Potters ,next to the life boat station ,is a friendly family -run beachside cafe serving delicious crab and lobster - the family fishing boats supply the produce. If you're planning a special occasion or meal in , you can even ask them to deliver one of there seafood platter, Julies also sell crab, lobster and a selection of wet fish from their Kiosk on the wharf.
The crab and Lobster is a local Destination Pub, that sits on the banks of pagham harbor in nearby sidlesham. The menu features plenty of Seafood alongside other Traditional English Dishes.
The Boulevard in selsey has a more relaxed, fun, family friendly fell that offers everything from a lovely all-day breakfasts to a delicious ice cream sundae! Newly refurbished Holiday Let Annex is self contained, self catering, with a light airy and modern feel. Spacious living/dining room containing dining table/chairs, sofa bed, TV and free unlimited WIFI. There is a selection of games and puzzles for those stay in days. The kitchen has oven, hob, microwave, fridge, plenty of storage and a good selection of cooking utensils. Although no washing machine a launderette can be found in the village. Living room leads through to a small hall where you will find clothes hanging facilities and luggage storage. Off the hall is the shower, courtesy sink and WC room and one small double bedroom providing dressing table and stool. Linen and towels are provided.

The Let is accessed through its own independent entry either by the patio doors or rear kitchen door via the garden/driveway.

The Let is ideal for 2 persons. If you require sofa bed linen please advise prior to stay. A small breed, well trained, dog is permitted for an extra cost of £10 per stay. Caedwalla House Annex has excellent parking facilities with a driveway and on road parking. There are two bedrooms and can accommodate up to four people. Bedroom one is a large bedroom with a super king bed overlooking the beautiful view of the garden and horse field and the second bedroom has a small double bed (4ft 6) which can squeeze 2 people to make it extra cosy. There is a large modern bathroom with a separate bath and shower.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need to effectively self cater during your stay (while not out at one of the many local eateries of course!), including kettle, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave and toaster.

Lifeboat View is a modern town house offering extensive accommodation. The property is situated on the the beach & enjoys excellent sea views, particularly from the balcony. The house is light & airy & has accommodation arranged on three floors. This includes a ground floor self - contained apartment which has a kitchenette including an electric hob and microwave with grill and oven. It also has the usual crockery etc. The ground floor has a twin bedroom, double bed & a (double) sofa bed, along with a shower room. The first floor includes a fully equipped kitchen with gas hob, double oven and microwave and it has a dining area off it, along with a large south facing sitting room, with seating for 10 people. The sitting room opens out to the balcony, where guests can sit & enjoy the lovely sea views. On the top floor there is a master bedroom with fine sea views & a king size 4 poster bed. On the same floor there is also a twin bedroom & also a bunk room (beds ok for adults too). There is also a full bathroom with shower. You can be on the beach in 1 minute! Please note that the owners can organise a maid service for prepared meals etc at an additional cost - please enquire for further details.

- "This was our second stay at Lifeboat View with three generations of our family, ranging in age from 13-86 years. The house is in a great location with easy access to the town of Selsey, the beach, some local shops and a good pub. With the eldest of our group having reduced mobility the ground floor bedrooms and bathroom and stair lift to the middle floor was a great help. The house could benefit from a few upgrades/updates to make it first rate. These things have not been addressed in two years and were sadly an issue last time we stayed. Firstly, the internet constantly drops out, when you have a teenager with you this causes much consternation but equally if you need to work whilst away this would be near on impossible. Although some might be looking to get away from technology, in this day and age good internet availability is generally a must. The rotary washing line, which the guest information book encourages you to use to save energy, is unusable. It does not click and remain in the open position so as soon as anything is hung on it, it closes. We managed a make shift solution as we had a bungee cord in our car but otherwise it would have been useless - we reported this last time we stayed so were disappointed to find nothing had been done about it. We do appreciate at lot of people won’t do washing whilst on holiday but those with young children probably do and we like not to take everything home dirty. The shower door, in the top floor bathroom, has obviously dropped as it needed to be lifted and pulled/pushed quite hard to ensure it closed properly without a gap. The guest information needs updating as the description of how to work the televisions and location of board games, amongst other things, is not correct. This has probably changed over the years since the property was first rented out but should be updated to make it accurate. Overall we enjoyed our stay and found the bed linen and towels to be beautifully fresh and clean and the beds comfy. The house is well equipped with everything you need whilst away from home. If the issues noted previously were addressed it would be a superb house."

