Room was clean and spacious, breakfast was amazing; it wasn’t just cereal or waffles like most hotels, they actually cooked eggs, potatoes, sausage/bacon as well as had waffles, cereal, juice, coffee, bagels, yogurt and more. The pool/hot tub was clean and they had adult only hours which was nice (hot tub could’ve been hotter but was still nice and warm). - "The Lindsay Lodge is an amazingly beautiful classic lodge-style building with high ceilings, stunning wood construction, abundant decks / balconies and large windows facing the Applegate River. The attached restaurant served us a well-presented gourmet dinner, and the cocktails were inventive and delicious. We stayed in the "honeymoon suite" celebrating our anniversary, which was accessed through a door off the lobby great room to a private deck overlooking the river. It was private, peaceful, massive, and beautifully appointed. The property was purchased from the original owners fairly recently by a local family. I know they have been renovating the rooms and making general upgrades. Our suite only had a couple very minor cosmetic fixes to be complete. This in no way detracted from the room, but I want to give an accurate description of the property at the time of our stay. although this is very much a destination location it is central to a number of good wineries and lavender farms. There is also a well-stocked country store with deli and coffee right across the street. I highly recommend putting this property on your "must stay in Oregon" locations. "

It a cute little 2 bedroom house with a private hot tub, picnic table, hammock, shares parking lot and laundry space with the adjacent house. We are 2 rows of houses from the Ocean, there are distant Ocean Views, the smell of sea salt in the air, and gulls squawking overhead. You can access several secret lookout/ overlook spots in our neighborhood, or there is a very short walk to the Whale observatory on the main street, with all the restaurants and shops, as well as the access to the harbor for Whale tours and fishing.

Inside the house we have two cozy queen beds in separate bedrooms with room darkening shades and a TV in each with wifi so you can log in to your streaming services. In the living room there is a comfortable sofa that could sleep 2 kids, and a pack n play. Not really suitable for 6 adults, but if you want to squeeze in we generally are willing to allow it. The living room is cozy with a small electric fireplace for when the fog rolls in and you want to hunker down with a good book. we also have a games closet with lots of family friendly fun options. The kitchen is stocked with basic spices, instant pot, toaster, blender, microwave, stove, fridge...all the essentials. If you need something in particular please feel free to ask if we provide it!

- "The house was cute, comfortable, and welcoming. The location was very convenient with a short walk leading to the shops at Depoe Bay and a view of the ocean. The suggestions in the check-in email were great. The arcade was fun and the neighborhood was quiet. Other reviews mention an uneven floor, which is true, but not really an issue. It seems to be typical of a lot of older buildings in the area; we noticed similar issues in one of the high-end shops. Quick drive to Lincoln City and Newport. Our favorite beach to go to was Fogarty Creek Beach, which is a short 5 minute drive to the north. Janelle was great to work with on check-in and quickly resolved a minor technical issue. We also contacted her ahead of time to see if there were folding chairs in the unit that we could take to the beach. She said there weren't but shortly after told us she ordered some and had them at the unit in time for our stay. We would definitely recommend staying here!"

- "Overall the condo was great and met our needs as a family of four. The three beds were a huge bonus! The condo was very clean and even had a clean smell to it. We ran out of towels after day 2 but they were very responsive to provide more. The pool/hot tub was not open while we were there, which was a disappointment to the kids. We did have very noisy neighbors (215), with constant slamming of their door and we did smell smoke coming from their unit at night, which caused us to close our back door, which was unfortunate because we wanted to hear the waves. Overall, we had a great time and would come back again!"
