We stayed in an appointment downstairs facing orange farm which was awesome to have though in our first night we woke up on noises early morning around 7 am when farmers arrived to pick up the oranges . That didn’t continue for the rest of our visit thanks goodness . The apartment was clean and fantastic and has all what you need . TV channels didn’t work which we didn’t bother to ask to get fix. Wifi was weak in all locations except the dinning / living room . Swimming pools were small but fantastic to have it just to us alone during our stay. Lot of parking spots available in the street for free although there is parking underground which is not offered during our stay . In my opinion the apartment is great to stay at if you have a vehicle. "

- "Our flight was delayed and we communicated with Jeanette, who came straight back to us and made arrangements for the keys, she also gave us all the information we needed re. WiFi, pool etc. and checked on us via WhatsApp throughout our stay. The home is on a main but very quiet road, easy to find, easy to park directly outside and with easy access to supermarkets, local bars and restaurants - 222 pizzeria being one of our favourites. Everything has been done for our comfort, outside lighting, loungers, water, milk, wine in the fridge, iron, excellent washing machine, drying racks, welcoming homely decor, beach towels, great air con, etc. the pool area looked lovely, very large main pool, nice grounds for lounging in, we didn’t use it unfortunately as we had family locally and this pool doesn’t allow holiday rentals to have guests. The pool is a short walk along the main road which is why I marked 4 on location. I had the impression from the advert that this was a small apartment but it was roomy and comfortable perfect for a couple or small family. Would definitely recommend this lovely home."

We have put non slip treads on the stairs to villa and from the garden to the pool area as it was pointed out in previous review they could be dangerous . This villa is accessed by 10 stairs. The property has been carefully furnished in a nordic style, creating a fresh and bright atmosphere.

A separate building contains the BBQ, garage, laundry área and a useful cloakroom which is handy when using the pool or garden.

The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and access to the porch which leads directly to the pool. There is also a flat screen tv.

All 3 bedrooms have wardrobes, desks and ceiling fans, very practical in the summer months.

Both bathrooms have large walk-in showers with glass shower screens and bluetooth ceiling lights, allowing you to play your music from your mobile devices well as choosing the tone and intensity of light.

The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, oven, glass hob, extractor Hood, capsule coffee machine, kettle, dishwasher, fridge freezer and toaster.

The large lounge diner, the heart of the villa, has a dining table which seats 6, a 3 seater and 2 seater sofa and armchair. 2 windows and french doors to the porch fill the room with light, although in summer the Windows are shaded. Lighting is provided by 2 remotely controlled ceiling fans.

In Winter the fireplace can be lit to créate a wonderful atmosphere, where the fire can be enjoyed whilst enjoying the view of the pool.
The Smart tv has Netflix installed as well as huge amount of channels.

The house has central heating.

Outside we can find the kidney shaped pool, pool shower, the garden and behind the house is additional parking if required.

The BBQ building has double glass doors which can be fully opened in summer or closed on cooler days, it has all of the worktops, sink and utensils you need for great outdoor cooking, we also provide a bag of charcoal.

Next to the BBQ with a seperate entrance, is the garage and laundry área with cupboards, sink and washing machine, detergent and fabric softener is provided. Also in this building is the cloakroom which is very useful when using the pool, BBQ or just in the garden.

The garden has sun loungers, tables and chairs so you can enjoy the sun and the pool. There are also tables and chairs for breakfast or dinner, in summer it can be too hot for eating lunch outside.

There is a lovely sitting área on the porch perfect for enjoying the view of the pool especially in the evening or at breakfast time.

This immaculate semi-detached townhouse on three levels overlooks La Marquesa Golf Course, providing very quick and easy access to the greens. The house is cosy and attractive, both inside and out, and is well-equipped and peaceful with all you could need for a relaxing vacation. On the ground floor is a half bathroom, an open plan lounge/kitchen and the dining area, providing seating for four. For al fresco eating, the spacious front terrace allows you and your friends and family to dine with lovely views of the surrounding mountains and golf course. Upstairs are one bedroom with double bed, and one twin-bedded room - both have spacious double wardrobes and ceiling fans. The bathroom comes with a bathtub as well as a shower - the water pressure is excellent. The best views, and the most private sunbathing, can be enjoyed from the delightful rooftop sun terrace, which features two sun-loungers and a beach umbrella. The gated communal pool is a 1 minute walk along the pathway from the house. Folding sun loungers are available at the house for you to take to the pool. The surrounding area allows for some enjoyable walking with good views and some elevation.