The property also boasts a rich history. It was once owned by the parents of Paul Weller (who reputedly wrote Eton Riffles amongst other songs during his visits here), while his father managed The Jam. The Hammond organ in the games room belonged to them.

The couple who purchased Warner Wood from the Weller family in 1998 have now relocated to London. Their children have opted to preserve this special place for multi-generational getaways for the entire family, while making it available to other guests who want to enjoy some Selsey serenity.

- "Arrived to a clean and spacious accommodation. Very light and airy. We were a family party of 15 celebrating my husbands 70th birthday, including our 8 grandchildren. The pool definitely made the weekend. They spent hours in the water playing all sorts of games. The sea was only a 10 min. walk and spent a couple of hours there. We made use of the barbeque and all the furniture round the pool. Our sons and husband enjoyed the snooker table, plenty of laughter going on. Bedrooms were set up to our request which was great. We would like to thank the owners for there consideration in ordering padded seats for the 2 sun beds and fans incase we were hot in the house. These arrived when we were there by amazon along with the pool net to remove any leaves etc. Lovely thought. I would definitely recommend warner House. The arrival package was an added treat thank you."

There is a large double room with access to the garden and a fold out bed for one (please ask at the time of booking if you would like this made up), and a further double bedroom.

The large kitchen dining room has double doors leading into the garden, the dining table has seating for 8, making it the ideal space to congregate in the evening to enjoy dinner and play the many games the host has provided. The kitchen has been well equipped with slow cooker, double oven (8-ring gas hob and double electric oven), dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer. microwave, toaster and kettle.

Outside there is a good size garden with plenty of seating for 8 guests.

Selsey is a lovely town to the south of Chichester with a a wealth of independent shops and restaurants for you to enjoy. There are lovely coastal walks and you can follow Selsey's Seal Art Trail, signposted by seals to help you explore the town and discover what makes Selsey so special. We recommend Chichester is just a short drive away with a mix of high street and independent shopping. Gunwharf Quays is along the coast in Portsmouth famous for outlet and The Spinnaker tower.

The Weald and Downland Museum, The Repair Shop is a short distance away to the north of Chichester is an absolute must visit during your stay.

Thank you" - "We loved our stay at the pebbles the property was very clean and tidy and we have had very good contact with the guys at Henry adams who made booking this property very easy" - "This house is in an amazing location - very close to the sea front and a lovely little green area for exercising the dogs yet super quiet. Short walk along the sea front takes you to the fabulous Lifeboat Inn pub where we enjoyed a tipple and some great food in the lovely garden area. Some of the food offerings in Selsey are brilliant (try the Thai - and the immaculate Indian restaurant). I feel like Selsey is a hidden gem - there weren’t crowds of people and I finished our week away feeling well rested and very relaxed. The only negatives for us were the mattress in the bedroom next to the bathroom could do with replacing as the sides are very soft and inclined to tip you onto the floor if you turn to close to the edge, and some building work to a home over the back which obviously is temporary and out of the control of the homeowner/ rental company. All in all this is the best UK stay we have had in years - totally loved it and hope we’ll be welcomed back for future stays."

Portsmouth with the Historic Dockyard and Gunwharf Quays in a short distance away to the west and famous Brighton is about 45 minutes to the east.

Only thing i would have liked was a later check out, but understand reason for vacating the premises at 10.00am." - "The location of this properly was amazing. The sea views were fanatic and the living room layout provided a comfortable vantage point to take advantage of them. We would not hesitate to book again! The bench is 30 seconds walk over the road (which is fairly quiet). The sea was great to swim in and was calm throughout our stay. The 1970/80s decor was quirky and functional, just be careful in the kitchen, the draws come all the way out if pulled and this can be dangerous (landing on feet/small children). The vacuum cleaner that was provided also needs a new belt as the brush doesn't spin. I would recommend that the owners allow more food storage in the kitchen as one cupboard isn't really enough space for food storage for a group of 5. There are lots of other cupboards but they are all full of retro, and not particularly useful, pots pans and other items. If you visit, make sure you walk around Selsey Bill and you can see the sunset over Portsmouth as well as the Isle of Wight."

