Erowal Bay is a quiet village on St. Georges Basin in an area of natural beauty surrounded by kangaroos, pelicans and other wildlife, but only minutes from Jervis Bay and the townships of Hyams Beach, Vincentia and Huskisson . It is located 3 hours from Sydney or 2.5 hours from Canberra and Sydney airport. The area is perfect for walking, playing tennis at the local village courts or relaxing in the sleepy village atmosphere surrounded by kangaroos and other wildlife.
Waterskiing, fishing, canoeing and windsurfing are just some of the activities to be enjoyed on St George's Basin.
There is a boat ramp 300 metres away, and local food fired pizza (generally three nights a week).

This originally built boathouse is located right on the water in Erowal Bay, a quiet village on the St Georges Basin. It is a fully contained modern studio surrounded by water with its own deck leading to a private jetty and open expansive view. Spectacular blue water and stellar skies at night are breath taking. Sunsets on the deck are magnificent way to end the day with a glass in hand surrounded by the colourful beauty of nature. Kangaroos, birds and the odd echidna are local visitors. This is the perfect location for water and nature lovers.

Inside the boathouse has king size bed, lounge area, dining area, a fully equipt kitchen and bathroom. Outside there is a toilet and a fully fenced area. The waterfront provides a playground for sport enthusiasts including swimming, paddle boarding, boating, skiing, kayaking, sailing etc. there is a private mooring available next to the jetty if you have a boat for easy access in and out of the boat. The public boat ramp is a few hundred metres along the road. There are tennis courts within walking distance and lots of bush walks. Once at the boathouse there is no need to drive.

The Boduru National Park has Botanical Gardens and various grades of difficulty bush walks overlooking stunning coastal vistas. Golf courses clubs and pubs are all within a few minutes drive.

The boathouse is fenced allowing for your pet dog to come and enjoy the holiday as well. Pets are not allowed on the furniture so please bring your doggie bed etc. Dogs must be well trained and not disturb neighbours or endanger the wildlife.

- "We booked the lovely house in a last minute for a quick getaway from work. We really enjoy every minute during our stay. There was plenty of firewood and we kept the fireplace running since we arrived middle of winter. The private jetty in front of the house was so perfectly situated on the peaceful lake. One thing to be aware. The neighbour few houses down don’t seem to like dogs and is very rude and aggressive. And also, theirs a lot of kangaroos hanging around the property, we love to see kangaroos but my dog seem to get very excited around them. All in all, we love this property and will definitely come back"
