Springview Retreat is in a class of its own. Situated on a 15 acre property that used to be part of a much larger dairy farm. The original "Springview" farm house is about 100 meters from the cottage. Private access and tasteful furnishings, you won't have to leave your comfortable king size bed (with luxurious linen) to enjoy the sweeping views of the Barrengarry escarpment.

Leave the blinds in the bathroom open, the cattle will be your only curious visitors.

If you have a clear night we guarantee an unforgettable evening lying on the large deck gazing at the night sky full of stars.

Only 7 minutes from the picturesque Kangaroo Valley village that offers a selection of quaint shops and good restaurants. For those a little more adventurous we recommend a trip in a canoe down the river. There are also some fabulous bush walks in, and around the valley. You can also explore the area by car to view the cliffs, waterfalls and rivers.

There are so many ways to enjoy your break at The Willows Cottage - take a walk around the Property or down to the river. Take a leisurely walk down to our Dam watching our Goats and Sheep Grazing. You can cook a meal on the barbeque and enjoy a glass of wine, cuddle up by the fireplace, or just sit back and soak up the stunning views from the veranda. Come evening time you can enjoy a meal out at anyone of our Fantastic Local Restaurants.

Things to do in Kangaroo Valley

At The Willows Cottage you will feel as though you have the world to yourself, yet you are only 5 minutes' drive or a 25-minute walk from the town where you can enjoy browsing the shops and watching the world go by in one of the charming cafes.

If you're feeling active, the Valley features a golf course, horse riding trails, tennis courts and canoe hire. Further afield, you can enjoy the township of Berry (only 1/2 hour away) and the scenic beauty of Jervis Bay where you may be lucky enough to spot a dolphin! In the other direction, you can enjoy the majestic falls and two scenic bushwalks at the Fitzroy Falls national park (15 minutes drive).

Loved the sheets, towels, soaps...everything was thoroughly selected, great quality. We felt very well taken care of. Jenny also offers experiences! We got bicycles as a bonus (prepared by Glyn, Jenny's husband) and booked the canoe experience just next door, super convenient! We finally could not make it due to a health issue. Martin, Jenny's son, was super understanding and had no issue with the cancellation and refund.

Hampden Cottage is easy to find. Located on the northern side of the Historic Hampden Bridge just 2 klms, an easy stroll into the village where you will find the Friendly Inn, restaurants and shops, or a great cafe for morning brunch.

Kangaroo Valley is an ideal base for day trips, be it to the beach and south coast for a spot of dolphin or whale watching, or to the southern highlands on a wine tasting adventure. Just 2 hours from Sydney or Canberra.

A great spot to have a weekend or midweek break, there is plenty to see and do in Kangaroo Valley and surrounds.

The Tailor’s Cottage is located on Moss Vale rd. This is the main road that runs through Kangaroo valley. While central and convenient there may be noise from vehicles on the road. The bedroom is located at the back of the property so it is quite.

We want our guests to be as comfortable as possible and to enjoy their stay at our cottage. Your privacy is treated with upmost respect, but if you need anything or have questions during your stay we are only a phone call away.

The Apartment

The apartment has country appeal with extensive use of timber and glass. An exotic touch enhances the decor. Snuggle beneath throw rugs on the chaise lounge and choose a DVD, or your favourite music. Cuddle up in a very comfortable queen-size bed. Kitchen facilities allow for preparation of light meals, with a microwave oven and a large electric frypan provided. Coffee and teas are provided in the unit.
