Plus the room is very nicely decorated with local photos, beautiful wall coverings.... and the pillows... YES! PLENTIFUL AND VERY COMFORTABLE.!! Too to it all off, the ceiling fan gives the traveler complete control over their environment. Again, do yourself a favor.... get a reservation at the Nordic.... treat yourself to a bit of 5 star luxury at an economy price. Nice young folks at the desk too. Nestled in the historic district, you can easily walk to all the shops and restaurants. The Wildcrafter Spa is right across the street with jetted soaking tubs, 8 person sauna, and cold plunges (summer months). The mountain views are beautiful in every direction with the iconic Kendall Mountain as the backdrop. Watching the sunset as it lights up Kendall is gorgeous. The Kendall Mountain ski area is just a quick walk or drive down the street. Silverton Mountain ski area is about a 15-20 minute drive. The Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad comes into to town and lets guests off just half a block from the Guest House.

Getting Around:
You don't need a car to get around town but many people like to rent a jeep or side by side to explore the famous Alpine loop in the summer months. In winter, you will need a car (with all wheel or preferably 4 wheel drive) to get to Silverton Mountain or Purgatory Ski Resort.

Villa Dallavalle has seven rooms all with private baths appointed with lush robes, flat screen tv's, wifi and our Wildcrafter Spa day pass is included. The Wildcrafter Spa has an 8 person sauna, jetted soaking tubs (6 person and 4 person in winter and 2 additional 2 person tubs in summer), cold water therapy (in summer) fire pits, grills and lounges. Our place has European charm with lots of history and was built by the patriarch of our family, Giovanni Dallavalle, in the late 1890's. We have a spa - The Wildcrafter Spa with signature foot soaks, scrubs, massage and steam room with aromatherapy. What a great value and wonderful way to start the day off right.
