I took a photo immediately, with full metadata, showing it was taken that night. They gave us no checkout instructions. Then, after checkout time, they suddenly claimed we broke a bracelet and demanded €100. I sent my photo with proof. Their response? A random photo of six intact bracelets, supposedly taken Thursday at 2 PM — no date, no metadata, nothing. Just their word. How do I know someone didn’t break it in between? Why is that my fault? Feels like a scam. They ignored my proof and keep pushing for the money. You’ve ruined my image of Spain and Alicante. And seriously — what kind of bracelet costs €100? Is it made of gold? Hotels.com should remove rotten places like this from the listings. Otherwise, this hotel will only create more victims, and Hotels.com’s credibility will hit rock bottom."
