- "A relaxing beachview comfortable unit. Roomy enough for the two of us with plenty of space to spread out and unpack our bags for a delightful 10 day stay. Very impressed how the area has recouped from the hurricane this past October. The beach is so close and not alot of folks on it. Two large televisions were welcome relaxation after a long day out beachcombing and sightseeing. Retail and grocery stores as well as restaurants are all within the neighborhood. The unit was equipped with beach chairs, hairdryer and a large refridgerator and microwave, all of which were well used. A BIG PLUS was the FREE easy access parking available to us, in such close proximity to the unit. Communication via email to the rental company was quick, timely and helpful. The only negative we felt was that the temperature of the shower water was too chilly for us, lukewarm. Odd, since the hot water in the bathroom and kitchen sink were always able to get warmer than the shower ever did. A wonderful stay! We highly recommend staying here and would absolutely return again, should our future travel plans allow it!"

This studio condo which is perfect for singles or couples, contains one full bath with open living area with a King bed, sofa and 43" flat screen tv with roku & cable. The kitchenette has a 2 burner stove, microwave, toaster oven, a full refrigerator, coffee maker/kuerig and full complement of pots, pans and dishes. Unit 109 is a lovely tropical corner condo on the first floor adjacent to the courtyard and heated pool where you will also find the community gas grill. The New Orleans themed courtyard and beautiful landscaping provide the perfect setting for a relaxing day by the heated pool. Free wireless internet has been added, so you can enjoy your laptop while lounging by the pool.

The beach is a two minute walk across the street. The Royal Orleans is located at 16333 Gulf Blvd in Redington Beach, eight miles south of Clearwater and eight miles north of St. Pete Beach. Local bars featuring live music and fine and casual dining at reasonable prices are within walking distance. I recommend the Conch Bar. The trolly runs on Gulf Blvd from Clearwater to St. Pete for $4.50 all day on and off service.

Please be aware that Hurricane Helene 2024 left some scars. Both of our units are upstairs and were spared, with no damage at all. However, there was flood damage to the downstairs units. They are now fully mold remediated (even the upstairs was treated as an extra precaution). The whole courtyard, the pool, washers, dryers all have been replaced. The downstairs units will be eventually restored, doors, drywall, furniture etc. It is insurance related and of course manpower related. Just permitting will take at least 2 months from now. If we know more, we will post it. The company we work with will reduce the impact to a minimum, but we simply cannot exclude possible build activity 100%.

- "Enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay again, but would try a first floor unit Unit 212 was clean and had everything we required, but difficult climb to the second floor. The closest stair way was steep with no break or turn landing. It was totally exposed so no shade. Hand rails were so hot, we could not hold on. This may not bother some people, but we are elderly and found it very difficult. The good new is that there are other stairs available but not as close."
