This charming early century cottage is the perfect blend of original features and modern conveniences. The hosts at Blacksmiths have just completed a facelift including recruiting a new specialist cleaning team so guests can look forward to a comfortable stay.
The large kitchen is furnished with everything you will need to comfortably self-cater during your stay. The kitchen includes oven, hob, freezer, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a comfortable seating area overlooking the well maintained and tranquil garden. On warmer days there is a BBQ outside with plenty of outside seating and a shed at the bottom of the garden where you can store your bikes.
At the front of the house is a large cosy living area with a TV and a wood burner, the perfect room to snuggle down after a day of walking around Bosham harbour or even shopping in the nearby Chichester city centre.

The house is situated to the east of Bosham which is a quaint village on the Hampshire/Sussex boarder. From the house you can walk to the shore within a few minutes passing through the village itself which is charming and has a collection of sweet little independent shops and two wonderful pubs, The Barclay Arms and The Anchor Bleu which are well worth a try.

If you venture into Chichester you will find a wonderful array of both independent and high street shops and boutiques. If you really fancy a treat book yourself a table at Purchases for a fabulous meal or just cocktails.

For a great day out you can easily reach Portsmouth Historic Dockyard or The Weald and Downland Open Air Museum, home of BBC's The Repair Shop, both places are great fun for any age group. There is outlet shopping, cinema complex and bowling at GunWharf Quays which you can easily reach by car or train from Emsworth. For something a little different you can book seal watching boat trips from Hayling Island or hire kayaks from Emsworth Marina.

A lovely recently refurbished three bedroomed home in the beautiful village of Bosham, with a private rear garden and outdoor dining. Private parking with space for paddle boards or a small boat, perfect for the watersports enthusiast. Bosham Harbour and Saxon church are a short walk away, where there are cafes, restaurants and a pretty pub overlooking the water. This is a perfect location from which to explore the area of Chichester, the South Downs or attend a Goodwood event.

This is a pretty end of terrace home in the popular harbour village of Bosham. The house has 1 King size bedroom, 1 twin bedroom and a small single bedroom. There is one newly refurbished bathroom and a downstairs loo. The sitting room is bright and airy with comfortable sofas. This leads on to the dining area which has large French doors to the rear private patio garden area.

There is private parking for two cars round the back of the property. The village of Bosham itself is perfect for walking around or there is a car park down near the water front. Buses stop nearby taking passengers to nearby Chichester or to Portsmouth. 1 mile away is Bosham Train Station for trains to Chichester, Portsmouth, Brighton and London.

This property is amazing all year round for a visit to Bosham.

Bosham stands on a small peninsula between two tidal creeks at the eastern end of Chichester harbour. As well as providing an excellent sanctuary for migrating wildfowl, it is also a wonderful centre for sailing, with literally hundreds of moorings for boats and yachts. In the summer, the Quay is a perfect location to watch the activity on and off the water and out of season it is equally beautiful, with glorious sunsets to be seen above the coastline and level walks to be enjoyed along the shore.

Bosham still has an enchanting old world feel to it, with picturesque streets and houses, seemingly from a bygone era. Historically speaking, it is one of the most important villages in Sussex. Bosham has much to offer the modern traveller. There is a wide variety of pubs, restaurants and tea rooms, in which to enjoy anything from a cappuccino to a gourmet meal. Transport links are good, with an hourly bus service to and from Chichester and a railway station in the northern part of the village. The M27 motorway is just a short distance away and provides easy access to Southampton airport and the M3 to London.

There is no dedicated parking spot but there is a large car park directly behind May Cottages.
Driving to the property is a good option, as it gives you the freedom to explore the area at your own pace. Or you can always order taxis if you’d prefer someone else to do the driving for a change. Should you wish to use public transport, there’s a bus stop within a 15 minute walk of the house with regular services into Chichester. In Chichester, there’s a mainline train station which can link you to various destinations across southern England, including Brighton, Portsmouth and London.

You will instantly feel relaxed stepping into this stunning apartment, converted from a former Rectory into the beautiful holiday home it is today. The hosts have gone to every effort to make this a comfortable home from home with high quality fixtures and furniture.

Entering the apartment into the large hallway the main King sized bedroom is to the front adjacent the double bedroom. The family bathroom is at the end of the hallway with a walk in shower.

The Kitchen area has everything you would need to comfortably self cater for your stay including: fridge with freezer compartment, washing machine, Krupps coffee maker, toaster, kettle and microwave. The Kitchen leads through into the Lounge / dining area with lovely comfortable sofas and a dining table with seating for four. This room has lovely original features and a superb fireplace. Double casement doors lead into a lovely sunny patio area with bistro set to enjoy your morning coffee.

- "We were in the UK for the Goodwood FOS. Proximity to the event was quite good (though traffic to the site was very congested!) The property was clean and well kept. Fortunately the weather was cool so while A/C was not available, it was not needed. The flat had all the conveniences needed for making meals and doing laundry (tho we didn’t need to use it). We did have to make a run to Tesco to pick up bar soap and shampoo - which we should have thought of being a flat & not a hotel - and some food, of course. We had a slight challenge navigating the instructions to access the flat & the other neighbours in the complex seemed a bit irritated with us, but I think we won them over by not being there all day & being exhausted by the time we did return, thus making very little commotion before we turned in. Perhaps the best part for us was the proximity to ‘The White Swan’ Free house (pub) where we spent a few evenings and were welcomed back with open arms upon our return in the evening! This was quite an enjoyable, convenient stay!"