Within a 7 minute walk, and alongside the golf club are a supermarket and many restaurant choices, featuring Asian, international and local cuisine, Irish pub-style fare and cafes. For more entertainment/night life and even more choice, there is Ciudad Quesada, only a few minutes' drive away. There are open markets close by at Rojales and the Sunday Zoco market. The closest beach is 10 minutes' drive at Guardamar del Segura. Valencia, to the north, and Cartagena, to the south, are cities worth exploring.
In case you feel like staying home there is a selection of paperbacks, games, a pack of cards, dominoes, UK television, a DVD player, high speed WI-FI and free Netflix service.

Plenty to occupy the kids nearby, with the beaches of Santa Pola, La Marina, Guardamar del Segura and Torrevieja. Also a big water park:

Rojales itself is a great little place, and the cave houses (quite well hidden) worth a look. Again, plenty of places for coffee or to get a meal. Where you stay can make or break your holiday, and staying at this property certainly helped to make our holiday."

A Weber gas grill and a simple charcoal grill. Dual automatic watering system for the plants.

Parking and garages
In the pool area there is a large garage with space for two cars (nice to have a cool car). Electrically remote controlled garage door. Pool equipment is installed in garages to avoid hearing noise from the pool pump and pool cleaning at the pool area.
On the front is a parking (7x3,5m) behind locked gates. Moreover, there is always plenty of parking on the road, both on the top and the downside of the Villa Oceania.

Villa Oceania is a perfect place to be as the starting point for many excursions both north and south. Moreover, only about 50 km (highway) from the airports of Alicante and Murcia.
Since almost the entire Costa Blanca area is like one long beach, there are many different beaches to choose from (with palm trees, lounge chairs and dining on the beach or where you can be almost alone), the nearest is just 7km away (about 10min by car).

There are local daily markets on almost every weekday in the surrounding villages (worth a visit). One of Europe's largest shopping LaZenia Boulevard is within about 20min trip. Torrevieja is within about 10 minutes by car. From there you can go by boat to places such as the island of Tabarca (about 40min). Many of the boats have glass windows underneath so you can see the fish around the boat. Perfect outing to snorkel and visit the small fish restaurants on the island.

We were originally a little apprehensive hiring this villa as usually in new builds there are always somethings that are to working well and snagging problems. We were pleased to see there were no issues that affected our enjoyment of the villa. The location is quiet and there amazing views from the pool area looking out into the sea (t might it is even more stunning!). To manage expectations, there are other houses being built, having said this, there is surprisingly little or no noise. The same builders are conscious of the numerous residents that have already moved in and are very considerate. From day one to the end, we had a fantastic time, the owners have thought of everything to keep you occupied in the house, the kitchen is well situated near the pool area and well equipped. There is a massive expanse of space in the basement where you can let the kids run wild and play games, a pool table , media and of course the wonderful pool. We did like to go out a lot too and the location of the villa was perfect for local restaurants, malls and any groceries you need to get. The towns also have a number of ex-pats from various countries and therefore you get a good mix of people which also translates into a good variety of bars and cuisine. The beach was a very short short-drive, there is a intriguing wooden walkway that feels like you are on a desert trek (only about 200m) and the beach is absolutely gorgeous. It feels more like a private beach and there aren’t many visitors so take your own deck chairs and supplies. It was clean and sand was very light coloured and so fine it felt it just hugged your feet!. The water was crystal clear and very warm, we were able to walk out quite far into the sea before it got deeper than chest high (for an adult). Other recommended attractions is to go to the Sunday market. It was so huge that it will be difficult to see everything in one day. The atmosphere was amazing, it felt like the markets you get in Thailand, but cleaner and no hard sell!. The fruit and vegetable area was fascinating, various fresh produce (some I didn’t recognise) but full of flavour. I could go on and on about the villa, locations and the quality of the entire experience staying here. All said and done, a holiday can easily be spoilt by low quality accommodation and when things just don’t work"