This railway cottage has been built around the old carriage that was taken off the tracks in 1930. The carriage used to be part of the train that ran along the south coast down to Folkstone. The owner has created a unique holiday home with ample space, including five double bedrooms, a single bedroom, three bathrooms, two full kitchens and a lovely dining area that leads out onto a large patio with outdoor table tennis and lots of outdoor seating. Byeways is perfect for a large family, couple of families or a group looking for plenty of space and room so to not feel on top of each other. There are some narrow corridors in parts of the old carriage and steps to different areas.

Selsey East Beach is a popular destination enjoyed by families, with children’s facilities including a playground and family café behind the seawall. A promenade runs from East Beach to Selsey centre, which is great for an afternoon stroll, plus there are plenty of places to enjoy some seafood and chips. Selsey Bill Lifeboat Station is also worth a visit with its small museum and shop, it is a working lifeboat station and has a fantastic viewing platform. If you are into your seafood, check out Potters who can deliver seafood platters for you to enjoy whilst relaxing back at the cottage.

This area of the south coast has a huge host of local attractions to keep everyone entertained. Chichester is just a short drive away, with its cathedral, fantastic selection of independent shops, a theatre and an array pubs and restaurants, this is a city not to be missed. For those of enjoy walking, the stunning South Downs and plenty of unspoilt beaches are nearby. The space
Pirates Point is a newly furnished Grade II listed holiday cottage situated on the beachfront of Selsey in West Sussex. The 18th century cottage can be found down a secluded lane on the end of a row of terraced cottages that were originally built for the village coastguards.

My property sleeps up to 5 guests (two double bedrooms in the main cottage and a sofa bed in the studio) and is located just a short walk from Selsey High Street.

Ground Floor

Entrance porch leads into the kitchen with stairs up to the first floor.

The large kitchen is a traditional farmhouse kitchen with a dining table seating up to 5 guests. Use of appliances includes an oven, electric hob, fridge and freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. Smaller appliances include a microwave, kettle and toaster.

The cosy sitting room has a large comfortable sofa, arm chair and a smart TV (you will need to use your own log in details to access the apps) and DVD player.

Upstairs you will find two beautifully furnished bedrooms (one king and one double) with lovely views over the surrounding farmland and sea. Both bedrooms have plenty of storage space with wardrobes and chests of drawers. The main bathroom is between the two bedrooms (up a few extra steps) with a bath with hand shower, WC and basin.

There is a small enclosed garden area with patio furniture and a furnished studio where you can enjoy your morning coffee and the spectacular vistas. Inside the studio is a sofa bed, suitable for a fifth guest, which can be made up on request at the time of booking.

There is also a WC and shower room outside for washing off the sea and sand after a day spent on the beach. A lovely base to explore the local area, Pirate's Point is also perfect for those looking to sit back and unwind in the cosy sitting room or out on the sun-drenched patio.

Parking is available for one car, beside the cottage.

There will be some complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits waiting for you which I am sure will be welcome for those arriving after a long journey!
Fresh white bedding and towels are provided (hand towel and bath towel per person), as well as miniature travel sized bottles of shampoo, shower gel and soap. Other items provided during your stay are a washing-up pack, loo roll and kitchen roll. These should last a couple of days. If more is needed, there is a local convenience store on the High Street.

Guest access
Guests have access to the whole property. Access to the cottage is down a private gravel road, and there is space for one car beside the cottage. Access to the cottage is through the archway and the front door is the first porch door.

There is a large open plan kitchen and lounge with a dining area, we will leave you a tea towel and hand towel to use in the kitchen. This area is really flexible and allows lots of space for the family to enjoy together while cooking, playing games or relaxing. There is a en-suite with toilet/sink and a separate bathroom with shower which is really useful when there are several of you sharing. There is a tv in the lounge with freeview and a inbuilt DVD player. If required we can provide a booster seat for meals and a travel cot. Please just add this to your booking. You will need to bring a sheet and blankets/sleeping bag for little one.
