port Franks is the perfect getaway for you, your family and friends! The cottage is located a quick 20-minute walk or 4-minute drive away from the best private beach on Lake Huron. Experience the entire town of Port Franks which includes a playground for children, walking trails, a community centre, and public boat launches. The cottage is close to many great restaurants, golf courses and Pinery Provincial Park. There is a Ring doorbell camera facing the entryway. This device is outdoor only, records video (not audio), and is used only for home security.
