The building is old, quaint, and full of history. The staff were so helpful. Hanna, a staff member was particularly so. But all the staff were delightful, and attentive. The Hotel provided plates and cutlery and napkins, and could drink our own alcohol in the lounge after the bar had shut. So we received lots of support from the staff to make sure we were still taken care of. We will definitely return, as we have friends in that area. "

Whilst we are a married couple and the shower cubicle had some frosted glass I would have preferred a little more privacy whilst showering as this meant getting undressed and dressed in the bedroom before getting in the shower cubicle and having to step out of the cubicle into the room to get the towel. Had this been the only room we had seen I would have been very disappointed with our stay and the price paid but the rest of the hotel and our other room was charming so I think we possibly drew the short straw on the room this time. In summary, a nice hotel but your experience overall might depend on the room you get. "
